I have always had skullcandy headphones…
I have always had skullcandy headphones in the last 15 years I have never bought another pair, I was brought a pair of limited edition pair of Icon Ancs for Christmas from my husband, they were packaged lovely etc, I had used them around 6-8 times before the right hand side speaker just stopped working, I have troubleshooted it all with no avail, turns out its a common issue with that model of headphone, I thought no drama I'm sure they customer services can repair/replace.
IF you can get through and speak to someone, you are the chosen one. I have attempted multiple times (lost count) trying to get in touch, they don't even send you an email confirmation of you creating a warranty return , never mind someone actually contacting you regarding the issues. to say this is a huge company and you can't speak to a single human being is a joke. after speaking to my husband he said he had an issue with even getting in contact with them when the parcel had originally said it had been delivered but DPD had no recollection of even receiving the package in the first place ?. honestly ive used them for years and I've still had no response from them in the three weeks I've sent the headphones back and not received a single email. I will update this if they ever contact me but I doubt it. I won't buy from them again just purely based on how ass the customer service is from them. shame because they used to make decent products and you never really needed customer service.

I have spoken with someone finally , and they've sent me a ticket for the amount I paid and have since ordered new headphones, the new ones are crusher evos which are great and touch wood had no issues so far, but they didn't email I had to find that code through the chatbot.

Method 360 ANC RED and only a few months old .They were a present to my son and I don't have the receipt which is a major issue with Skullcandy .The earbuds were only released in April 2025 and they refuse to help .Basically you pay £90 and then throw them in the bin when they go faulty .I tried contacting you and can't even get an email address , on your site I get a bot , really not helpful .I can't even buy a spare one to replace the faulty one which the volume has gone very low and yes tried all the resetting etc .VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE .

Skullcandy have requested my contact details to verify this review .I have sent these details as this review is here to stay and is truthful .I will however review this if Skullcandy comes up with a solution , one working earbud is of no use to 99.99% of the worlds population .I await your reply .
After my review Skull candy contacted me and today I received a new pair of earbuds .Not the red ones I had returned but black ones as the red were out of stock sadly .The many bad reviews could possibly be because like me it's near impossible to speak to a human .When I was contacted by a human the problem was resolved fully .

My item came dirty
My item came dirty, had brown stuff at the top cushion part, bare in mind these headphones I purchased are not cheap, so for an expensive item to COME DIRTY, and all they can offer is a 40% off new pair of earbuds which why would I even want to purchase any other item if my item came dirty and used. Then after talking ages to customer service they can only offer a refund in which after reading the reviews about people not receiving their refund, I am scared it will happen to me. So I wanted a refund without returning the item in case they claim the item is not returned and don’t give me my money.
Refuses to refund or replace when item faulty
My Push ANC Active headphones broke after 6 months: one of them stopped making any noise. Sent them back because it was faulty, they acknowledegd receipt and that it was faulty. Extremely difficult to get a replacement or refund from them, they are so obstructive to work with, it's like speaking to a bot who has no memory of what you said in your previous email. At one point they claimed I couldn't have a refund because it was more than 14 days since purchase, even though it was faulty. Under UK consumer law I am entitled to a refund or replacement, they couldn't replace because it was out of stock and they repeatedly refused to refund. The issue was only resolved when it was in stock again, some weeks later.

Unhelpful and unable to interact with a real human
My earbuds went muffled in one ear. And attempting to get help has led me nowhere as the ai says the product IN MY HAND doesn't exist, that they can't connect with a human being and telling me to got the the official website that I was CURRENTLY ON.
As of August 2025 you can't email them. And with past experience, it's hard to call them too. Pieces of junk, I'll be sticking to my cheap headphones, as when they break, I know I didn't expect quality. Unlike these which I've had for about 5 months,
Awful customer service
Awful customer service. I placed an order which was lost by the courier at the DPD depot. I’ve been sent back and forth between skull candy and DPD for days just trying to get a refund for the lost parcel. I’ve raised multiple tickets and never seem to get a response! I’ve tried emailing and the live chat multiple times but no one is helping. I will issue a chargeback if the lost item is not refunded.

Happy Customer.
Although I am a long standing customer of Skull Candy. I'm huge fan of their products... it was a simple inquiry I needed to make, I used the chat live system it was very easy to ask their bot to provide a human to assist me.
I had an extremely friendly customer service agent called Erwin. He went above and beyond...even though they were extremely busy!!
Not only do I Recommend the'Skull Candy' brand, I also hold their custom service with high regard.

Comfiest headphones I've had, favourite tech company.
I have ordered headphones from Skullcandy before, particularly the Crusher ANC headphones, and they have been great quality over the time I've had them. Great quality audio, working ANC and extremely comfy even after hours of wearing them. I struggle with auditory hypersensitivity and find these headphones to be very helpful. I definitely recommend giving them a try for anyone with similar struggles. Recently, I had ordered another pair as a gift for someone else and originally put an invalid delivery address due to browser autofill and waited months for my parcel. This was quickly and easily resolved by the customer support team when I realised my fault, and I am looking forward to receiving the parcel. By far my favourite tech company. Definitely recommended by me. 👍

Skullcandy earphones are great however…
Skullcandy earphones are great however the customer service is not. Incredibly frustrating!!! Earphones I ordered in September stopped working in the one ear in November - returned the goods and everything was smooth. However the tracker is stating not received and there is no way to provide evidence of this as the auto robot response doesn’t allow. We r now nearing the end of January and I have no idea what’s happening. Just need a response or an email to which someone can respond. The automated system is great for some stuff but this is crazy!

