Our history
SECOM’s roots in the UK go back as far as 1918, when the family-owned Lodge Lock and Safe Company began providing security solutions.

I have been a customer for many years…
I have been a customer for many years and every year I have the same discussion with the accounts department! This year the engineer who came was amazing, he was polite and very informative and told me things I never knew or had been told. He gave me a log book which I’ve never had before, he explained everything. I was very impressed.

Absolutely unbelievable service
Absolutely unbelievable service, not only did they drive dangerously and act aggressively, they then acted aggressively upon greeting at the door. Led me to believe it was a scam, and got more aggressive when refused entry. Unfortunately had to report to the police, I was scared. Charged me for coming out to my property, and yet to be refunded. London area. Keep away!!

We are deeply concerned about the allegations against our employees as this is not conduct we would expect and are disappointed that you were unwilling to share any details which would allow us to investigate the matter further.
We would also mention that we do not charge for a survey and any charges raised would be retrospective once the service has been agreed.

The service engineer arrived within the appointed time & was polite & efficient. He did mention that he would make a note on his records to have our two used back up batteries removed at some stage

Courteous staff
The young chap who came to check the alarms was courteous, generally well mannered and accommodating, the only reason there isn't a full five marks is your company doesn't prebook the visits therefore the poor man had to rush around to get the job done so I was unable to offer him a cuppa due to time restrictions. I would welcome a prebooked visit.

We have been a Secom customer for many
We have been a Secom customer for many, many years and have generally had very good experiences however at our last service visit the engineer that came out was amazing. He was polite, thorough and conscientious. I really hope that Secom give him the recognition that he deserves and work hard to retain him as he is clearly a real asset to the company.

Annual maintenance visit
Sorry for the late post. This review is in relation to our annual service/maintenance visit on 7th April 2025 by Jermaine Stephenson who is outstanding as a professional and as a gentleman. His knowledge is immense and he was very kind to give us his contact mobile if in case we need to ask any questions; who does that in today's era. I must state that the 5 Stars goes to Secom only because of having somebody like Mr Stephenson in your ranks. Otherwise we have felt that other aspects of Secom are quite archaic and having been customers since summer 2016, the annual costs keep rising yearly from a value for money perspective. Thank you.
