I ordered a laptop for my new business. I was excited to be making this purchase as it's one of the "fun" expenses for a new business owner.

After placing my order and having my money debited, I received no confirmation of order or a receipt. I phoned up and was told that their automated receipt emails are down right now but my order has been received and I will receive my laptop in the next few days.

A few days pass, and I have not received a receipt but my laptop has at least arrived. Unfortunately the laptop will not turn on. I plugged it in and it turned on but the battery will not hold a charge. This was then on charge for the next 13 hours but still not even 1 percentage point gained.

Multiple calls, emails, and promises to make good but nothing but air.

Still not received a replacement battery, still not received a receipt.

We are now issuing chargeback with our credit card supplier.

Avoid this seller, it's just not worth the gamble. Especially if you're not paying by credit card, as you'd have no recourse whatsoever.

I decided to buy a "new" laptop from Refurbished Laptops as I prefer to spend my money with smaller Businesses. It's "new" to me as it's a replacement for an 11 year old laptop that just about works. I called Sam, went through what I wanted, we agreed the model and a few days later my "new" Dell arrived. Tip-top condition, absolutely brilliant, better than I thought and loads of bubble wrap as a bonus!! Highly recommended, I'll definitely use Sam again.

Sam was incredibly helpful with sorting out a laptop for my daughter.

After a chat on the phone he advised me that the laptop I had chosen wouldn't be good enough and gave us an upgraded laptop that better suited my daughter's needs.

Once he had finished checking it, it was dispatched a week or so later and arrived in great condition.

Sam always got back to me after I called him and was very helpful and polite.

Fantastic service and superb products. He really went out of his way to get me sorting in the timeframe I needed.

My Son needed a new laptop for college but I had no idea what spec was required, so I spoke to Sam at refurbished laptops and reeled off a list of programmes to him which my son wanted to install on it. Sam was then able to have a look and find me a laptop that matched the requirements. Even though Sam said he was extremely busy and may be a few days before he could dispatch it still arrived very quickly and my Son is happy 😊....thank you Sam for your help.

Bought laptop several months ago. A problem arose with the audio driver, common enough in Windows. After several attempts to resolve myself, one email to Refurbished Laptops and the problem was sorted. Quick, efficient, sorted.

Great value for money and excellent customer service

I was very pleased with the purchase of my laptop as it was a good price the company was very polite and helpful with such a fast delivery and any queries that I needed with along the purchase I would tell other people about them

All seemed good until i received the laptop, battery didn't stay in place and didn't charge, if they were truly refurbished this would have been picked up.
when i reported it was promised a battery would be sent next day, no battery after 5 days, phoned to be told they were waiting for a battery to come in. At this point a requested a full refund as per their their 30 day money back guarantee...Promised a returns label would be sent. Still have the faulty laptop as they don't answer any emails, let the phone ring out .
So they don't live up to the statement's on the website, so you take the chance if all goes well you get a working laptop, but if anything goes wrong you get ignored in the hope you go away. If the promise of a 30 day money back and laptops extensively tested is not adhered to i would guess all the other statements will be the same.

My previous small touchscreen laptop did not have the memory to allow updates and needed to be replaced. Having recently read an article in Computeractive magazine advising to consider purchasing refurbished laptops etc. I searched for what I wanted. As is often the case I could not find the spec that I wanted. However, having found Refurbished Laptops website and phone number I spoke with Sam who was more than helpful. I told him what I wanted and how much I wanted to spend. Sam not only provided exactly what I wanted but purchased a stylus to go with it and over a hundred pounds below what I was prepared to spend. When it arrived it all works splendidly and I am really pleased with the service provided. Sam even phoned a week later to ensure everything was working well. A service I have never had when buying new computers. Thank you Sam.

After debating my options to replace my ageing laptop, I looked at a refurbished laptops which allowed me to have in budget a better Laptop at an affordable price. A chose Refurbished Laptops to supply. I received my Refurbished laptop and I am happy with my purchase.

I will comment that the Laptop was received a little later than expected, but Sam kept me informed throughout. The reason for the delay was due to requiring new parts to bring up to specification. Due to the delay as way of compensation he installed Office free of charge.

I would recommend using Refurbished Laptops as an option for anyone trying to keep up with technology on a budget

I eventually had to bite the bullet and get a replacement laptop as mine was so old it was no longer recognised.
I went to Refurbished Laptops and ordered a Lenovo. After a couple of days Sam called me to say that the one I ordered had a defective screen and I could either wait for a replacement or have a newer Dell for the same price. I decided on the Dell and, as promised, it arrived the very next morning. The courier arranged a 1 hour delivery slot and it arrived exactly as promised.
Refurbished Laptops come highly recommended.

My experience with Refurbished Laptops was very positive. I ordered a Lenovo X1 carbon with a 5th generation i7, and the processor was upgraded to an 8th generation i7, with a Lenovo USB mouse being included, both free of charge. The laptop took about ten days to arrive, and I've been using it for the last week or so, very happy.

Got more than I was asking for. Great deal and overall great vendor. Answered all my queries when I emailed him. Friendly and professional overall with a caring approach towards the customer.

If you are looking for something quick I would check with the vendor first before placing an order though.

Staff member able to answer my queries, responded to emails quickly. Seemed knowledgeable and was generally very helpful.

I put in an order for a laptop almost 2 weeks ago. The sellers website promised 2 day delivery, and it only just arrived today. The laptop came and it doesn’t work! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SELLER!!!! I forked out £330 for a laptop that doesn’t even work!
Awful service, and awful products.

Stay away from this seller, I bought a refurb Dell for £300, within 3 months it stopped working, I returned as still under 1 year warranty, Sam took 7 months to replace and also charged me £100, within next 4 months the replacement stopped working, I called and complained, Sam asked me to return so he can fix the hard drive, been over a year now, NO REPLACEMENT, NO Refund & NOT responding to my emails either. STAY AWAY.

Similarly to others, after sending my new laptop back to be repaired under warranty it took 6 months and threats of small claims court to get a replacement sent out!

Both products had problems which needed fixing: faulty harware or software. My impression is that not all laptops are fully tested before being dispatched, or they are sent out with known problems.

Hardly refursbished laptops, more like second hand.

I really wanted this company to be good, but I can't recommend it at all.

Great service. Lovely refurbished HP Gaming Laptop. Just what I was looking for at a reasonable price.

Sadly I repeat reviews below, never delivered, kept promising it, then promised a refund "100% this week" and weeks later I am still chasing. Ended up costing me money as I had to rush buy elsewhere and waste hours of my time chasing him for the promised refund
