We crush, clean and dry the shells into a sustainable, decorative product ideal for use in the garden and beyond. The shells are available in various bag sizes from 1Kg to 800Kg bulk bags. I’ve been ordering crushed welk shell for years and I use it to protect small seedlings from slugs but also as a decorative topping on indoor plants. It’s easy to order and environmentally friendly.

Love the crushed whelk shells! 🐚
Love the crushed whelk shells and this is my third year of buying it for my garden. Not only is it decorative for my pots, it’s great for deterring pesky slugs on my hostas. It also satisfies my need to reuse/ recycle as much as possible. I highly recommend this product.

My secure garden is used by the local…
My secure garden is used by the local hedgehog hospital for disabled hedgehogs and crushed shells were suggested as the best for slug repellent. It seems expensive at first but its actually an investment in the environment and look fab too.
When there have been glitches in delivery its soon rectified.

Quality items, great ethos
Quality items at a good price with fast delivery.
I really like the ethos of using these shells as a plant pot topping rather than gravel, and they look good. My Hostas have survived another year thanks to these shells. I recommend to everyone.

Shellonearth have an easy to navigate website the owners are a friendly and hardworking family here in West Wales. The product of crushed shell is decorative around container plants. Especially succulent and cacti . I am looking forward to topping up all of my indoor plants now and later on when the outside pots are planted up. They create a visual treat
