Lost car key replaced
Extremely helpful over the phone. Talking to a person that's not reading from a script very friendly . And the locksmith phoned when he was on his way . Then was sent a message with live location of locksmith. Locksmith was cheerful, friendly and very helpful. Car key was sorted within the hour.

SIMPLY THE BEST
On the 16th after locking my keys in the car and turning to the RAC for help I was sold the cheapest policy at £181 + £11 per month there after, nothing else to pay unless there was a need for specialist equipment. RAC instructed me to wait as they would send someone ASAP with a target time of 37 mins.
20mins later Karim from Somer rang, the only available appointment was the following day and the call out charge was £121. To say I was stunned and speechless from my confusion is an understatement. However Karim clearly explained RAC policies don't cover keys, they franchise the jobs out and thus there is a charge etc etc. He was so helpful and sorted me out in 10 or 15 mins unlike the 3hrs it took the RAC. So following his advice I rang RAC went through everything with my new found knowledge and was able to get a full refund with an apology for the miss selling of the policy, however it was still very stressful and again took over an hour. I then returned to Soter and was booked in for the 17th on the following day, my experience being very swift and pleasant. On the 17th Soter sent a text stating they had a need to reschedule for the 18th, since I was going away on that day and needed my car to get to the airport I rang them to explain. Jonathan answered and again was very understanding and helpful. He reasured me he would sort it and within minutes had booked me in for a target time of 14:30pm onwards for the promised day of 17th. He apologised for the mix up. So given my experience I can only say this company is happy, friendly, honest knowledgeable, polite and competent at what they do. As on the 3 times I rang them I don't think it amounted to much more than 30mins. Its a shame that this quality of service is a rarity in this day and age. Example being RAC traumatised me for 4hrs:- passing me from 1 department to another, hanging up, making me restate my situation over and over, miss selling me a policy, not delivering the promised service and wasting the day so I ended up not being able to get someone to come out Friday night, resulting in me having to leave my car overnight with the keys and valuables in full view. SO WELL DONE SOTER KARIM AND JONATHAN HAVE DONE YOU PROUD.
.....Obviously I have a few hours to wait till the technician actually arrives to retrieve my keys from inside my car. So if my experience of this side of things is anything less than what I have experienced so far then I will edit this review further.

Failure to contact and no refund.
I called for a locksmith after locking my car keys in my car. Had already tried my insurance company but was not covered for this eventuality. The initial call was fine but I was transfered to a 3rd party. Then spoke to said 3rd party and was told it would cost £150 and could I pay now. Before paying I asked how long and was told I would be contacted soon with an ETA. No contact in 90 mins!! Cancelled in the end as managed to track down a spare key and a friend drop ot off. Not happy that this was non refundable and even when I called to cancel, could not be told how much longer I would've had to wait.

Excellent service
Darryl was, understanding friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend this service to anybody looking for a locksmith. He called to say what time he would be at my address and arrived at said time. Even though he had been working all day and was behind on calls he remained professional and got the job done to a high standard.

Mistakenly left both my keys in my car…
Mistakenly left both my keys in my car today and had to get a locksmith out. The customer service was excellent and Alex I believe his name is was extremely understanding and helpful, there was a slight wait as expected but he was happy to keep me updated on Lee the locksmiths arrival and was very professional. Lee was done within 2 minutes and I couldn't recommend enough if you're in need. Not the first time I've done this and they're definitely the most helpful,professional and polite crew I've dealt with so far. Also not as expensive as others.
