Gary and Stan made the weekend, they kept us informed throughout and was easy to talk to. Felt safe the whole weekend. The Paris day excursion was well worth it the guide was very knowledgeable and was a brilliant day that me and my daughter will remember forever

The trip was very well organised, our tour guide and driver were lovely, the only issue I had was the fact that our bedroom was at the front of the hotel and it was very noisy at night

Had a lovely weekend. The tour guides/ drivers were excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. Hotel was clean and bus to metro into Paris was easily accessible. Breakfast was simple and adequate. Would have liked kettle in room to make a cuppa. Optional evening was lovely as it brought everyone together and was a most enjoyable evening, however i think the although it was nice evening the cost of this was a little expensive at 84 euros each. The meal was good but the wine was far from the best and the waiter were clearing the tables as we were emptying the glasses and crockery. On the whole it was good weekend

I had an incredible weekend in Paris. Shearings made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Our drivers, Gary and Stan, were fantastic and made sure we were all comfortable and happy during the trip. They made an incredible weekend even better and made sure we had the best experience possible.

Arrived and no porters, the room had umpteen issues and problems, the one staff on duty seemed indifferent to our complaint, breakfast was ok, the shearings driving staff were excellent 👍 Versailles and the Iffel tower were the highlight of the trip. Bit over priced overall.

It was a fab trip the sight seeing tour was great the travelling days from and to home were very tiring its a long day either side but the paris experience was great. Gary and Stan the drivers were amazing and looked after us all very well.

Quality of hotel is not good, no coffee making facilities in room, no restaurant. Check in time too late, is 9.45pm. No support for people who chose not to go on optional excursion in Versailles.

The stay was very comfortable however we were unable to do many of the tours. A leisure day on the Saturday would have been nice then guided tours on Sunday and Monday. As it was we just got the train and a tour bus at the Arc De Triomphe

Had an amazing weekend and enjoyed the trip. The Palace of Versailles was epic and I really recomend getting tickets to go inside. Our Drivers Denny and Niel were fabulous, fun, kind and kept us safe throughout the trip.

The guides were absolutely brilliant. Couldn’t fault them. The driver who did Rugby-Folkestone and Folkestone-Warwick was unfortunately not as enthusiastic and did come across as rude with some severe breaking and gliding into the hard shoulder on the return leg. The hotel room was small but the beds were super comfortable and there were plenty of high quality toiletries. Unfortunately the only tv channel in English was the news but that didn’t bother us too much. My real concern was the area. In the daytime it was like a ghost town - very few people about but at nighttime there were several gangs of youths which was intimidating. The market was a real bonus. As me and my daughter had things planned we didn’t get to do the Shearings excursions apart from the Saturday evening meal. It would have been nice to incorporate a leisure day in with the tour

Had great time away. Taxi & coach transfers excellent from time we got picked up until time we got dropped back off. Main coach from Red Rose Travel was very comfy. Driver Lee & his colleague Dale were very professional, helpful & friendly. Always ready to assist. Ferry crossing going out was great. Hotel in Paris was clean & basic but had everything you needed for a short break although only served breakfast - no evening meals. There were plenty of nice restaurants within walking distance though. Plug socks were in need of attention even trying to use UK adaptors in them - no USB ports so need to take adapter for charging your phone. Trips into Paris were great for whirlwind tour of the sites with a few stops to take photos & a few hours to wonder at leisure. Versailles was amazing with the beautiful gardens & stunning palace. We did buy tickets to palace prior to going as sold out on the day when we went previously. It’s very busy tho so be prepared for crowds. Trip home back on The Shuttle was very quick & exciting as never been on it before. All in all was a great little break but very full on so don’t expect it to be a restful one!
