Ordered a rifle scope and pellets on January 9th. Got a text on January 20th regarding delivery date and time.
Arrived today (25th) early in the morning by a friendly fella.
Everything I paid for was there, very pleased. Now I can do some shooting with my kids.
I know the delivery time was longer than I'm used to but it does state that clearly on the website.

My wife bought me a Remington Warhawk 0.22 as a Christmas present from this online store.
I picked it :-))
It was a great price and, apparently, was delivered on time (so Mrs Santa said).
There was a small manufacturing problem in that the scopes mounts were incorrectly drilled and so wouldn't fit together in order to secure the scope to the gun.
Mike sorted everything out for me and sent a new set of mounts.
Really impressed.
Buy here with confidence.

Bought 2guns from these one was perfect the other sold as new but was used marked and buy the look badly repaired so I wanted a refund up until then no problem was given a date and time slot for pick up and all looked good so booked time off work to be home for pick up got home 9.55am looked at my phone and I'd had a message saying your item will be picked up at 9.50 !so I missed pick up because the driver came before the allotted time so I'd taken time off work for nothing and still stuck with a faulty and what I can only say dangerous looking gun I tried to call the pick up driver no answer I called the number I rang to arrange return no answer and then called the shop and again no answer, I've sent an email to see if I get any Joy but I have pictures and a video showing the defective
mechanism on the rifle and all the wear and tear you can clearly see it's a used repaired gun , but I paid through PayPal so they will guarantee my money back but I can say I will never recommend or use this company again !!

Called in earlier this month, due to Covid entrance to the shop was restricted, a quick chat at the door, I was invited in, good all round service and advice. The information the gave me was spot on from what I had already researched, and I got what I wanted for a better price than I could find on-line - I will be going back

Visited Sportsguns shop in Cardigan, having seen the item I wanted on their website. Having read some of the negative reviews, I was unsure what to expect...

Although access to the shop was being controlled - to prevent too many people being in there at any one time - at least three members of staff took the trouble to ask what I needed / if I was being served, when they saw me waiting at the door. Having explained what I'd like to purchase, once a customer exited, I was invited inside.

The staff were very knowledgeable, and couldn't have been more helpful. For me, personally, this was like 'old-school customer service' back in the 70s / 80s.

Very happy to recommend Sportsguns, Cardigan.

confirming delivery date and time on 4/10.
Delivered within time frame, everything packaged well.
Would order again.

Not sure why sportsguns gets so much negative press, I bought two guns online, paid online, read the delivery instructions and understood that delivery would be 7-28 days. The team at sportsguns were very efficient. I revived conformation of purchase online and Lucy rang to say my delivery was due on day time. The delivery was swift and the driver very polite. I would buy again and I would highly recommend this company, big shout out to Mike and his team, many thanks Tony

I bought a shop soiled gun with a scope it said there was a mark on the stock, I clicked on the picture that was seen in the shopping basket . When the parcel arrived the scope was missing and the gun didn't have a mark on the stock, I rang them ( don't bother ringing in the morning they do not answer) the scope arrived the next day but with the wrong mounts. They had sent a better quality scope they told me as the other one was no longer in stock. I wondered why it was in the picture I clicked on then?

I rang them again about the wrong mounts and they said I should NOT have received a scope anyway! but I had paid £129.99 for a rifle and scope , the rifle on it's own was £99 . This made me feel they were finding fault with me when the error was all theirs.

They also sent the wrong pellets saying they had run out of the other ones , I wanted pointed and got round. The Co was haphazard by internet probably fine if you go there in person , I will not recommend them for online sales from my experience. They didn't send me the correct mounts as they said the order was "decimated" . They have some ironing out to do with procedures I think but they are honest and want to get it right but they are short staffed IMO, 2 stars due to the stress I felt over it.

Sent the wrong item but refused to accept responsibility. They did offer a refund which would have cost us the postage and wagers of actors lined up for the shoot. The item was required for a TV production, we ended up having to adjust its colour in post. I will not use and cannot recommend this company as if you have a problem with your order the customer service is atrocious
The reply just illustrates my point about customer service. They are now calling me incompetent, A check back to their website at the time of ordering (Easy to do a web crawl for previous versions of web pages, I have a screenshot) shows third line down the left side Retay Mod 92 Blue 9mm, not ordered, in the centre Retay Mod 92 Black 9mm which I ordered. (This has since been changed to Black/Blue). I was sent a Blue version as per the label on the box. Rather than apologising for the false advertisement and seeing if a suitable solution could be reached, I was given the option only to return the item and I would be refunded. I considered the lack of an apology and unwillingness to engage in dialogue to see if a solution could be found suiting both parties was poor dispute resolution. After the first post of this review, they called me and again talked at me rather than listening, so I stand by the rating.

Ordered a milbro explorer .22 and despite me annoying then endlessly with a couple questions about delivery times and if passport was a valid form of id for them, they were very polite and well spoken with their responses and set aside any doubts or worries I'd had about reading the negative reviews, it's not an instant reply but it's reply that I'm grateful for. Other then that the price is excellent as they don't charge you v.a.t like pellpax and other sites and with cheap face to face delivery, you can't go wrong with these people, they're honestly fantastic I will be spreading the word!