Verbally abused in all caps by customer service
Really wish I could add screenshots to my review. Tried to apporach customer serices regarding a very simple issue. What transpired after being repeatedly ignored, and attempts to make contact with agents cut off repeatedly without explanation, was what can barely be called a conversation. What began as an agent contradicting the company's own policies, and repeating nonsensical things in broken English, this quickly escalated into being screamed at in all caps, personally insulted and having abuse shouted at me. When I tried to politely return to the issue at hand, I was getting repeated abusive comments and personal insults in all caps, being told the agent had better things to do than help me. I really wish I could add these screenshots but will instead look at posting these elsewhere. Will wait so see if teh automated response of "please go back through the exact same customer service system set up to be unhelpful" is posted below this.

Bad customer service
Placed an order on the 25th of November and something happened in shipping and it never arrived. According to DPD the package should have been delivered back to skull candy, but skullcandy has informed me that they don't have it.on top of this skullcandy was very hard to contact and has not done anything to give me my money back or to get me my product that I have spent money on. Unless they can resolve this with me I would not recommend them
Update,its been 7 hours since skullcandy have responded to me but i havent recieved any emails from them. I will give benefit of the doubt that they are taking their time and reviewing my situation butan early response. Would be great as this package has been not delivered for over a month now.

Dreadful Customer Experience
Headphones are good, Bluetooth speakers are very poor. Customer Service is non existent.
I had to return faulty headphones, which was an over complicated process and I even had to pay shipping for returning a faulty product. I was told I would get a full refund for the item upon receipt if it at their return warehouse.
In good faith, I ordered a replacement pair of headphones, these arrived quickly.
After ten days of hearing nothing from Skullcandy and not receiving the agreed refund, I contacted them and they claimed not to have received the returned item. I provided them proof via tracking information, they then confirmed the refund, in the form of a credit! This was in direct contradiction to their original agreement. I queried this and my messages went ignored.
Feeling defeated, I used the credit to order product that I neither needed or wanted, headphones and two Bluetooth speakers. These arrived quickly, headphones are fine and are as expected, but the speakers! Gosh they sound absolutely terrible.
I have made three further attempts to contact Skullcandy, with no replies received.
This company is extremely difficult to deal with, they trade in either ignoring you, offering copy and paste platitudes and lies. I’d suggest they’re in breach of UK trading standards regulations, but I simply don’t have the energy to continue to battle such a company! You live, and you learn.
Do yourself a favour, buy a different brand, do not do business with this rogue trader.
Update - 6th January 2026 @1930hrs. In response to SkullCandy’s reply to my review and their subsequent direct contact to me via email, I can confirm that a resolution was proposed by them and that I have accepted this in good faith. I have now increased the star rating to two because of this.

I still have yet to receive an email to say it’s on the way. Tried to contact customer service but they kept saying my tracking number is not recognised. Very frustrating. Really hope I get my order soon as I paid over £200.

Left earphone broken out of the box
I won some Dime Evo earphones in a work raffle. One earphone doesn't work straight out of the box. I've spent hours on forums and watching videos to try and get the left earbud to work, to no avail. It won't turn on with any button presses, but the LED light shows that it is charging when in the case. Looking online, loads of people have problems with this happening and with just about every model of bluetooth earphones they make.
This is my second product with skullcandy but both products have been defective. Useless company.

As per my last review, useless customer services. I had a reply to say skull candy would contact me directly to discuss and follow up on a warranty claim. Guess what?????? I am still waiting. This was nearly a week ago. As usual, still no sign of any update on my ear buds and still no sign of skullcandy getting intouch!! I stand by my last review. USELESS!!!

Bought headphones for my son last year
Bought headphones for my son last year. One of the earbuds stopped working, so I filed a warranty claim.
The warrant claim could not be completed online on the phone as, when the relevant madel is selected a picture of the of the headphones come up and cover virtually all the screen, including the submit button (I tried this on my personal mobile and work mobile). I submitted a warranty claim through my laptop, this appeared to go through, but no email confirmation has been received.
Tried to contact Skullcandy via website, but cannot speak to an individual and could not get any response via the chat page.
Very poor service

Can’t reach them for help!! Scam!!!
Placed order at beginning of Dec and DPD returned to sender. No idea why as no delivery attempt!. Spoke with Skullcandy online (had to wait hours for a response) They gave me a code to buy the item again, code failed and they took it off my Visa card instead. £169.99!!! (Order 404048960) Phoned USA twice today, just kept on hold. Can’t get a response online or instagram. They now have my money twice and no item received. Seems they are more of a scam than an actual company.
