Disappointed with this place

I find some of the staff here to be very rude and invasive. I also think that the set up in general, a one way road through the entire storage facility, is frankly dumb and annoying to me as a storage unit renter. I also find that the area where you load and unload is very small, narrow, and gets jammed up a lot. and finally, when i was moving into the unit and still to this today, the 7 closing time of the facility is too early for me and inconveniences me

We are very sorry to learn that you're unsatisfied with our facility. The interaction with our staff that you describe is contrary to our mission to provide excellent customer care. We sincerely apologize and in no way condone rude behavior. As for the facility layout, again, we're sorry it's not suitable for you. With regard to the closing time, we did not come to this lightly. After many years of experience, we have determined that the 7PM closing time offers optimal security for all tenants, as no one is allowed to remain on the property during the later evening hours. The last entry of 6:45PM allows our staff to make certain that all tenants have left the property. We hear good things from customers who are happy that people aren't allowed to roam on the premises at night. So we're sorry it doesn't suit you. We do appreciate your feedback and thank you for taking the time to let us know how you feel.

The place is very clean but not enough …

The place is very clean but not enough carts to bring up your items to store. Very nice staff. Need to work on away to help with a discount when having more than one unit and for your proof of insurance it should be kept on file for the office to automatically give you the waiver once you have got it approved. Do not like the fact that they increase the fees every 4 months! That needs to be disclosed up front before signing on with them.

Thank you for your feedback. It is very important for us as we are always looking for ways to improve. I am surprised to learn that cart availability is an issue. We don’t usually hear this as a concern. Perhaps they carts were in use at the same time you were attempting to use them? Nonetheless, we are taking this into consideration. Same goes for the proof of insurance process. We hear you and will look into making that easier. As for the rate increases, we do two per year typically. This is a standard practice in the storage industry. We maintain some of the highest quality, cleanest properties in the business and it is sometimes necessary to adjust tenant’s rates. The rental rate is not guaranteed for the life of the rental and is disclosed as such in the lease. However, we want to improve so would like to look at better ways of communicating that to tenants at sign up. Thank you.

There are pros and cons

There are pros and cons.
Pro: the facility is clean and has bathroom facilities. That being said there are several cons: the most egregious issue is the constant rent increases. Im now paying double of what i started at. They raise your rent 3 or 4 times a year. Im even paying more than a new customer would rent the same size unit. Not fair! The staff cannot help with any issue, such as not being able to link a unit to my online account or adjust the outrageous rent and rental fees.
There you have it my feelings regarding Price.

Thank you for giving us your feedback. We are always looking for ways to improve. I am sorry that you’re unhappy with our rate schedule. We do typically have two increases per year, not 3 or 4. We operate much like apartment communities, hotels and airlines, and rates are impacted by insurance, wages, taxes, utilities and property maintenance. Our tenants have an expectation of excellence that we strive to deliver every day. Our properties are some of the cleanest and best maintained in the industry. I am very sorry that you had a problem getting your online account setup. We are constantly working with staff to improve their knowledge so they can better assist our customers. I simply don’t know what went wrong there. We’ve worked hard to make the online account process a simple one. Everything you’ve posted is being taken into consideration, and we do appreciate your business.

This place is great

This place is great. The use of a truck upon move in was so very helpful.. people always say they have some help and then they fall through and no help; so with that truck being available was a saving grace.

Thanks to Annie and her staff in Santee.

Nice facility

The staff is knowledgeable and personable. The facility is very clean and easily accessible. The prices are a little high, but all in all, a good storage facility..

One of the front desk treated me so bad …

One of the front desk treated me so bad and the way she talked is unapproachable, Its not bec. she is pregnant she will act like that. They should teach every worker to be hospitality.

The staff is always very friendly, the units are clean and the property is well protected and monitored. Would recommend it to anyone

Very clean facility!

Very clean facility!
Great introduction price!
However: the regular prices for units were a bit step, I also did experience what I do believe to be racial prejudices where certain staff members that were Hispanic seem to be more cordial towards White, Asian and other Hispanics yet unreasonably hostile towards African Americans in general!
