Unhelpful and dismissive

I purchased the premium guarantee on my car with Stratstone, with this I was told I could get my car repaired at any Strastone garage.
Staff at this branch were unhelpful over the phone. They kept offering to call me back and never did, over 4 days, clearly an excuse to not deal with my repair.
I am having to take my car to another (much more helpful) Stratstone garage which is over an hour way to get mine fixed. Which is annoying as this is my local Stratstone, which is only 10 minutes from me.

Being communicated with each other at the show room ,to have cars thoroughly checked and anything found to be escalated to the relevant department to be completed and then checked again before being given to the customer I feel I have been let down by Audi and always had Audi Vehicles!

Fantastic buying experience made all…

Fantastic buying experience made all the more easier by Edi our Sales Executive. He was really attentive to all my needs and was very personable. The store is in an excellent location for us, and it feels very modern. They are keen to make you feel comfortable and ensure the whole process runs smoothly and at your pace.

Don’t rely on 7 day price guarantee it’s not worth the paper it’s written on.

Having owned two previous Audi’s (TT & A5 Coupe) purchased from Swansway, the Stafford salesman tempted me with an A5 Avant Edition One in Ascari Blue with sound and vision pack. Went to view, told him to find the same spec in Horizon Blue. I found the same spec with 3 miles less mileage at Stratstone Wolverhampton. The car was £1800 dearer than Stafford Swansway. The salesman in Wolverhampton spoke with the sales manager and matched the Stafford price detailing the 7 day price guarantee. I duly paid £500 deposit and agreed to comply with the dealer’s request to pay the balance before end on the month.

On reaching home I had received an email stating the Stafford car was being reduced by a further £1000. I sent a copy to Sam Shingler at Wolverhampton. He cannot be faulted in any way.

He came back stating Stafford Audi must be desperate, Stratstone couldn’t match the price and to contact Customer Services in Head Office, copying in the 7 day price guarantee saying that was the way to resolve the matter.

I paid the balance on Monday sure that the price would be matched as they had previously matched it in the dealership to make the sale.

Monday-no response from Customer Service. I sent a further email and finally Stacey Customer Service Team responded with another copy of the 7 day price guarantee. Not satisfied by being ‘fobbed off’ I called customer services speaking with a professional lady on the switchboard. She tried to put me through. Eventually after 5 minutes she came back to say Stacey had left for the day. She then left a voicemail message to say Stacey would email me first thing in the morning.

The email came - absolutely maddening she stated that whereas the car was virtually identical including mileage, because it was a different colour the 7 day price guarantee didn’t apply. Had Stratstone said that on the day of the order, I would have walked away.

Question is why did they match the price but as soon as the deal was agreed refuse the revised price.. Why did the dealership ‘ hospital pass’ the problem on to Head Office, when surely the sales manager in Stratstone Wolverhampton knew the terms and conditions knowing it was a waste of time!!!! I can only sum up stating the very obvious, Stratstone 7 day price guarantee is not worth the paper it’s written on.
