I have been using the SmoothSkin Pure Fit for a few months now and my hair is growing back a lot less. I have quite thick dark hair and during the summer was having to shave armpits and legs twice a day, now I can get away with only shaving once a week. Really do recommend for anyone looking to remove hair for longer without paying for laser in salons. The Pure Fit seems to be the most powerful one you can use at home and it doesn’t hurt.
Just have many other have said, my machine stopped working after very little use. I have contacted customer service but received no reply.
Edit: You’ve already got my details as I’ve contacted you previously. Do your job and do find them yourself if you’re suddenly interested in replying.

Activation button stopped lighting after being used few times , Maybe 10 times. Contacted smoothskin.com they offered no advice or help. Paid a lot of money for a product that is going in the bin.

I have been using this device for months. I had such high hopes, gave up waxing and began shaving as instructed. The hair in those areas grows back thicker and faster than ever before. My top lip is an absolute disaster. It has destroyed my confidence and wasted my time and money. I have never been so disappointed with a product in my entire life. Wow they should be ashamed of themselves.

Can’t find receipt. Customer services automatically said no to a replacement even though they offer a 2 year guarantee & replacement if no results after 12 weeks. Rubbish product & waste of money!! Can’t even get a replacement to see if mine was just faulty. Not impressed!!
Please just give this a steer, complete waste of money, broke after a few months, the white light just will not turn on, it's stuck on red or no light

Bought the Smoothskin Pure device for £199.90p in December. They offered a 3 month money back guarantee so towards the end of the 3 month mark, I contacted customer service to say I wasnt happy with the results. They advised me to try the multiple-passing method and agreed to extend the money back guarantee another 4 weeks. I agreed but still didnt get the results I was hoping for. The entire process of communicating back and forth before they finally agreed to accept my return took around a month as I was getting very slow email replies. After that month, I had received a return label and sent my device off. They went through all the questions with me and eventually confirmed they had received my device a few days later. They told me I would get my refund within "5-7 working days" and that started a never-ending battle of trying to get my money back. I sent back my device in June, and obviously we're now in October. I sent countless emails, I phoned up and kept getting told someone will contact me to resolve this but no one ever did (they say it usually takes a day or two and I always gave it 4-5 days before phoning up again so I think I was more than patient). I spoke to multiple people on their live chat just to be told the same thing. I even went out of my way to email the manufacturer (Cyden) and was ignored, I also phoned them and was basically sent away and told there was nothing they could do. So I ended up with no device and no refund. I threatened to take legal action and received what seemed like an automated response which read along the lines of "Thank you for sending over your details.." (the same email I received approx 10 times before). I finally received my refund a few days ago. A refund that was supposed to take "5-7 working days" took 6 months. 6 months of me having to basically harass them to get my money back. They also tried to make the entire process very difficult by asking for evidence and proof of purchase in multiples (I sent over a screenshot of my order confirmation from the Boots app with all my details below) and they were still asking for the confirmation email aswell. I explained I deleted the email because my order confirmation was on the app which they eventually accepted as reasonable but you could tell they were trying to do everything in their power to be able to refuse my refund. They refunded me £199 only. The 90p may seem like nothing but if you take into consideration all the people who have been in the position of only receiving partial refunds, you can see how this company makes their profit. The refund on my bank statement showed up as 'Cyden' so they definitely could've looked into this issue when I initially phoned up but lied and said they couldnt. They're nothing but thieves. Dont waste your time or money because you'll just end up in a battle like I did. From the other reviews I've read, I can see that many people havent received a refund at all so its definitely not worth the gamble.
It is not the real deal. I sent it back to Shavershop. I bought it to stop shaving but it recognised my face randomly, sometimes it could or not. I bought a Braun and it works accurately as a Swiss click.
Cheapest made product. Also a scam. I returned the product after spending $69.00 and they refunded me only $28.00. It's a scam because they know their product is useless but when people return the product I'm sure they resale it again for $69.00. Worst company to deal with.. If you want to order read the refund policy and all the reviews.
I bought the bare+ IPL in preparation for surgery later in the year. I bought it in April hoping I would be slightly less hairy in time for my surgery in September. I have used it according to instructions without fail every damn week and the hairs are exactly the same.
It also hurts more than you expect it to. It was an awful lot of money for something that doesn’t work and was supposed to save me money in the long run. Now I’m £156 out of pocket plus the amount ive had to spend on shaving equipment and I STILL HAVE EVERY SINGLE HAIR AND WEEKLY SHAVING RASH.
I'm going to make it my life goal to bring SmoothSkin down, bad products and bad service.

