Very good competitive travel insurance quote, much cheaper than Allclear

We have pet insurance with Sainsbury’s bank. On renewal new quote was cheaper than the renewal amount. We called assuming they would match this but instead we were advised that we had to cancel the exciting policy and take out a new policy to get the lower price ! Seems a bit of a long way round to me…

Sainsburies bank holiday insurance as been brilliant so easy to set up even for a couple like us in our 70 s and a great price.

Very easy to use and provided sufficient information to make informed decision.

The set up process was quick and easy. I was able to find the best package for my needs.
Although I didn't have to make a claim the information provided was easy to follow in the event I needed to.

Good coverage, good value, easy to book. Says it all really!

I. Made a claim as I had to cancel. Y holiday as I have been diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. The process was very stressful and despite being told claim would be settled quickly it too 8 to 9 weeks. The complaints department agreed it was too long and offered £50 compensation in 15 business days it too 7 weeks and another phone call to get settled. I will not be renewing with Sainsbury's again.

first time experience making a claim to be rejected.
she had a small lump, which was the size of a pimple for about three years, with no issues, not growing and was floating, so vet said just leave it and monitor, post kennel holiday this year it grew so vet to remove it, nothing drastic, non cancerous lump, £600, put a claim in and it was rejected... because we knew she had a small lump.
they are happy to take over £100 a month for two dogs, but not pay. policy cancelled next renewal date

Very disappointed with Sainsbury’s Bank. Took out pet insurance for our kitten, but in year two the premium shot up, so I switched. Had a call from Sainsbury’s asking me to reconsider, offering me £30 of nectar points to return. I agreed, and I was promised the nectar points in time for Christmas. It’s now seven days until Christmas and no sign of the points. I’ve tried calling, emailing, messaging on their chat - they just keep fobbing me off with different reasons why I haven’t received them. On one occasion I said if the points aren’t added to my account promptly, I would be cancelling my policy. That was met with a very frosty response where I was told they would refer my account to a collections agency if I did that. I feel cheated and lied to.

Review……Premiums constantly going up, excess going up, all the while communicating with them gets harder. Longer waits on the phone , longer times for paying out.
Stalling claims asking for medical history they already have. Waisting my time and not paying money which is owed from an agreement I signed. I have been stuck in this relationship for ten years to make sure my pets are covered. I would warn anyone not to be fooled by getting nectar points . This insurance is not worth it. They still have my old phone number even though on every call for the last 4 years i have given them my new number. They also can’t change my emails address so I have to keep an old one going just for this account. Every year they seem to get more and more unable to do simple tasks.

Couldn’t travel due to falling when boarding the plane.trying to get through to your people for a claim form is nigh impossible.it took 2 days and then you speak to someone who tells you the lines gone quiet.the first one gave up and cut me off but I persevered the second person and have got the form.just waiting for the doctor to return the unfit to fly form and I will return it.not good enough from yourselves

I spoke to two consultants on separate occasions and both were the nicest people I have spoken with while sorting my travel insurance. The lady was Karen and the gentleman I didn’t get his name. But I know he’s looking for a property in southern Spain. These two individuals were so knowledgeable and helpful. Karen helped me purchase my insurance and helped me every step of the process. She explained everything in plain English. I then had to add to my policy and the gentleman was also very very helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to use again.

Very quick, and reasonably priced pet insurance

Had to make a claim they tried every way not to payout in the end I had to threaten with the ombudsman only then was the payment made in full. First they said I only had 14 days insurance a lie then only had £1500 cancellation a lie then excess was £150 per person a lie

Good price and liked the follow up email to say hope you had a good time and trust you didn’t need us but if you need us for baggage cover let us know
