one star because i cant give zero…
one star because i cant give zero stars. I searched for free driver updated software and this product was first on the list.I installed your software and ran it. only to be greeted with a ransom message asking for me to pay to register it if i wanted the drivers updated. very poor practice. and a complete waste of my time....seriously not happy...nowhere does it tell you that you must register the software for it to do what it actually does.

Additionally, we do not install anything or show any pop-ups on the user's machine without their consent, it is possible that you clicked on some ad owing to which you are receiving the pop-up ads.
I request that you provide us with the screenshot of the pop-up you are receiving so that we can look into the matter.

My doubts erased!
In Nov 21 I paid to upgrade their product "photo fixer". I immediately received a "welcome" email but no licence key to enable me to upgrade the trial version. I emailed them on the 30th Dec and again on the 4th Feb 22 and no replies from them whatsoever. My credit card was debited GBP 20.05 as the upgrade was on a "special offer". Having finally got around to sorting our both my photos and files, I really wanted to strat using this software in anger so to speak. At the moment, I really do not trust this company and feel cheated. Unless I get a response soon, I will revert to my credit card company for a refund if its not too late. Till they reply to this post, I would suggest people to be aware.
I am now pleased to add that I have had a response with humble apologies and received the product codes. I have activated the software and it works well. Only 4 stars due too the length of time to get back to me from my earlier query.

Also, whenever any customer make the purchase, we send a confirmation mail with the product URL to download the product. I suggest you to please check the Spam/Junk folders for the same.
Additionally, we have already provided you the download links and the registration keys of Duplicate Photos Fixer and Duplicate Files Fixer on your registered email id yesterday.

Ik ben al dagen bezig om via support…
Ik ben al dagen bezig om via support Systweak te vragen om activation code voor het programma Duplicate Photos Fixer pro te krijgen. Gekocht en betaald maar ondanks meerder mails geen antwoord.
Ze verkopen producten in Nederland maar daar is geen support afdeling voor zover ik dat kan uitzoeken.
In het pakket zat ook gratis Photo studio v2.1, na installatie geen internet meer en laptop gecrashed
Moest Windows 11 opnieuw installeren, dus ook Duplicate Photos Fixer pro waarvan ik de activation code kwijt ben geraakt.

We hebben ook onze database gecontroleerd en volgens deze is Duplicate Photos Fixer met succes geregistreerd op 18 januari 2022.
Met betrekking tot Systweak Photo Studio, houd er rekening mee dat het product grondig is getest en de normale werking van een Windows-pc niet verstoort. Het is gewoon een fotobewerkingssoftware die als gratis wordt aangeboden met Duplicate Photos Fixer.
Ten slotte heeft ons technische team u opnieuw een antwoord gestuurd als reactie op de e-mail die is ontvangen van uw geregistreerde e-mailadres met de downloadinstructies voor beide producten.

Folder priority function is buggy
I purchased this to scan my photo directories (10+ directories, 8000+ photos). It did a good job of finding the duplicates, but that's where the positive part of this review ends. Many of my dups where spread across multiple folders, so I used the folder priority function for selecting deletes. No matter what combination I tried in shifting the top folder in the priority order, the result was always the same - wrong pick. The original top folder, remains as top priority regardless of where you "shift" it to. As an engineer, I was very thorough in trying to make this work (spent over 4 hours). I deselect all other prioritization methods, with folder priority being the only sort criteria. The only way I could get some positive results was to move all other photo folders (one at a time) above the "default" top folder. Simply moving the "default" folder to the bottom does not work.

Regarding the Folder Priority option in Duplicate Photos Fixer, please note it is meant to give a folder the highest priority so that the images in that particular folder can be retained from deletion.
Currently, it does not have the functionality to choose a folder from which you may want to delete duplicate photos.
However, looking at the users' convenience, we have forwarded your concern to the development team.
Lastly, our technical team has also sent you a reply in response to the mail received from your registered email id with detailed instructions on how to set the folder priority manually.

Does what it says...
Have purchased a suite of programs with Systweak, Duplicate photos fixer (DPF), Dupicate files fixer (DFF) and Systweak Photostudio (free). Regarding an annual subscription compared to outright purchase, you shouldn't need to run this more than a couple of times in any one decade, so no big problem. In terms of speed, DFF scanning 350,000 files has done it in about 45 minutes. I suggest to others they need a new computer. So far all good and am very happy with my purchase.

Horrendous program
Horrendous program. Ignoring the fact that it says it is £29.95 but ends up as £44.92 once they have thrown is extras that you can't not have and VAT this program is terrible. It takes over 12 hours to scan 5,000 documents on Windows 10 and always deletes the excellent copies leaving the photos that have a slight corruption.

Potential scam
Potential scam. I purchased the program using a credit card. I never received a license key. I contacted a customer support number for Systweak at 1-724-517-4020 asking for the key. An individual who would not identify themselves asked for remote access to my computer. He would not explain the purpose aside from saying it was to "verify my account". During a time where internet fraud is rampant I would strongly caution against using this service.

With regards to the support number (1-724-517-4020) you mentioned, please note this number does not belong to us. In fact, if you search this number online, you will see it is a scam call center which impersonates reputed companies like ours, AVG, Malwarebytes and more. We do not have any telephonic support, so please be assured we have not asked you for a remote session. The number you called is fraudulent. Please do not fall for such scams.