Update: very quick delivery, less then the expected 28 days stated on their website to which I'm very pleasantly surprised

I ordered a Remington pest controller combo from sportsguns.co.uk after reading their notice saying they were low on staff so communication would be minimal. I was told delivery would be between 7 and 28 days.
I received a message from Lucy stating delivery would be on 13/6/21 between 2pm and 5pm. The very nice delivery driver arrived at 1.40 pm
I had the gun out of the box straight away, was impressed with the scope and scope mounts and the padded bag.
I sighted the scope that afternoon (yes, i missed most of the England match..) and am now hitting targets with a spread of a two pence piece regularly. The gun is my first, and i am very impressed with the gun, the accessories and the service and price from sportsguns.co.uk Thanks guys, i will buy from you again…

Communications are very poor. I cancelled my first order after 3 weeks went by without any kind of communications regarding its progress - even after I had emailed about it. I'd paid through PayPal so a refund was guaranteed.

After cancelling, they got in touch with me and said they were short-staffed due to lockdown. I mean, lockdown is affecting everyone but every other site I've bought from has managed to maintain communications with customers so I'm not sure that's really a solid excuse.

Their prices are very competitive though, and the delivery service they provide means you don't need to be extorted by a gun shop in order to get your hands on your item. This is great and I wish other such sellers offered the same thing. For this service alone, I decided to give them another go.

I ordered a Nomad ii portable compressor and a PCP air pistol. When they arrived, the Nomad had a part missing and the gun failed to charge for an unrelated reason.

SportsGuns didn't know whether the Nomad was meant to include the part that I said was missing (a quick-release adaptor that is necessary when using the blanking plug and quick-release probes, even though it's included in the photos of the parts on every product listing) and they referred me to the distributor. On the gun, they implied I wasn't charging it properly because the one they had in the shop charged fine. This after I had explained the hissing noise coming from the probe during charging and the fact that the rubber seals on the probe were flush with the metal and not proud as they should be.

And all this was on my 4th call attempt with all the other calls failing to be answered. 2 emails sent in the meantime were also unanswered.

Eventually they offered to send me a new probe, but I'd already ordered replacement seals from eBay that were purposefully a little larger than stock since this was a known issue: or at least, known to everyone apart from SportsGuns.

The delivery service is great and the prices are good, so I think if you're ordering something that simply cannot go wrong then it's a decent option. But if you're ordering something that comes with even a remote possibility of going wrong, you need to ask yourself if having a tough time getting through to someone, and even when you do, speaking to someone who doesn't seem to understand the products that they are selling, is worth it. In some cases it will be, in others it won't.

I was unsettled when ordering from them due to the bad reviews but honestly they are amazing and I will be spreading the word about them and ordering again soon .

Please don’t listen to all the other bad reviews they may not be lieing but if your being rude to the staff you deserve what you get ...!!!!

Hard to judge as I haven't managed a purchase yet. But I'm not buying from a Company that doesn't respond to enquiries via their chat facility, emails or even answer the phone.

Purchased an air rifle from these people.
After 10 days of no delivery, I wrote 5 emails and called 7 times, with no reply or response as to a delivery.
Was forced to report through PayPal to gain a refund.
Absolutely would not use these people again.

I ordered an airgun but after finding out there was a 3 week delivery time. I called and emailed them but there is no way of getting hold of them. So have 1 start as there is no customer service whatsoever.

Thank you Sportguns for a fantastic experience after reading some of the bad reviews I can only say positive things .I was messaged telling me to expect my delivery from 5pm to 8pm and the driver was earlier and so pleasant and professional, my air rifle is perfect and I would definitely use you again thank you again Bob Mitchell Midlands.

After reading negative reviews online, “after I had already placed my order”, I was panicky to say the least.

COMMUNICATION is very very poor. They haven’t picked up the phone once in the 11 times I called them. They did not answer my emails on their hotmail account until I managed to get hold of the boss via his YouTube channel.

Mike responded not only on his channel but also eventually through email. He told me it went into junk mail. I have to assume he was telling me the truth.

Delivery times SUCK. But.... in their defence it does say allow 7 to 28 days for delivery. I read it but thought it would arrive within the week. Wrong... 2 weeks. My error not theirs.

A few days before the item arrived I received a text message asking if Ok to deliver at a specified 3hr time slot. The day before the delivery they text me again to give a specific time. I appreciated that a lot as I work nights.

The delivery guy arrived at my front door and was extremely friendly and a good representative of the business. He checked my details and waited whilst I checked the item. Beretta M92 with 50 9mm blanks.

Perfectly packaged and perfect item.

My only gripe is lack of comms. Everything else was absolutely fine. Their prices are very competitive and I am sure if I lived locally they would look after me.

I will be using them again.

Judging by the hostile reviews online I think people have to give businesses a chance to rectify things as opposed to knee jerk reaction if they don’t get an instant response. Also being friendly doesn’t go amiss when dealing with problems.

Only 4 stars due to delivery times and not being able to speak on the phone. Otherwise 5 stars.

I subscribed to their YouTube channel too. Hopefully they will subscribe to mine. “Bears Adventures” just look for... Rode Microphone not working...

Bought a pcp airgun NP-500 on sale. Was not sure of buying from sports gun because of some negative ratings but sportsgun proved it all wrong. Top rated team in my opinion. Communication was good, delivery time spot on. Cant ask for more. Very happy with the purchase as well as the service. 😊
