AMAZING SERVICE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
I was in need of a laptop and after reaching out to Sam he went above and beyond.
He was able to provide me with a laptop the same day when I asked if I could collect due to my urgent need for one.
Laptop runs amazing and Sam’s customer service and communication is top tier, he really went above and beyond when I was in need of a laptop.
I highly recommend Sam if you’re in need of a laptop as he is trustworthy, has amazing customer service, and goes the extra mile.

I read some of the older reviews after placing my order and wondered if I'd done the right thing. However my laptop order arrived and is very good, no complaints on that score at all. Delivery was a few days longer than the 2 to 5 days mentioned on the website. Well packaged.

had to chase them to even dispatch the order
they offered me a different model of laptop to the one i bought due to not having parts available, which i accepted. this arrived and broke within 1 day of use
having had no response from them about repairs/refunds, i took it to a shop and they told me the repairs were worth more than the laptop itself
avoid at all costs!

I never like to write a 1 star review, as an online retailer myself, I find that many of them can be far from objective.

However I am not quite sure what Sam's business model is, as after purchasing a PC via his site he simply didn't dispatch it after 3 weeks of me chasing.

I spoke to him and emailed him on several occassions (he even returned my call on once) and as many have commented, I was offered many apologies and promises that simply didn't materialise, about the dispatch of my PC.

Whether there is some other issue going on I am not sure, however spending money on marketing, taking payment and then not fulfilling your customer orders, does not strike me as a sustainable business model.

I ended up asking for a refund and reenforced this by starting the Charge Back process, and was refunded in full.

No great harm done, but a real waste of time and effort. So I leave a 1 star review to advise other purchasers of my experience and give Refurbished Laptops some feedback and the opportunity to reflect on how they can change their proceses to improve things for their customers.

I have received the laptop... It's exactly the spec I ordered. I'm happy with the product and I recommend you buy from them.
Sam is a great guy too... He communicates well.

Avoid it! I placed an order and cancelled it because the dispatch delay, I waited for 2 weeks for the refund, nothing happened and merchant is not responding, had to contact my bank to do a charge back, awful experience, I think the good reviews are fake.

I ordered a Dell monitor on 28 November 2025 and was told in an online chat it would arrive before the 18th. It never arrived. I emailed on 19, 23, and 29 December, tried calling but received no reply at all. With no communication and no delivery, I had to recover my money through a credit card chargeback. Very disappointing experience.

I ordered a Lenovo P14s, but the one initially in stock wasn’t up to standard. Sam contacted me promptly to explain there would be a slight delay, and he kept me informed throughout the process. He fulfilled the order with a great product that even came with upgraded memory. I’m very pleased with the customer service and attention to detail. I now have a fantastic laptop that I’m using to write this review. Thank you, Sam — 10 out of 10 for Refurbished Laptops!

Ordered on the Friday and delivered by the following Tuesday.
Slightly damaged, as it was a C category laptop, which I was able to make better. It has been given all the updates for windows 11Pro and also includes Microsoft Office.
I think I have been given a great deal at a very good price. If ever I need another laptop, this is the route I will take.

Laptop arrived with several keys damaged. Not sure how it got sent out anyway.
Called to return, took 3 attempts to get a delivery label from them.
Finally returned it and months later and other several phone calls of "yeah we will process the refund right now for you"...nothing

We have now issued a chargeback

Buying a refurbished laptop from the UK is a first for me. Sam runs ‘Refurbished Laptops.’ The product meets my expectations. However, the attention and consistent communication made my purchase exceptional. My priority list includes ‘Refurbished Laptops.’

The laptops are in very good condition as desribed in the website. His prices are reasonable. He is kind enough to instaled aditional software on request.
I recommended him.

I recently bought a laptop from Sam and all I can say is the experience couldn't have been better. He went above and beyond to give me the perfect product at a very reasonable price and communications were excellent throughout. It's the best computer I've ever had and I would be very reluctant to use any other refurbished laptop company in the future.

I didn't have a great experience. I didn't receive my laptop after a week. They wouldn't respond to my website messages or emails. They didn't get back to me twice by phone. I then requested a refund, which they said would go through in 5-10 days. I waited for the statutory 14 days, but my money wasn't returned. I then called, and they said they would look into it and call me back, which they didn't. I eventually received my refund after making threats to take action.

They need to keep the customer in the loop and actually do what they say they are going to do. I won't be using this company again.

Refurbished Laptops had good reviews and so I put my order in with them. Sam emailed me to let me know about some slight differences in the spec and his communications were very clear.
I live a short drive from the Refurbished Laptop HQ and so I chose to collect my laptop. It was all ready for me and is working perfectly.

Stay away!
Item ordered weeks ago, rang multiple times who kept promising no it’s being sent next day tracked delivery and nothings turned up. This has happened multiple times now! Awful awful company avoid at all costs. Just liars and con artists.

Update:
Again, I received SUPERB service from Sam! 3+ years after I bought a Lenovo P51s and did a lot of travel and used it for navigation on a boat (which sometimes meant rough handling), I started getting getting an occassional "blue screen." I took it back to Sam and he sorted it out replacing the hard drive and reloading Windows 11 for a pittance compared to the cost of replacing the laptop which I am really attached to. Great service Sam. You far exceeded my expectations! Still 5 stars Sam, or more if I could award them!

I just bought my 6th Lenovo laptop from Sam at Refurbished Laptops Ltd since 2013 and the service and price have been superb. All of them are still running although I have upgraded to bigger, faster machines as the technology has evolved. Some older laptops are running background tasks like CCTV monitoring or supporting some kid with her first commupter. Others are used for entertainment while I move on close to the cutting edge for work.

I've never had a problem that Sam couldn't instantly fix and the price is much less than half the price of a new, off the shelf laptop. This is good for my needs, very good for my bank balance, and recycling is good for the planet!

Have been given really usefull information before purchasing . Had a few issues afterwards but was easily resolved with Sams expertise.

Some inital teething problems with the order but resolved in the end and the product that did arrive is great

We wanted to get a laptop for our son's 16th birthday. A quick phone call with Sam and he gave us some options. We decided on one, Sam got it all sorted. It needed a new battery so was delayed but Sam went out of his way to make sure it arrived in time for his birthday.
The laptop is in great condition and has been perfect for our sons needs.
Would highly recommend this business for the personalised approach.
We will be using Sam again for our future laptop needs.
