Recognised as the largest private hire service provider in Oxfordshire, Royal Cars have been family run since humble beginnings, with only 4 cars. Situated in the celebrated University City of Oxford, they have been a staple of the community for nearly 30 years. With passion and drive they expanded and now offer the most diverse service available in the area. Currently Royal Cars boast a fleet of over 500 vehicles including 8 seaters, wheelchair accessible, executive and VIP vehicles, something for every occasion. Royal Cars is the greenest service in Oxfordshire with over 70% of the fleet being Hybrid. In an effort to offer the safest service in the region they are in the process of installing CCTV in all their cars. Also, all their drivers are DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checked and have undergone a medical examination before being licensed by the local District Councils, your safety is very important to Royal Cars. We accept all types of work, from local runs to airport transfers to long-distance pickups and drop offs, weddings and occasionally have crossed the channel. Also, we provide Home to School Transport with and without Passenger assistants. Take a ride with the largest, safest, friendliest, fastest and greenest service in Oxfordshire.

5 Star service

Booked at very short notice. Car arrived promptly. Excellent driver. I felt very safe. Lovely personable man. Made the longish journey pass very quickly. Excellent.

Just one thing …..

The taxi arrived punctually and got me to my destination on time.

The driver was polite, smart and pleasant. He drove safely.

The car was clean and comfortable. The fare was expensive.

Booking was straightforward.

The car was a different colour than indicated in advance on the app.

Got let down by an other taxi firm so…

Got let down by an other taxi firm so chose Royal Cars, and the service I got was second to none, picked up on time and when wanted a return journey inside 10 minutes along the car came, a brilliant safe journey home.
Well done royal cars & thank you.
