Sterling weren’t interested in fitting anything numerous times failed to turn up for measuring
Ordered item to be delivered to be twice and both times they never turned up with not even a message to say
Had to go out of my way to collect window short notice

the worst experience i have ever had with any company
replaced my rear door & removed the door lintle leaving the masonary & first floor above the door aperture unsupported & structurally unsafe
after 12 months, 3 doors & 2 frames later the door is still not complete
after countless conversations & emails with tim (installations manager) my concerns have still not been resolved
I am now forced to take legal actions to claim a refund as sterling have flatly refused

Replaced all windows and patio doors. Helped from start to finish by the non-pushy saleman, the surveyor and fitters. The latter did a very neat and tidy job, even using dust sheets. Competitive price too.

Had a composite door fitted. Great quality & service. Only negative, it is really difficult to get through to their customer services. Despite this I would definitely recommend this company & intend to have more doors replaced soon.

Fabulous service, I can’t recommend this company enough. Absolutely superb workmanship from factory to installation.

We just had a new front door fitted and a back door, both done in less than 5 and a half hours. We have found the whole process to be straightforward. All the staff have been friendly, polite and helpful. The price is less than some other companies for one door. We strongly recommend Sterling doors.

Had a lock failure in front door - rang and spoke to Tim picked up new locking system today - fitting really simple with Tim’s instructions - thank you so much I’m sure would have cost us a fortune if we’d have used a locksmith -can’t fault them

This company is the worst I’ve ever come across!front door ordered they fitted the wrong one a disgraceful figure of a man ‘T**’ tried to say I’d ordered the wrong door I had to send video evidence that I’d ordered a different door he spoke to me terrible,I’d rang the office to be told a date when replacement door was being fitted never turned up to be told by ‘T**’ again it wasn’t booked in wouldn’t of been so again I’d got it wrong apparently yet I recall a lot of information to prove again I was telling the truth .by this time I’d explained my disability I called him out I wasn’t the liar he was and I’d proved it well he began to shout at me down the phone quite an aggressive man when you call him out he put the phone down on me! I’ve told them not to send him to my home again I wouldn’t be sending him to older ladies homes put it that way and he’s management.today finally my new door the right door to be refitted put my ring doorbell back and put a safety chain on for my autistic sons safety as agreed with prior to fitting day NO they don’t drill holes for doorbells or put safety chains on but they take payment to fit them I’m now left with a door no spy hole safety chain or ring doorbell and again ‘t**’knows it’s for disability reasons they were so important I carnt always get to the door so use the intercom or see who it is or maybe record me ordering things incase they lie and make me feel stupid!to keep my son safe from running out onto a busy road but today now they fit neither even when paying so you get a door and letterbox only I’m now left feeling like ‘t**’ has told the fitter to not fit anything to help my disability but to leave me and my son vulnerable says a lot about his character and the company who allows him to speak/treat women this way is disgusting I’m sure by his attitude I’m not the first and won’t be the last so BEWARE! And LIVV housing shouldn’t be using them!

Replacement windows throughout. The whole process from quote, measuring up and installation was great. The fitters have done a great job and were polite, professional and tidy. Very much recommend anyone to use the company for replacement windows.

Recently had windows and french doors installed. They look great, really enhanced the bungalow. Great price. Thanks to Tim who was very helpful and very patient too. The team installing the windows were very efficient, they completed installation in one day, no mess. All the lads very polite. Thank you great job

Over the past couple of years, I've used sterling to replace all our windows & today we had the finishing touch with a new front door. Excellent service as always and very good value for money. I would highly recommend this company.

Previously had a conservatory fitted by this company. Definately would not recommend, leaking roof, poor quality, and drainage done badly, poor customer service skills. Not given any documentation for a guarantee or Fensa certificate. very very poor. I will struggle to sell my home with this.

I have used Sterling several times for the complete replacement of windows and doors to 2 properties and a composite door on another property.

Each time I have been delighted with the results.

I believe that the firm is very competitively priced and supplies good quality products.

Fitted new windows and a front door for us. Fitters were excellent, turned up on time, very clean, polite and helpful. Very pleased with the quality and price of the product. Would highly recommend this company as we and our family have used them before with no issues.

I am a former employer in this company. All I can describe for any buyers toward to this firm.

1. Highly poor environment and unsafe environment.
2. Bullies bosses/supervisors
3. Dozens radical and offensive graffiti in toilet and in work department
4. Poorly and cheap CNC machines that's always breaking down. (That's why most of customers are complaining about their windows and doors).
5. Unfairly pay wages as in varies pays. (Mine were £9 per hour ish, most of them is higher or lower than mine).
6. Filed complaint toward to other employee. But never got sorted as they said they don't have any "evidence" regarding the CCTV in work. Unfortunately, they're covered up for this employee as felt like they're discrimination against to my disability.
7. When it's in winter, they would never use heater in the department. They would use heater in the office only instead of care about their employees.

All I can say is,
Poor management, lacking of leadership and inexperienced employees that they would receive a very brief training. Then becoming clueless after very brief training.

If there's any still constantly negative reviews. I'd highly suggest to reviewer or former employer to make the complaints to Healthy & Safety Executive due the hazardous environments. I'd encourage you to do this if you reading this!

We ordered three windows and we got two wrong. We asked for a replacement and we got a new quotation??? They told us that we we should pay for the windows in full again even when one of the windows should be frosted and it is not and the other one should have two panels and turn round with four.

Horrendous customer service, spoke to Tim who was totally unhelpful and downright rude although my conservatory is out of warranty by a couple of months a repair they did before that is now leaking again was more or less told not there problem.Avoid sterling at all costs
