We visited The Park pub at Hillsborough Sheffield on the afternoon of 16th April. We had a wonderful experience, the staff, the food and drink were all excellent. Nat the manager was so helpful and friendly, can't fault the place

Visited The Bay Horse Inn, Cramlington on 13th April for lunch. Arrived around 1.30pm. A member of staff, sitting at a table, who took a while to acknowledge us and then just said “sit at any table”. No direction that there was an app or pay at the bar. After sitting for 10 minutes trying to get the app to work I went to the bar and placed the order - kids burger, kids nugget, kids desserts, 2 crispy chilli chicken on a skillet with chips and then drinks (no receipt provided). Restaurant was not busy. Food took 45 minutes to arrive and the chicken was halomi. Went to the bar to advise that this was not what was ordered. Bar staff (different from the person I placed the order) went to the kitchen to check and then came to our table to advise that she would get the correct order out as quickly as possible. Crispy chilli chicken then arrived in 10 minutes. Staff member also then returned with the kids desserts and thumped them down on the table. When leaving the original server was standing near the door and never even acknowledged us leaving. Very poor service. Will not return.

Blue Bowl Pub Hanham Bristol. Poor customer service. We visited yesterday with my disabled mother in law who was in a wheelchair as unable to walk. If we did not have her with us, we would of walked out. The lady who served us at the bar, was extremely rude. I ordered our drinks, and she then started arguing with me, saying I never asked for lemonade with my J20 which I always have in a pint glass topped up with lemonade. When I pointed out she hadn't put the lemonade in my J20, she said to me you never asked, I know I definitely did, but despite stating that, she continued to argue with me, even in front of 2 other members of staff. WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING.

I ordered my food through deliveroo whom I have placed a seperate review for. I had nothing but issues with deliveroo however Friendly forester provided great service and even recooked my order as deliveroo had taken so long to collect it that I went to collect it myself. I strongly recommend this pub, great smiley service and they provided me with advice to order my food in future through a different merchant to prevent the issues i had with deliveroo.

lovely welcome from staff, pleasant atmosphere in dining area, found out the managers name from the next table, he was serving and clearing up, very calm, even though it was busy, always smiling.
will certainly be back again.

Today we had 4 meals and drinks.
All meals were spot on,my fries came a little cold but were sorted straight away.
Four empty plates later all fed and watered.
Well done to the Grove and all the friendly staff.

Great time at the Tollgate as usual. Service was great and staff were lovely. Shout out to @Oakley for the incredible food. Look forward to returning soon!

called in 18th February 2026 for a lunch time meal
Just after refurbishment.
Ordered Lasagne the meal itself was hot and tasty However the presentation left a lot to be desired it looked like it had been slopped into the dish and had overflowed and run all down the outside of the dish like it had overflowed perhaps when being heated .it had clearly not been checked by before leaving the kitchen.

Food always good, staff lovely as always but seem to be short staffed and working under tremendous pressure. Restaurant really busy for a Monday evening think it is due to Wetherspoons closing recently in this area. Most definitely under staffed and would put me off going back and it is a place I usually enjoy going to.

Me and my friends first meal together in this pub/ restaurant in Banbury the staff was so friendly especially the lady that survived me Tracey. We was shown to our table straight away and the meal was out of this world the nicest stake I’d ever had hats off to the chef. We will be back soon

I’ve been a regular breakfast visitor with my friends to ‘The Park’ on Wadsley Lane, Sheffield for a while now.
Food is quick to arrive, tasty & great value.
Emma & Katie are always friendly & helpful.

Just ordered the burger spring rolls, what a joke I got two of them for the price of £5.99 wtf I’d be expecting more as the nachos are £7 and you get a whole bowl full

Great pub! Always a nice welcome at he Turmut Hoer Abbeymead Gloucester. Great food and great service from all staff, especially Carlos and Jada.

We always eat out maybe once or twice a week and mostly use The Royal Oak pub in Stafford. The meal was delicious and so was our sweet too. What we would like to mention is the young lady called Steph who looked after us all evening by asking if everything was ok with our meals etc. This girl went from table to table looking after all the diners in the restaurant area and never stopped the entire time we were there bringing food out clearing tables and then setting tables up for further guests afterwards. She was extremely polite and did the job of two people the amount of work she was doing. In and out of the kitchen all evening. She even had time to chat to us about our meals and afterwards, made it her goal to wish us a good evening as we left. With the pub industry struggling at the moment, it’s lovely to go to a venue and feel appreciated complete with a smile too and this young lady had it all. Politeness, Appreciative and extremely Friendly. What a credit to the company Steph is, amazing individual thank you.

Went to The Priory in Wellingborough. Wow! Fantastic service, friendly and helpful staff! It’s rare to feel like you are a valued customer nowadays - the whole team (Allan, Jamie, Jess and Grace) went above and beyond. What an outstanding team

Got to say what a great experience down the southdowns, Over 30 of us went for food and drinks and it was spot on, All the food was lovely and great service. The place was done up really nice and would definitely be returning. Good work Chris thanks for making us all feel welcome 👍
