Armatures!!

First of, they quoted a very long delivery time for the part (undertray), witch is fine, as long as the parts arrive to that due date.
But when the parts are supposed to arrive, I receive an email, where they demand more money to ship the parts? and additional 60€ mind you. Because they had done wrong measurements on the parts I ordered to calculate shipping??? Amatures!

Quite disappointing to be honest.
Use KOED instead!!

We are very sorry for the inconvenience you had.
But we clearly state on our website that it can happen that freight charges can be higher than first quoted and expected.
In these rare cases you are of course completely free to cancel your order and get your payment back.
How can this be unfair?
BMW doesn´t provide any of their parts with measures so we have to manually measure and weigh all parts and add it to our database.
But as said in rare cases like yours we unfortunately don´t have the correct measurements so our freight quote isn´t correct – if that´s the case we will ask the customer if he wants to pay the additional freight costs or cancel the order and get his payment back. Since we guarentee our customers the world lowest prices on BMW & MINI parts there is no space in our profit to take part in the freight costs.

Once again sorry for the inconvenience and I hope for your understanding.

Absolute clowns

Never order anything from them that's not in stock.

I ordered 4 rims almost 4 months ago, the expected delivery time was 1 month and now they're telling me it should arrive next month, 5 months (!!!) after my order.

They are blaming their supplier and carrier but they are responsible for them and they lied on the expected delivery time, they admitted that such orders usually take 2 months, twice the time they advertise. They don't give any updates, even after being very late. Even after asking them, they can't get an updated delivery date or any info at all from their supplier.

This is a complete clown show. Schmiedmann should be avoided like the plague.

On the contrary, we are doing a lot to continuously improve our customers' shopping experiences. We fully admit and apologize that we should have handled this situation better.

There is, however, some more information I would like to add:

On our website, the expected delivery time for this product is stated as 20 business days. Without it being an "excuse," please note that we mention "expected delivery" because unfortunately, we cannot always specify exactly when suppliers will deliver to us after we have placed an order with them. However, we are constantly working on improving our delivery information, including by gaining direct access to the suppliers' stock inventories, etc.

We ordered and received the rims, but unfortunately one of the rims were damaged upon arrival to our warehouse. We due to this had to order a replacement. Unfortunately we did not receive the replacement.
We have to remedy this, ordered the replacement rim with a competitor, of course free of extra charges for you
The good news is, that this rim will arrive in our warehouse tomorrow and we will ship the complete order tomorrow as well.

We try to anticipate such issues by keeping more stock than most of our competitors. For example, we will keep this product in stock going forward, so we can ship it immediately.

As always, our ambitious goal is to offer the world's largest selection and stock of BMW & MINI parts and accessories, as well as the lowest prices with a price guarantee.

Top-Notch Service and Support from Schmiedmann

I ordered a headliner from Schmiedmann, and since I’m in the US, their team gave me a heads-up that international shipping can sometimes lead to damage with larger parts. Morton from their support team personally packed the order and took the time to explain how it was secured for transit. It arrived in perfect shape. That kind of care and communication is rare these days. If I ever need Euro-spec parts I can’t find stateside, Schmiedmann will be my first stop.

Don't think this site is legit

Don't think this site is legit. Made an order 2 months ago. I havent got it yet. They said smth about the invoice is incorrect and the package was returned from the customs, but this is not my fault that you cant write an invoice. It would be all good if they just sent me another package, but no ...I have to wait till it returns (the delivery didnt even got to my country) and only after that they will sent it again.
Never by from them again and dont recommend

Great service and int'l shipping

Great service, communication and response time. Depends on the item but very good prices on BMW parts with international shipping. My items arrived in South Korea in 3 days after items were ready. Int'l shipping can be more expensive (than buying from US) but if you have enough items to buy you can find great deals here.

Schlecht schlecht schlecht !!!

Meine Bestellung wurde 2 mal verschoben. Nach total 6 Monaten habe ich das falsche Produkt erhalten, obwohl ich noch zusätzlich ein Mail geschrieben habe, dass Sie die Lieferung prüfen sollten, bevor sie es abschicken !! Extreme Enttäuschung - bestelle nie wieder etwas !!

I am sorry for your shopping experience by us, this is not intended. We have a reputation for good customer service.

To our defence I would like to mention, that we actually did send you an email, explaining that the product was delayed and changed and asking you, if you wanted to cancel the order. You never replied to this.

We try to have as many products as possible available in our warehouse in order for our customers not to have to wait, but sometimes our suppliers, even though they normally are reliable cannot deliver on time. We are of course sorry for that.

Købte et led pæresæt H7

Købte et led pæresæt H7. Den ene pære var defekt ved modtagelsen. Det var kun den ene pære der lyste. De nægter at erstatte varen med en ny, og de er ligeglade med at de har en forpligtigelse til at bytte varen ifølge garantien. Klager nu til forbruger rådet, også selvom om det kommer til at koste mig mere end hvad jeg gav for pærerne. Det er nu en principsag.
Så hold jer laaaaangt væk fra det skod firma, de kender simpelthen ikke til købeloven

I've been waiting for delivery for more…

I've been waiting for delivery for more than a month.
Delivery dates are constantly being postponed. And on the website there is not even an option to cancel the order and get a refund. Terrible service

We are in communication with you to see if we can find an alternative. The product is a French quality item, but the supplier has failed us in this case due to a high workload. You have as well the possibility to contact us by phone or email for a cancellation of you order.

Good products, bad communication

Schmiedmann’s products are of good quality once they arrive, but unfortunately, the communication and customer service could be much better. After placing my order, I had to reach out multiple times without receiving a response or clear updates. One item was supposed to take two weeks but ultimately took two months to arrive. Only after persistent follow-ups was I informed that my items were finally ready to be shipped. It seemed like they were in stock but simply hadn’t been sent until I kept asking. Faster responses and better communication would have greatly improved the experience.

Increase shipping charges after the order is placed!

Upate: Schmiedmann reached out to me to explain why the shipping charge had increased so much after I placed the order. While unfortunate I understand why it happened. They also offered to reduce the shipping charges by repackaging the items but I decided to leave it as it. I do appreciate them reaching out.

Very disappointed with my latest order because Schmiedmann changed the shipping charge after I had placed the order. I placed on order for two items on September 10th and was quoted a price for shipping. My credit card was charged and I was told it would be 20 working days. Then on September 27th I get an email saying the shipping was much more (US$50) and that I would have to pay the extra amount before my order would be shipped. Seems dishonest to me.
