Highly efficient service, thank you

I ordered a Weber BBQ from Riverside as all the big online retailers and my local department store had sold out of the model I wanted. Riverside had the Weber BBQ slightly cheaper than the other retailers and also offered free next day delivery which made it even cheaper. The BBQ arrived next day well packaged. Thanks.

Purchasing via the RIverside website was easy. The purchase arrived quickly and in good condition.

Just have had a very interesting experience with their support. I bought a bag of logs from their website, which claim to be approx 15 kilos. But instead I got less than 10. I can accept that such things can happen. But then when I contacted support they continue to claim that this is ok and less than 10 (slightly less than 9 to be precise) is indeed approximately 15 and even if it is not, then it's not their fault, it is supplier's problem. Here is their exact response:

"Thank you for your email. The logs are not packed by ourselves but the supplier. The weights of the bags vary hence why the product name has 15kg approximately. This is something beyond our control."

To be fair eventually I got some refund back, but I had to insist and they have not accepted a fault and still continue to sell the product on their website.

So if you brave enough to buy anything from them, first check the product, then if any problem be ready to receive a push back.

few weeks ago ordered top soil bulk bag premium screened,£69.+£10 delivery=£79.delivered on time friendly driver,dropped off halfway up drive to save on barrowing.now bare in mind this soil was premium supposed to be screened 850kg in weight,i would say that most of the weight was made up of pebbles,3barrows full of pebbles,not small pebbles some were 1"to 2"in size,took me&my partner nearly five hours to riddle soil before we could use it.spoke to sales they gave us £10 refund as a goodwill gesture.i sent photos ,emails,phone calls,they said it was a supplier fault.unfortunately that didnt help my cause,feel let down and will never use again,if i could give a minus i would.

Website was easy to navigate, item was a good price with the added advantage of free postage and my Bay Tree was delivered to my home within 24 hours of ordering. Very well packaged and protected. Would definitely order from Riverside again.

Ordered a 90kg parasol base. Quick delivery by an excellent driver who gave helpful tips about putting the wheels on. Second purchase from Riverside whose web page on Alexander Rose parasol bases is first class unlike other garden centres.

Easy to place my order. The Four Seasons Chester chair I wanted was on back order but it came quicker than expected with regular updates.

Excellent service from this company . A part I required for my Weber was out of stock but within 3 days an email arrived advising I could now order . A very easy purchase process and the item arrived the following day . I will be buying from here again . Excellent business .

Riverside were very helpful and were the only company I could find that stocked a useful adapter for a new gas barbecue. The package arrived quickly and worked correctly.

Great service - our order was followed up, the next working day, by a phone call and emails to confirm delivery arrangements. The delivery driver insisted on man-handling a very heavy BBQ up the steps to our front door unaided (despite my offers of assistance). A fault-less experience from a firm I am happy to recommend.

Have just purchased a Weber Spirit II BBQ from Riverside, via their website, the modern way! All delivered very quickly & efficiently, with no problems.
The Weber was very well packed & was as expected, with nothing was missing from the box! Would definitely recommend Riverside & Weber. Here's looking forward to a good Spring & Summer for the next 20 years! :)
