Laptop to the spec I ordered arrived next day. The carrier gave me a 1 hour slot for delivery which they met.
No problems with the laptop so far.

I bought a laptop end Nov 11 for a Christmas present for my daughter. The following Christmas it started to have problems charging. I contacted the company who didn't want to know as it was technically over the 12 months warranty! After lots of debate they eventually agreed a good price to repair, but low & behold the hard disc "disappeared"! DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY!!!

After ordering my new Asus computer it started snowing heavily and I never expected my machine to arrive on time . A combination of prompt attention by Simplyasus and their carriers meant I took delivery and was using my laptop the following day. Full marks.

I placed an order on the saturday. On the Monday I had to change delivery, which I was unable to change it to next day, so I was put onto two day delivery.

My order was not dispatched until the day it was due to arrive, due to it apparently not being in stock (Even though the website said it was) and now it won't arrive for ANOTHER 5 days due to Bank holiday.

Spend more, go elsewhere. The £50 I saved from their cheap prices has been wasted on me missing a shift waiting for this delivery.

Poor service from them as it states they will contact you if there is a delay, which they failed to do.

I ordered an ASUS K55VD-SX494H Intel® Core™ i5-3210M Dual Core Processor(Ivy Bridge), 8GB DDR3 RAM, 1TB HDD, NVidia 610M 2 GB GPU. Usong it for nearly 1 and half weeks.
Its really an awesome laptop...Playing high end games and running my engineering simulation and CAD software really smoothly... The delivery was super quick. I have selected standard 5 day delivery and got it next day.....How cool is that?

The only thing I found as a drawback is Windows 8... Its not bad but ts not great... I wouldn't pay extra money for windows 8....I would rather have windows 7. The Asus Smart Gesture is a bit of a pain. Didn't like it too much.

Moreover, Its a great laptop...and Simply Asus is a great place to buy laptop to be honest. Who doesnt want a next day delivery for free? and Such a good deal...In all the other shop my laptop was £550+...but I got it in £479.99 ....and Loving it... :D

All good, the delivery arrived even earlier, than expected, and the price I've got my laptop for was unbeatable.. Might eventually use them again..

I ordered through Simply Asus because quite frankly I could not find a better deal anywhere...even my tech guy says the laptop is very good. In 2006, I spent £2000 on a Blu Ray laptop with 2GB Ram, Dual Core Processor and HD screen...I was an early adopter.

2013 and I buy a laptop that is 8x more powerful, smaller and 1/3rd of the price!

This is a 15.6" laptop with HD screen, 16GB Ram, Intel Ivy Bridge Architecture Quad Core processors and 4 USB 3.0 ports, HDMI port...and so on...great laptop!

However, when I received it within 2 working days, and even though there was a sticker on the outer box saying it had been upgraded to 16GB from 8GB Ram, when I checked, it only had 8GB.

I made a return order and fair play to Simply, they had a courier here the next morning, added the extra RAM the next day and the following morning I had my laptop back with 16GB RAM.

I cannot fault their customer service despite the troubles that other people have had here and the laptop is sweet and very fast.

I have no problem in recommending Simply Asus but if you are buying a product that offers a free upgrade from the standard boxed unit from Asus, just check all the specs etc when you first get the unit.

Great company, great service, great product!

Edit: Forgot to mention that with all my deliveries and pick ups, I received a text and email letting me know the one hour window when the courier would arrive and they were spot on...it's the little details that really help.

Very pleased with X401A - as described in advert, apart from colour, which was listed as being purple, but a shocking pink laptop was delivered. I don't really like the colour, but needed the laptop urgently, so will get used to it. (Had I been male, suspect it might have been more of a problem.)

The laptop was offered with an enhanced specification not available elsewhere, and at a price as good or better than available from other internet retailers. The machine which arrived is exactly as described. Excellent delivery service, I even received a text on the day to tell me just when the driver expected to arrive.

Summary: I can't stress enough how much I recommend avoiding this company! If you want the hairy details, continue reading.

