I ordered a table top rising stand for a computer and monitor. It arrived in packaging that had previously been opened and resealed. I decided not to chance opening it and requested a return. I'm having to jump through hoops as the seller states it has to be sent via an evri parcel shop, but two parcel shop say it has to be a home collection as it is too large and too heavy for them to take. I'm still waiting to hear from the seller and time is running out for the return.

Today I foolishly bought Tesco Gold brand instant coffee 200g @ £2.49. I bought this a year or so ago and it was OK quite pleasant with milk. The jar I bought today is beyond ghastly, tastes like warm mud/dirty dishwater. The granules don't smell like coffee, I have no idea what it actually is. It is shown as price matched to Aldi! That may be but it is certainly not quality or taste matched to Aldi. I then decided to give this product a poor review on Tesco.com website - along with 50% of of real shoppers who also found this product 'vile' and 'disgusting' which is accurate. The obvious remaining fakes found it 'wonderful' and 'the best coffee ever'. After this ongoing negative experience I wont be shopping at Tesco again. Please avoid this awful product I am taking mine back today for a refund.
*Update, even though Tesco pledge to refund in full any product a customer is unhappy with, I was declined on the basis the jar had been opened with one scoop removed. But this is not the end of my fight to get my money back.
After several failed emails, I find Tesco has made itself practically uncontactable for customer service. Emails listed online go to nowhere, phone numbers either cut off or present so many irrelevant menus, none relate to store grocery products or customer services. Anyone trying to complain to Tesco should write to their registered head office:

I don't see the point in leaving a REVIEW as TESCO'S DONT REPLY TO THEM.
So if you go to store and spend over £60.00 you will get a petrol voucher for 8p off a litre.
but if your wife is disabled and you shop on line you don't get the voucher.
so my wife has 2 online orders one for over £70.00 and one for £67 including delivery costs.
SO HOW IS THAT FAIR AND GOOD CUSTOMER RELATIONS TESCO'S.

Tesco published a promotion price on sausage rolls down from £3.50 to £2.60 my wife purchased two packs. I returned to purchase more and the promotion was correct only when I scanned the product it was full price so my wife had actually paid £3.50 not realising. When I raised the issue the assistant told me although the product was the same the bar codes on some packs were different, so some were discounted and some were full price. There was only two packs with the discounted bar code but I wanted more but was told I could not scan the discounted product and take full price ones. I am willing to accept that Tesco did not deliberately attempt to mis-guide people but once the mistake was pointed and to not correct it and insist that customers must be able to read barcodes to distinguish which of the exact same product is discounted and those that are not is painfully stupid and annoying. Come on Tesco get your act together.

BEWARE - Tesco in Market Weighton is issuing 5% off fuel vouchers, these are NOT redeemable here, another nail in Tesco's coffin. My wife was not made aware of this when the voucher was issued. On previous occasions we had been able to redeem the discount at the instore kiosk. On discussion with the Manager he was very apologetic but did tell me that the in store kiosk was not a kiosk, as it stated on the voucher it had to be redeemed at a kiosk. Not his fault but Tesco need to get their act together, Can't wait for ALDI to open!!

I wanted pepsi max caffeine free (24 pack x 3). On my Tesco groceries app, it showed they had some in stock.

Not only was it not on the shelf, no one made any real effort to look for it.

As for the duty manager, he was good at making excuses but apart from that, I felt he was as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike!

Tesco pharmacy at meir park, stoke on trent, staff are only nice to people they are friends with. Been a regular customer for 30 years however, every visit the staff walk around like they own the place and the customers walk around making nasty comments about people they dont like and they dont even buy anything, why bother going there?
Each time its like an extremely bad, distasteful 'carry on film'

Trying to phone and speak to a human being is not easy!

Unfortunately, I find one of the male members of staff at Tesco Express in Highgate Village overly familiar with customers. This includes winking, noticeably checking customers out and trying to initiate unnecessary conversation.

Customers should be able to shop without feeling they are being personally scrutinised or flirted with. Winking at customers is not appropriate in a customer-service environment.

