$150 gone. I've planted bare root successfully. I followed instructions. No luck. "Your case does not fit our waranty." What does that mean? Why not? So you can ship people anything in any condition and then tell them their case "does not meet warranty"?
Also, I ordered American beech and these look nothing like the other American beeches I have. These are European.

As a family-owned nursery since 1959, we do not ship dead trees, and every order is covered by our 100% Live Arrival Guarantee. Every shipment also includes a QR code explaining how to perform a simple scratch test to determine whether a dormant tree is alive upon arrival.
We also respectfully disagree with the statement that we can "ship people anything." We work hard to accurately identify every tree we grow and ship. If you believe you received a different species, please email me at help@tnnursery.net with clear photos of the leaves, bark, and overall tree. I'd be happy to personally review them.

Good product, good value
My plants have been in the ground for less than a week but a they are already sprouting new leaves and showing signs of being healthy and ready to thrive. The only drawback was the delivery timeline was not as expected at the time the order was placed.

I paid for Live Pond Lillie’s
I paid for Live Pond Lillie’s, all I got is Bulbs and they were Dead. I Paid $502 for 30 Bulbs, unbelievable, how Sad. I was taken advantage. One day, after I Ordered, I cancelled. They Denied my Refund, eventhough their Return Policy is only 5% penalty, they Refused. I Ordered on April 13 and didn’t Receive unto May 14, 2026. Very Dissatisfied.

Water lilies are sold and shipped as dormant bare-root rhizomes, not as actively growing potted plants. This is the standard method of shipping water lilies and allows them to establish successfully once planted. Dormant rhizomes can appear lifeless, but that does not mean they are dead.
Your order had already entered processing when the cancellation request was received. As disclosed in our cancellation policy, once processing has begun, orders are subject to the applicable cancellation fee because the plants have already been prepared for shipment.

I purchased 50 bare root cypress
I purchased 50 bare root cypress. They arrived one month to the day from when I ordered them. I received double the amount I ordered and all trees looked very healthy with the majority starting to bud within a week of potting. The only reason I didn’t give five stars was due to delayed shipping but the extra plants and health of the trees definitely mean I’ll be coming back in the future, I’ll place the order earlier next time.

Transparency with shipping delay…
Transparency with shipping delay was appreciated. Package was then sent to the wrong state and was nearly destroyed when it arrived. The plants were all in great condition despite the added week in the mail. They are growing well already. Great product and would buy again.

I ordered the 25 bundle of bare root sugar maple trees. They arrived if great condition. The trees I have planted have leaves. They are growing well. I have some in temporary pots, they too are budding. I would order from them again.

The shipment took very long and the trees where dry and the rootball where it had moisture on wrapped cardboard shred it had white fungi that killed the roots.

Poor customer service and plant shipping
Bloodroot plants should have been sent to me in April. They were not sent until mid- May. Paid for 2 day shipping and USPS didn't deliver until a full week after the company's shipping notification.
Company does not reply to emails sent to their customer service department.

We do want to clarify that TN Nursery does not offer 2-day shipping, so that statement is not accurate. Once an order leaves our nursery, delivery times are determined by the carrier and the shipping service selected at checkout.

We received everything we had ordered plus a few extra on most items. Was hoping to have a little sooner but was in good condition when we got them now hopefully everything will grow well! A lot of the peach trees are starting to get small leaves already.

I would have given five stars
I would have given five stars. The website is great and the ease of placing the order was simple.
My issue is that the 25, 24" tall raspberry plants were not dormant. All had leafed out and some had flowers and berries just getting started. Will they make it? We'll see.
When you scan the qr code for planting instructions and it tells you that these items are dormant because they were in cold storage, it's not good.
I didn't want to leave a review until I saw how things turned out because the raspberry plants could make it and I've slighted a company that I like. The entity that operates the review process is quite pushy....

Our raspberry plants are shipped dormant as bare-root plants, and the QR code explains what customers should expect during dormancy and how to plant them properly. If your plants had begun to leaf out during transit, that can occasionally happen as warmer temperatures naturally break dormancy. It does not mean the plants are unhealthy, and they typically continue establishing well once planted.
