I was intrigued to get my colour pallette done and after some thought, I found Emily and thought the price was reasonable so I went for it. At first (not Emily's fault) I was horrified to be assigned summer, how do you wear pink and other soft colours without looking childish? but the Facebook group and Emily's posts on instagram have been so helpful. I've since made big changes to what I wear and I feel great and much more confident in myself and my choices. I went back for the makeup mini shop and would definitely recommend Emily and her service to friends.

Everything made it great Emily is lovely and gave me so much advice. Since finding out my palette and shape i have gained so much confidence and found it easier when shopping before my analysis i would always cover up in black but rarely wear it now. I also joined up to the course and found it fantastic at putting outfits together and helped at working on myself.

Emily was so helpful and responsive in her Facebook group before I even spent a penny on any services. I realised that SMH is not just a business with the bottom line in mind. Emily is genuinely committed to make people feel and look better. I booked an analysis after a while and it has changed my life. And her Facebook group is 100 % the best group I’m in, not only the content and seeing all the fabulous outfits but ladies lifting each other up. I can’t even remember how I came across SMH but one thing is certain - I am glad I did!

I've had both a colour and body analysis, in which I suspected I knew my season and shape but wanted confirmation from a professional. It was so easy to do online and Emily was spot on. The information provided was useful and comprehensive, and the colour analysis upgrade well worth the money. I want to be less wasteful with my clothes and ensure that the things I do buy are right for me, and my analysis has been great for that. I can see how much better I look when I dress for my shape and season.

I love that the colour analysis was so in depth and included makeup and hair colour. Although I never needed to, I know that Emily is available to discuss any concerns you have post analysis. I’ve found myself shopping with more purpose as I know what colours to go for which makes picking out outfits easier and shopping fun again.

Prior to Emily's help I bought soooo many clothes, and most of them didn't suit my colouring. It's enabled me to cut down on what I buy and enjoy wearing things on repeat as they make me feel good. Not just that but I had no idea about foundation as I knew as much about my undertone as I do brain surgery. Simply put, using SMH has made my life a bit easier, and given me a bit more confidence in my choices. I would recommend SMH to anyone.

I finally took the plunge and had a colour analysis, after 4 years of lurking on the Facebook community page for the service (my favourite page on Facebook I might add, interactive, kind inclusive members helping with recommendations, and zero trolls tolerated). I expected to be a spring or summer, but turned out to be a muted autumn after all! Admit I was initially dissapointed as I preferred wearing brights and pastels before, but I could see almost instantly after my colour analysis how brights or pastels did zero for my natural colouring and how I needed the warm earthy tones to make me shine!
The analysis itself is very thorough over several pages, with colour chart spectrum and your most complimentary colours and combinations included, it even includes whether silver or gold jewellery looks best on you, and what make up shades bring out your features more.
I started small and reluctant in just some tops (closest to my face) in my recommended shades, and got compliments to say how healthy and glowing /radiant/well put together I look! I could then see how my old clothes colours just washed me out!
I eventually flogged my old coloured clothes on vinted and replaced with my most harmonious shades as suggested in the colour analysis visuals.