I think it would be helpful for management to remind all staff during a morning briefing about maintaining appropriate professional boundaries with customers and avoiding behaviour that could come across as over-familiar, intimidating or inappropriate.

Poor quality food , bought a loaf of bread immediately was only 75 pence but tastes like cardboard, bought cheese gone off after a few days.

I now shop with Sainsbury for a few pence more much better quality.

I used to be a real fan of Tescos, no longer have swapped to a better company

I have used my local Tesco for years. The last few months have been awful. Every week there are at least three items out of stock and empty shelves. Schweppes slimline tonic water has been out of stock now for three weeks?? I am sick of having to go elsewhere now. Also, last Friday the self serve section has been extended and there is now only 5/6 tills with one open on a Friday afternoon? The queue was unbelievable. Will be shopping elsewhere now.

i recently spent more than £100 in tesco rosyth expecting a petrol coupon to help .
no coupon supplied -went back to the store and they claimed they didn’t give them out , despite posters saying different
they even claimed it’s because this store doesn’t sell petrol ….

I don't know whats going on with them, I think they may be introuble. I've had a few issues lately that are not major but when trying to contact Tesco, there's nothing. I notice they've abandoned X (Twitter), not posting since 2024. It's my prefered way of a quick simple contact... not to shame, just to make contact as and when. They are using facebook to promote their competitions and offers but don't seem particularly interested in customer experience.

Just 1 example - I mentioned to a staff member that the last dozen eggs I had purchased where watery and very pale - not very appertising. The response was, "you do realise that the cheaper range can be upto 45 days old before they even hit the shelves". I was horrified so attempted to contact Tesco with a direct message via X - heard nothing. Maybe if they're not using X they should remove themselves from the platform all together.

Another example - salad items are completely tasteless and do not last. I even tried an organic cucumber after a miserable standard one. No difference!

Another example - They offer cheap veg at Christmas and Easter... I tried carrots, brussels etc. OK, was it 15p a pack or 9p, not sure but they were off or very floppy by Boxing Day.

I think they are now taking us all for mugs!
- Bananas turn to mush in 2 days.
- Chicken breast stringy
- All the meats pumped full of something to plump them up (and increase weight). When did you last manage crispy bacon or crunchy cracling on your pork roast?
- Bread, even the loaves that suggest they are healthier are not... Scanned them all with the Yuka app, all of them Poor except the Sunflower and Pumpkin which was good but is nothing like a full loaf.

As for Club Card pricing... it's not cheaper with a card, it's just less expensive than the hyped prices which they use to manipulate you into having a card.

They, and I'm sure the other supermarkets are no different, have desimated local businesses but I'm sensing a resurgance. Late to the party I know but I've started using local butchers and green grocers too. The taste and quality is so much better. Perhaps a little more pricey, but it's food - it's not plastic wrapped crap pumped full of more crap.

Maybe not today and maybe not tomorrow, but Tesco, soon... your days are numbered if you keep this up.

If they do see this they will probably ask for store and staff details. The staff are great so I'm not going to drop them in it. No doubt Tesco's will work that out from my name using the vast amount of data they hold on customers.

So, i was shopping in lidls, and suddenly i feel a rupture coming from my behind, i had to leave lidls to run to the londis around the corner because lidl had no facilities for me using the toilet, it still hurts to this day, and whenever i feel it coming, tesco is there to provide for me because they have clean and good toilets

What an absoulute garbage deliver service. Just advised today that HALF of my delivery items are unavailable. What a waste of time - why bother paying for a service from a company that cannot provide that service? I might as well have just gone to the shops to start with.

Why advertise products as AVAILABLE when they are not? And why aren't these comapnies regulated? I guess I'll have to protest with my wallet, and just never use Tesco again. Jack Cohen would be spinning in his grave.

The company that tell lies… look up Astley Warehouses and see how the Tesco distribution company Whistl treat the local residents with utter disgrace. Tesco and Whistl have made bad decisions by selecting Astley as a business location. My advice is to back out of there and is somewhere else. Wigan Council are the ultimate culprits please don’t encourage them by using the Astley site.

Tesco uses Whistl out of the Astley distribution centre and it’s ruining the lives of the locals.
I’m boycotting Tesco for this reason.