my laser 'guide' light flashes red after half a leg which means i can't get it to work thereafter. emailed smoothskin asking if its overheated or a fault...got a standard reply of we aim to respond in 24hrs....that was 3 weeks ago. it seems if you have no issues its fab but if you do their customer service is shocking. which is a huge shame for a uk company
I received a device from this company two years ago, when it started breaking down. I emailed the costumer services in August 2020, they needed until DECEMBER 2020 to let me know I will be getting a new device but they have no idea when. It is now middle of January and they still have no idea when will this arrive . Absolutely ridiculous. Would not buy their product again.
I used this machine once. It stopped flashing so I switched it off then on again and used it. The machine then burnt my face. During initial conversation I was told to switch the machine off and not use it again. By this response I was hopeful of a refund! The company then told me they required a video of the machine being used to show it was faulty!! That would have meant skin contact for the flashes to take effect. When I asked if there was anything else I could do instead of burning myself again they stopped replying. Thankfully I purchased this product from Boots so my got full refund from them. Do not buy from this company directly!!!!!
I was really enjoying using this product. Then one day it just stopped working. Took ages to get a reply to from anyone after I contacted the customer service team. They sent me the wrong label to send my faulty product back. They refused to refund me for the price I paid for shipping of return of the faulty product. I've had weeks at a time where no one had responded to me email. Absolute disgrace.
I have only had the ipl about 4months. It was working great until recently when I turned it on and it had stopped working properly and wasn’t zapping. I’ve contacted you via email to see if I can send it back and either get it fixed or get sent a new one. I was not asking for a refund however I have had no further help as I cannot find my receipt.
I bought a smoothskin muse IPL in April 2020 and trailed it for about 2 months and it just wasn’t working on my hair and it wasn’t as I’d have hoped so I contacted their customer services to get a refund within my 90 MBG window.
They took ages to reply to emails but I finally got a return label from them and they were happy to go through with the refund and I sent it back, they confirmed reciept of the item and I then asked how I’ll recieve my money back. They asked for bank details which I provided and that’s as it. No replies ever again. I’m still trying to get my money back and I’ve been in contact with trading standard and financial ombudsman But this I still ongoing. If you want to loose £329 then use smoothskin 👌👎🏼
I purchased the Smooth from this company in March when i plugged it in it tripped the electricity. it is a light plastic piece of rubbish.. i contacted the company who said i should send it back which i did at a further cost of €14 postage.. they claim they never recieved it and have stopped replyin to my emails.. total facebook scam do not buy anything from Smooth Skin also scamming as 5moothskin.com

My £350 smoothskin muse became faulty four weeks after I purchased it. Smoothskin do not honour the two year warranty they advertise. I have phoned costumer services four times over the last 3 weeks and they have promised that someone will get back to me to sort out a replacement/repair, but I have never received a response. I also @smoothskin on twitter asking for a response and they deleted my tweet from their account. So they can be bothered to delete messages, but cannot be bothered to reply to them. Poor products, and the customer service is even worse.
I first ordered the IPL smoothskin bare in May 2017. It worked fine for a while until I had to stop using it due to being pregnant. I resumed less than a year later starting from scratch but the device started being faulty. I just missed the 2 year warranty but decided to message customer services and explain my circumstamces. Even though it was advertised for unlimited flashes, unfortunately it stopped working. After a month of going back and forth and proving my purchase, noone got back to me until I decided to email again. They then got back to me and sent me a short email saying I can purchase another machine. That was it. I found it unhelpful and a waste of my time running around proving I had brought the machine over 2 years ago only to not be helped or supported. Nothing was even offered so I am looking into purchasing the philips lumea instead. Unfortunately, the machine started being faulty and I can't say anything positive on how they handled my case. Not worth the money and its not like their devices are cheap!
