AVOID DO NOT BUY. Unfortunately the new Shine a Light 75 company behaves exactly the same as the old/previous company. Takes payment and fails to deliver. Promises to priority deliver several times and fails to deliver. Offers a full refund and a free cap case and fails to deliver. Eventually stops all communication with no response. AVOID!

I ordered a cap box as a gift for my son's Passing Out Parade. I ordered in January 2025, and have still not received either the box or a refund. There have been many emails back and forth with promises of delivery, and new stock arriving, but nothing has turned up as of November 2025. Now they won't even answer emails.
It looks like I've lost almost £60, which nobody can afford right now.
I'm really disappointed in them, and would definitely not recommend using them.

Do not buy from this company. I ordered a cap box in January and stated it was for a POP in February. It didn’t arrive on time which was disappointing but it’s now October and STILL no box. I’ve had limited contact by email promising it would be sent out at the end of August and then September but nothing. Very frustrating and unbelievable that this company is anything to do with the military. It’s shocking how they take your money and think it’s acceptable to keep fobbing you off with ridiculous excuses. I have now been promised my money back even though they have a warehouse full of the caps ready to send out?!! Nothing makes sense and it leaves you doubting if anything you are being told is the truth!

If I could give minus stars that would be more appropriate. Do not buy from this company, or the new name it’s going under.. The Military Cap Company as if it’s still being run by the same person you’ll either never get the product or wait months… 10 months so far for me and others who I have been in touch with. Trading for a few years, almost struck off twice on Companies House. Supposed to be changing hands but after lots of false promises, I now don’t believe a word. Warning others not to part with their money. If there’s no stock to send, then they shouldn’t be taking money.. or there should at least be a warning that you could wait a year! This was a gift for my son’s POP … that was Feb25, it’s now October.

This is a SCAM COMPANY. Do not use. They need closing down. No goods. The odd false promise of reimbursement. Lies.
After reading their slaver on their site and information on military connected WhatsApp groups, I didn’t check the trust pilot reviews because their story and site seemed completely legitimate. It’s NOT.

Avoid at all cost!! I have given 1 star as this is the minimum but they are not worth this. Ordered 2 cap boxes in March, initially replied to my e-mails stating my order would be despatched soon, then nothing! They did not even reply to my last email, sent mid June. Terrible company, I have now opened a dispute through my credit card company to get my £109.48 refunded!!

If there was a minus i would have ticked that box. This company take your money when apparently stock is available! 5 months on still no order. There are 5 of us in a WhatsApp group that ordered same time. None have received orders. They have lied to all in emails stating all
Outstanding orders have been dispatched. This company need closing down and investigating for fraud. And they should not be allowed to use our official forces emblems on their products as it looks bad that they sell as official merchandise!! Do not purchase!

Oh how I wish I had read the trust pilot reviews before ordering a cap box for our sons pass out.
Ordered early January for pre order for feb in the hope it would arrive for pass out at the end of Feb. Nearly April and still no case and no return emails either.
Scammed out of £60. Absolutely shocking and needs reporting. Website says they are a naval family which I struggle to believe. Avoid at all costs!

I would never deal with this company again.
I placed an order in November 2023 as a Christmas gift, after many emails and phone calls I received the item in June 2024.
I was told due to the inconvenience they had coursed they would send out a complimentary medal case and would also give me a full refund which they had stated this in many emails.
I received the hat box and the medal case in June 2024 as I stated but when it came to the refund this didn't happen, they told me that refunds are only given at the end of each month, I waited, nothing in June, July, August and now September, one of the staff stated in one email
"AT LEAST WE DELIVERED" I can't believe a company would be so rude to a customer.
They now ignore my emails and have done since July.
I didn't ask for a refund this was offered to me over many months via email but they did not deliver, if they had of communicated with me in a civil manner over the refund or maybe offered a 20% discount this would have been acceptable but this didn't happen.
THEY HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS, I WOULD NOT GIVE THEM A ONE STAR RATING BUT HAD NO CHOICE AS I WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN ABLE TO WRITE THIS REVIEW.

Ordered on drc 23 on an 8 week wait. 8 weeks came and went and still no case to this day .. June 2nd. No explanation given in emails re the delay.. every email kept stating “you’re on the dispatch list for next week/tomorrow” and it never was. Even had email stating they were personally seeing to it that it was being sent that day (April 9th then again April 24th) and again never arrived. Did receive a refund 2 weeks ago when I said I would take things further, so granted that did happen but under duress. Not once was it ever explained why the delay was occurring which may have helped me understand more. Just constant.. it will be coming next week. Would not recommend this company at all

Not even a star worth. Ordered a cap case in January. Still havent received it. Always the same excuse, either they waiting for stock or it will be dispatched next week. Trying to get a refund but guess what, same excuses or no reply at all. Do not recommend them at all. Scamming people out of money as they arent cheap either

Absolutely dreadful company which I would avoid at all costs. Empty promises for 5 months as to when my order would be dispatched. Excuses that their business has grown which is why there was a delay. Today following a promise of dispatch this week I advised them that if they were not going to honour this I would be discussing my issue with trading standards. Their response was an email stating to draw things to a close they will cancel my order and refund me! An offer I have gladly accepted as I have now lost any hope that they ever had any intention of sending the cap box.
This company clearly have no morals.

Scammer who should not be allowed to continue taking orders for goods they obviously do not stock for months on end .
Order placed In January, now near the end of May , STILL NO CASE .
Many emails sent, many excuses and lies received, STILL NO CASE .
Eventually got offered a refund with a free courtesy case as an apology. After many more emails it took another 4 weeks for monies to be refunded (paid by a completely different company) STILL NO CASE.
This company are scamming military personnel and their families .
AVOID AT ALL COST
