I’m overall quite satisfied. Price was reasonable and the website is lovely with lots of options. Bed is exactly what I exacted and arrived in good condition. Building it was a real pain (as a single mum) but I got there in the end with help from a neighbour.

I have been quite happy since I have received my child’s bed. Delivery did take longer than it’s says on the website although it has been very much a worth while wait. Building it took my husband a few hours which is said he found quite easy. My son absolutely loves it. We have him set up now with his Xbox and PS5 in the desk area under the bed so he is very happy play games in his room. I thought the size of the bed is perfect and I think we have got decent value for our purchase so I would shop at room 2 grow again. Five stars

Ive given 4 stars but probably would have awarded 3.5 if i could. the bed is good and precisely what we ordered, just as advertised. Sorting delivery was a hassle, the courier they use is not doing the company any favours. Room to grow were helping in chasing the couriers who were slow to organise a delivery date to use (probably as we are in scotland). talking to the delivery driver, i got the impression that the couirer was quite a small specialist one as was also very busy, he siad he had 8 deliveries that day to make. so product v good , couriers average.

Ordered a bed with a lead time, and week of estimated delivery following my enquiry about estimated delivery dates was told there was a further delay. Due to the timescale I opted for a refund. Despite emailing to advise on more than one occasion (being told each time it was being escalated and to expect the refund within a few working days) no refund has materialised some 3 months later. Hugely disappointed in the non existent customer service.

Edited to add that reply sent to the below request with delayed response back from RTG vague and unhelpful. Refund issued through bank. AVOID!

Easy online purchase

I have one of the small double beds as my daughter is 11 and I’m thinking ahead for when she hits those teen years.

Quality isn’t bad I like the storage under the bed and in the headboard section. Mattress is ok but could be firmer for my personal liking. The only thing about a smal double is finding bedding the same size so if u could do more small double bedding ie sheets and duvets that would be an idea

We got the house bed for our little girl and it’s a showstopper…a pain to build but really pleased with my choice as my daughter loves it xx

I ordered a mattress on the 10th January - and nothing has turned up, it’s way over the delivery period advised. I have tired to get in contact with them 2 emails, the phone line doesn’t work and even tried on instagram. Reading the other reviews it looks like people are having a similar issue. I highly advise not to purchase from this company. If I could get in contact with someone I would ask for a refund or some clarification on when it is going to turn up. It’s really upsetting, they have taken money off me and my little boy doesn’t have a mattress for his bed.

I am editing my initial email as I wanted to reply to the response. It’s a generic response and I have received no contact and no email. I have put in a dispute with my bank. If you are a legitimate company please get back to my emails: order no. 1010623.

Wishing I’d seen these reviews before purchasing. Similar to other customers, we bought a lovely bunk bed a few years ago and had a positive experience. I am guessing the business has changed hands because our recent experience has been horrendous. We purchased a mid-sleeper bed November 2024 and a few weeks later were told the payments provider had changed and they advised us to cancel the order, seek a refund, and re-purchase. This should have been a red flag but we genuinely believed them. We have not received our money back from the initial order and it took until yesterday for the second order to be fulfilled. Partway through constructing the bed, we discovered one of the main pieces was faulty and missing all of the pre-drilled holes for assembly. Three emails, one online bot message, and several failed phone calls later and nobody has bothered to acknowledge this massive inconvenience. We are now looking at several bits of wood and bolts and instructions and our hands are completely tied.

EVERYTHING IS OKAY

My wife and I are extremely pleased with our son’s new bed (as is our son).
I knocked a star off because delivery was a little late. However everything was corrected with a few emails back a forth between the company and the courier they use. Otherwise a splendid purchase which I would buy again.

We have previously bought a bed and no problems, and our boy loves it. We have ordered another high sleeper for our other son and till no sign after the time initially advised, nor any reply to emails and the phone line is not taking calls. We will cancel and seek a refund unless somebody can reassure us all is ok very soon. Reading the other 1 star reviews it seems we are not alone in this concern and it would be good to hear back please. ASAP. (Ordered by my wife Hannah Yarrow for your records).

Today (5/2/25) after many attempts for an update RTG have been in touch and say delivery 5 to 7 days. I'm glad we seem to be moving toward delivery and thanks for getting in touch. I look forward now to receiving the bed. Many thanks.

I ordered bedroom furniture over a month ago with a delivery estimate of 5–10 days, but I’ve received nothing. After emailing, I got an apology and was told the supplier had delays, pushing delivery to late January. While I understand delays happen, they should be communicated. Since then, I’ve sent two more emails and tried calling (no answer) but have had no response. Based on other reviews, is this a scam? I wish I had checked before ordering—the website seemed reputable. If I don’t receive a reply or my order soon, I’ll be filing a credit card dispute.

Whenever I asked for my refund they send me the same email ,I am sure written for everyone else,can someone guide me where we need to report them and get over money back.

The bed’s very cool indeed, my son has all his game stuff set up and it’s really like a mini room it’s self. Some extra storage is an add bonus but overall my wife and I really pleased. It’s was quite a bit of money but feel well get a lot of value from it.
