Terrible company. Expect your order to be wrong the first time you receive it. Then expect to go through a process to get it fixed. Would not recommend.
Someone ordered merch on my credit card…
Someone ordered merch on my credit card fraudulently. I reported it. I reached out to them several times to return the product to them and they did not respond. They did decide to tell my credit card company it wasn’t a fraudulent purchase. It was, their customer service would rather try to screw someone over rather than take their product back. It is horrible customer service!
The Good Deal, the Bad Support, the Horrible Warehouse
Hi, first time customer on the house website. Super nice deals, but super disappointed. After getting nice deals, I waited long over two weeks for shipping tracking #. Then order came, but the box was half opened. Wrong items upon receiving, and no bubble wrapping inside :(wrong items and scratched :(. Super disappointed and upset! Now I'm stock with stuff i don't need and no stuff i need. The chat is worthless as it will drop the connection due to too many customers. Best to email. But that's also a long shot as help is improbable. Wrong and misleading description on the web resulted in wrong items or perhaps they don't care. Many wasted hours trying to contact customer service which is a pain in the ... overall C- Save yourself a headache! Either really really make sure. LIKE 100% that the descriptionis correct or don't bother. I mean when you get the confirmation email check the parts you ordered because there is a good chance ( due to misleading description) you have ordered wrong stuff!!! Good deals, not the best customer service and even worse warehouse employees that don't give a .... care. Overall, super upset and disappointed! Total waste of time and money. Most of all super frustrating! Never again. You get what you pay for! Never fails! Hope you go out of business soon! As you don't deserve to be around.
Now the Worst of the Worst - Do not buy from The House
Used to be a frequent shopper at The House for 3-4 years and never an issue other than delays in shipment. But the last 2 months of 2022 from The House is easily the quickest downturn in being the worse retailer for outdoor gear. Puzzling how bad they have become.
Last 2 orders have been real bad and The House does not care. Order 1 - ordered an high end bike cassette and was tossed in a box with out any packaging or wrap to protect. Slight damage. Facebook Messaged photo of the packing job, they asked for the order number and nothing. No sorry, no apologies. Order 2 - order bike crank and pedals. Package comes in and it’s huge box like 3x3 and hear rattling inside. Open the box, no crank but a bike cassette in 20 pieces? So mad I was bait and switched. I was refunded my money but The House does not care.
I have 3 more orders I’m waiting on. Have zero faith The House will ship me the right product, undamaged and on time. Cannot tell you how many other people are having problems with this company - just look at the recent reviews.
Even worse I used my influence to promote this business and gave them tons of sales. Now I look bad because people that trust me are just going to be disappointed. DO NOT give your money to The House until they fix their house.

No Customer Service
I ordered my sons snowboard boots from them on November 29th and I still haven't received them. I waited on the phone for over an hour and still could'nt get through. I have sent emails and not gotten any response. Its very unfortunate to run a company like that.
Horrible company
Horrible company. They don’t ship when they say they will and they don’t answer their phone, they never even told me the item I paid for was out of stock. They’re a nightmare to deal with!
Shady company
Ordered the wrong sunglasses and I immediately called, emailed and tried to chat to cancel the order. Customer service is non existent. No one responded and now I have to pay $10 to send back. They just want you to give up and keep whatever it is that they over charged you for in the first place. Not a trustworthy business.
They are WAY over their heads
Ordered 2 pairs of in stock skis/bindings with overnight shipping. Ended up having to contact customer support many times over the course of 2-3 weeks inquiring about why I haven't received the order. The average queue in support is 130. A month later I get the order and only 1 pair of bindings is included. Again I contact support knowing that there is no way they will resolve this by my ski trip. Sure enough a few days later and nothing. Now my ski trip is here so I head to the store to buy the same bindings so they fit the plate that is on my ski and find out it was an old model of that binding and nobody has them anywhere. This has just been a MASSIVE headache. Worst online experience of my life and I do a lot of shopping online.
Security tag left on clothing
I received the item I ordered quickly. But they left the security tag on. So annoying to try and correct the issue. I don’t have time to try and send back for a replacement.
They will make it right ... IF you are patient enough to get through
Well, wish I'd checked these reviews before I purchased, because my story is the same. I purchased what was advertised as a ski + binding kit. When it arrived ... no bindings. Surely they'll make it right? Nope. Can't get through to support. Phone, chat, contact form ... forget it. They decided customer service isn't important.
UPDATE: I am changing my review from 1-star to 4-star. I tried by phone again, and managed to get through (after 2 hours). The rep I spoke with was friendly, acknowledged the issue, and followed up today to let me know they found a set of the bindings that were left out of the initial shipment, and expedited them to me. Docked one star because this was only possible after weathering a brutal 2-hour hold.

waited a month to get my order only for it to arrive WRONG. sent me the wrong item, not what i ordered, they put a lesser valued item in the box of the item that i ordered! cannot get hold of anyone to replace them with the ones that i actually purchased will not answer phone on hold emailed several times no response on hold on chat cannot get to an actual person to have this issue resolved. terrible customer service. after an hour on chat got a person who admitted they didn't HAVE the item i ordered in stock and therefore sent me something ELSE, something at a lower value no less that did not have the features i was interested in. WHO DOES THAT!? has to be illegal. now i have to waste time and money to drive to the fed ex to return something I DIDNT EVEN ORDER when this company tried to scam me, my mountain opens up tomorrow, i have a season pass with no boots thanks to this horrible company and their awful customer service. oh and they offer 15% coupon off another pair of boots when the ones i bought i had a better discount, so probably another reason why they tried to pull this move. unbelievable!!
