What a shambles, wish I could give minus stars.
Communication is non existent. Turned up 1st time with wrong truck. Waited a week for 2nd attempt and didn't turn up at all. No communication explaining what is happening. Don't listen or make notes on what you tell them so you end up repeating everything each time you phone. Don't care about the driver of the stranded vehicle at all. Worst recovery ever (if it happens that is).

Car was finally collected but the driver didn't have enough hours to allow delivery (should have been 1st job not last) so they held it over the bank holiday and delivered on Wednesday, not Tuesday as promised, with over £700 of damage to the front bumper and wing. When I rang the customer services manager he denied the damage, said they had photos to prove it. I sent photos of the car being collected then after delivery and damage is easy to see. A week later I still haven't heard from them.
They just get worse.

Dreadful service - we got dropped off at Tibself service station and was told to wait for another recovery truck. We were promised a recovery at 9pm, nothing, 10pm nothing. Eventually after 6 hours we were picked up. I made 10 calls within this 5 hours and each time was told 15-20 mins, they lied and kept putting me off. Very rude staff when I mentioned parents needed medication and kids were very upset, no consideration at all from them and simply didn't care.
Stay away from these people and the AA should not be relying on this company.

Richford Motors saved the wife's holiday. They brought the car back home after it wouldn't start, the service was impeccable and in particular the driver Luke was a star (oh and the car started for him when he parked it!!! wth).

The time it took to get to us and the tenacity of the mechanic to get the job done was second to none , not straight forward but could easily have phone for a recovery truck instead of sticking to the job, blow out on m1 in a motorhome

Broke down nr Newark last night. Upon arrival Richard quickly and efficiently loaded the car onto the truck. He was polite and ensured my family was comfortable for the long journey home. Wouldn't recommend breaking down, but whole heartedly recommend Richard and Richford Motor Services.

Very professional company used threw green flag they sent out one of there technicians who was brilliant and helped my partners mom in recovering her car back to the garage she bought it from so would like to personally thank Ethen and green flag for there help today in sending this company out I really do recommend and appreciate them for there help

Many thanks to Richard for coming out in good time for my stranded Mother who had a puncture in her Kia Sportage.
He was very polite and helpful and took us both and the car to our chosen tyre supplier.

Booked a call with RAC and unbeknowingly they ordered a direct recovery without diagnostic, Andy from Mansfield was an hour earlier than RAC advised, helped us to diagnose the issue so we can effect a repair, and got us home smoothly and safely, absolutely lovely guy and great service. Many thanks

RAC handed me over to richford motors as they were too busy. Overall I had waited around 8 hours for this third party "recovery company" for them to turn up tell me that their winch is broken???

THEN THEY CALLED RAC AND TOLD THEM I WAS A RUDE CUSTOMER SO THEY LEFT ME???

The driver was very polite and helpful today and delivered me back home safe and sound. Thank you.

Had Lewis Smith from Leicester depot recover my Jeep this evening, an absolute credit to the company. Very polite and professional, and was extremely helpful

I broke down on the M1 100 miles from home. 18/07/26. Female on own. Have RAC cover. 5.30 phoned them. Everything took time but in a safe place so not unduly worried. Ethan from Richford Motors came and was taking me as per RAC instructions to Woodall services. Got there and he was told to take me to Goole services. 40 mins from home.
He tried to find out how long I would have to wait but no joy so I rang the RAC who hadn't got anything arranged so I could have been waiting another 7 hrs. He helped sort and the RAC agreed to let him take me the rest of the journey. I cannot thank him.and Richford team for all they did. I felt extremely safe.

We was recovered on the A50 with our motorhome and the lad that came was very helpful and good at his job , he was very chatty and respectful of our vehicle. Couldn't have been in better hands

Absolutely shocking communication from this depot. My car was recovered by police instruction with zero paperwork given and no information on what I'd need to collect it. Turned up after paying for a taxi, only to be told on arrival I'd need to wait another hour and bring my V5C logbook - something nobody had mentioned beforehand. Had to pay for a second taxi home and back just to get it. When I called to ask for a rough collection time, I was told they were too busy to give one, then flatly lied to and told the driver had informed me to bring the logbook in advance - he hadn't. The call was then ended by the staff member hanging up on me without resolving anything. Appalling attitude and a complete lack of basic communication. Avoid if you have any other option.

Had a traumatic evening , crashing my car , then to return and see it’s also been vandalised, Lewis smith came out to recover the vehicle , Lewis was kind and understanding and professional to the end , I can’t thank him enough for helping me the way he did , 5* for that man .

Richard rescued me with a low loader when the clutch went on my car in the Newark area. He was friendly, courteous and very professional. He took impeccable care of my car. I highly regard the service that Richard provided and can't thank him enough for the efficiency in which he delivered me to the garage with my car.

Fantastic service. Our recovery driver was called Richard; a really friendly man and extremely helpful from arrival until we dropped off the car at our destination. Credit to the company. Highly recommend Richford and if you get Richard, you’ll be in safe hands.

Attitude and service is totally appalling, was told 2 hours, then told 1 hour.. still waiting after 7 hours and the journey time is only an hour...

Not the first time this has happened.

RAC YOU SHOULDN'T USE COMPANIES WITH POOR ATTITUDE THAT CANT HANDLE THE WORK YOU SEND TO THEM.

David took great care of my vehicle, he went the extra mile to make sure everything went smoothly.