I ordered my first laptop from Simply Asus which arrived within 24 hours (note: don't pay extra for next day delivery as they only send their laptops with next day delivery on all the options, including the free one). The laptop received was faulty, it was unable to switch on. It was evident as soon as spoke to the phone operator that Simply Asus did not want to be involved with the issue, and she tried referring me to Asus technical support rather than trying to replace a product that I received faulty. I then filled out the 'RMA form' that they use for processing returns, and I did not hear from them within the 1 working day that it specifies on their site. I then called to chase them up and the woman seemed helpful enough ( although she was in no way concerned or apologetic) and booked a courier to pick up the laptop the next day. The next day the courier didn't arrive and so I made another phone call. It turns out that my returns request hadn't been accepted and the woman I spoke to made a mistake by booking a courier. Anyway after waiting for their in house team to deem that my laptop had a problem after a few days, I spoke to a different person to book a courier to pick it up and it seemed like I would finally get rid of the laptop. Again the courier did not show up. I called the following day to find out what had happened, apparently it wasn't their fault but the couriers... surprise. On the following day the courier did arrive and my laptop was sent back. After more waiting, they confirmed that the laptop was faulty, however didn't provide me with any further actions like having the machine replaced or getting a refund. So I made yet another phone call to sort out a refund which they granted, however it was another 10 day wait before the money was back in my account.

They have a very long process for dealing with their mistakes. What is worse, is how unhelpful their phone support is. Please take my advice, it was 3 weeks for the process to be completed, and during that time I really started to doubt if I would get a refund. It is really not worth buying from this company.

(Note: I have now seen that they offer a service for around £10 that means you don't have to use their slow RMA return forms. It really goes to show how this company goes out of their way to rip you off)

From start to finish no problems at all. Fast despatch. Happy with performance of laptop and the price I paid.

Very good value purchase, especially with 12 Gig RAM - no one else came close

arrived fine and on time.....but the a key did not work....will take 2 weeks to check it and send a new one-that was too long so opted for refund.....the pick up process is a nightmare too...sorry we are 5 days behind ...arrange a date ...then rearrange it on the day you have waited in for them to pick up ...then they don't turn up.....every contact has loads of terms and conditions which make me feel they won't refund in full.

Was searching for an ASUS laptop to buy and came across SimplyASUS. The price they offered for the product (ASUS K55VD-SX494H) was unbelievable considering the configuration which I could not get elsewhere.

I was a bit apprehensive as this was the first time I have heard about them. After looking up thousand of positive reviews about them, I decided to go ahead and make the purchase. to say that I'm blown away with their delivery and overall customer service is an understatement.

The ordering process was very user-friendly and effortless. My order was dispatched after about 20 mins and was kept regularly updated via email and sms as to the status of my order. To my surprise, the order arrived first thing in the morning the next day.

Well done for the amazing service guys and keep it up. Be assured that you have won a customer for life.

My ASUS N56VM-S4034V was delivered very quicky even though I didn't pay for express delivery and seems to work very well. It connected to my network with no problems both with Wi-Fi and wired ethernet. The screen is fantastic and Adobe Lightroom 64-bit works brilliantly. I will be doing video editing but have been too busy to do that yet, so I can't say how fast it is rendering HD video. I was disappointed that the keyboard isn't illuminated since i like to work in a dimly-lit room and I don't find the touchpad easy to use (it's the first time I've had one for a long time). I might use a mouse for photo/video work where precision is needed. There are lots of ports (including a VGA and HDMI outputs, so it is very adaptable. The sound is good and will be fine for most vieo work and has S/Pdif output so you can connect to a HIFI system. Overall, I would recommend this firm and this machine. It was an absolute bargain.

Easy to order, arrived very swiftly having been informed of delivery date. Excellent service.

Firstly, to say the service - both Simply Asus and their courier has been excellent. The emails letting you know when delivery is planned are accurate and speaking to the helpline saw my laptop returned to them the next day with no issues.

I went ahead and bought a second machine as a early Christmas present for my sister and, again the laptop arrived within a day which I thought very good considering I'd chosen the free delivery option.

Now to the problem.

The first machine I bought was an Open Box offer (one of the 2% of machines that get returned within 14 days as buyer decides they don't want the item) but I was concerned to find it came to me with a non-legal version of Windows 7 installed.

Tech support confirmed this after I emailed them some screenshots but could provide no explanation as to how this could have happened. Very worrying.

I cant see any advantage in the original purchaser of my machine doing this as they don't ship with the OS software supplied on disk to nick. So, how this happened is anyone's guess.

I have awarded 4 stars as, so far my experience has been OK. I will update when everything is sorted out.
