I would like to record my thanks to your company for a first class service today, recovering my Motorhome to a garage in Ruddington. A speedy response was followed by an incredibly impressive performance by your driver, Ethan. He was professionalism personified; working quickly to assess the task at hand and develop a sensible recovery plan. He demonstrated excellent customer relations skills and outstanding driving skills during a challenging move. I felt I was in the hands of the best at every stage of the operation. Thank you.

Today I had my car recovered and I gotta say the guy Richard was fantastic very professional, very polite great service would definitely recommend.

Got into a bit of trouble today and ended up crashing into a ditch. Richford Motors was assigned to me and Richard came to help me out. They rang me with a time and Richard was bang on what they said. He was calm and friendly, which made a stressful situation easier. He towed me back and unloaded the van exactly where it needed to be, thanks Richard, really appreciate your help today.

Had an appalling experience when I broke down with little to no assistance from my breakdown service, they delighted the task to Richford who went above and beyond to help, from their customer support team to the two engineers (Stuart and Alex of Stoke-on-Trent depot). Professionalism, prompt and efficient.

Sub-contracted by the AA – promised collections, fake ETAs, and zero accountability Richford Motor Services were allocated by the AA to recover my vehicle from my home address. What followed was a masterclass in terrible communication and broken commitments over two consecutive days. On day one, I was called by Richford and given a confirmed collection slot for midday (12:00). Midday came and went with no collection and no update. When I called them to ask where the driver was, I was told they actually had no recovery vehicles available at all and had no idea when they could collect. I chased this with AA, who called Richford who gave a new ETA of 2.30pm. This time came and went. I chased this with AA again, and was given a time of 4.00pm, which came and went. I called AA at 4.30pm. The called Richford who said they had no idea what time they could get to me, but advised me to leave my car keys in the garden and they would get there at some point in the evening to collect the car, put it in storage, and deliver to its dealership appointment as soon as they open in the AM. They did not arrive. Accepting a dispatch job and giving a customer a specific time slot when you know you don't have vehicles available is completely unacceptable. The following morning, Richford called again to issue another collection ETA for 10:40 and again asked me to leave keys outside. 2 days, false ETAs, and no collection ever taking place. The AA had to use one of their own vehicles. Combined with AA, one of the worst instances of customer services I've ever experienced.

Recently my car broke down on the Great North Road in Lincolnshire. The service that my partner and I received from Richard Palmer, the driver who recovered our vehicle, was excellent. Throughout the recovery process he was friendly, good-humoured and totally professional, which is exactly what my partner and I needed after what had been a long and difficult day. Richard's calm and reassuring manner helped us to feel much better about the unpleasant experience that we had that evening.

He was a very polite chatty guy who made us feel comfortable for the journey home . Highly recommended.

Technician turned up ahead of time. Was helpful, polite and confident. Took care of car and had a good natter on the recovery journey.
My wife said she would have been comfortable even if she had been on her own.

Broken down and Richard from Richford Motors managed to get the car onto the lorry even though the car would not turn on. Top class service.

My cars clutch went on a 50 mph country lane with nothing but wood area - quite a scary experience and dangerous
Green Flag advised Richford would be towing my car
They called me to get some details and were understanding (I didn’t catch the guys name on the phone as I was in a bit of a panic)
Victor (this is the name given on the system by Green Flag so I hope that’s correct) came within 2 hours - which is so good considering after work traffic !
He made me feel very safe and took me home in no time
My policy (from GF) didn’t cover all the way home - but I was only charged a £65.50 additionally by Richford - which is amazing considering where I was coming from and going to
I couldn’t be more grateful for Victor for getting me home safely and providing advice
He made me feel so comfortable and we had a good chat about his many cars - I felt like I learnt a lot !!

I am a motability customer and following a RTC on Wednesday 16th September and reporting it to my insurance the insurance company referred me to the RAC to have my car recovered but when the patrol got to the location it was found the the couldn't recover me as it required specialist equipment so at approximately 4pm I received a call to say the recovery had been passed to Richford Motor Services to recovered my car and they would arrive at 6pm which did not happen so the following day I contacted my insurance who passed me back to the RAC to investigate and I would get a call to discuss which never arrived so I phoned the RAC again the following day and was told they would be there early afternoon again no show and this patten of events has been going on now for a week and my car is still where the RTC happened with no telling when it will be recovered which I find diabolical as being a disabled person I rely on my vehicle on a daily basis. I have only given them 1 star as it is the lowest that can be given. If you break down and want a reliable recovery service don't rely on this company. If I don't get any satisfaction in the next 24hrs I will be taking it further.
I get the feeling their attitude is its only a mobility car so it doesn't matter when we recover it

We got collected by Ash from thw Derby depot last night and I can't praise him enough. He was polite and worked really quickly and transported our car with great care and consideration, I cant thank enough.
