Very poor experience

Very poor experience — €50 lost and serious concerns

I had a very bad experience with Taxicentrale-Schiphol.nl and would not recommend using this company.

Before the scheduled pickup, their driver sent me a WhatsApp message saying he would arrive approximately 10 minutes early. Because he said he could not stop outside the building for long, I replied that we would wait for him outside.

We went outside and waited for approximately 20 minutes. Another driver then arrived, appeared to know that we needed transport to the airport, and picked us up. Only when we reached the airport did he tell us that he was not from the company we had booked with. He then demanded €100 for the journey, even though we had already paid Taxicentrale-Schiphol.nl €50.

When I complained, Taxicentrale-Schiphol.nl claimed that their driver had phoned me and had entered the building to look for us. However, I had no missed calls, and the driver never sent another WhatsApp message—even though WhatsApp was the only method he had used to communicate with us before the pickup. He also did not try to contact us by email.

The company simply accepted the driver’s version of events. They did not properly investigate the WhatsApp conversation or ask the driver to provide evidence of his alleged calls and messages. They also said we could have been up to 15 minutes late, even though their driver had specifically told us he would arrive early and we were already waiting outside.

I also find it extremely concerning that another driver appeared to know where we were going. I cannot prove how this happened, but the circumstances left me feeling very uncomfortable and suspicious.

Taxicentrale-Schiphol.nl refused to refund the €50 I had already paid. Based on my experience, I strongly advise travellers to be extremely cautious before booking with this company.

Fijne ritten, chauffeurs op tijd.

Ondanks enorme drukte op de wegen naar de Schiphol aankomst/vertrek was de vriendelijke chauffeur ruim op tijd met z'n Tesla. Communicatie verloopt prima via telefoon en whatsapp. Heen en terug een prima rit!

Schiphol taxi

Een chauffeur die wist wat hij deed, snel en accuraat hielt van doorrijden maar veilig. De gehele organisatie is volgens mij goed georganiseerd en een snelle communicatie, wij waren na de formaliteiten op Schiphol binnen 10 min onderweg naar ons adres.
