Be very careful if buying a pet on Preloved as you might find a lack of care once you have bought it.
I bought a kitten there and was very careful as it is clear that any scally could be offering them for sale.
After a while I got in touch with the seller as I was worried about my cat's health and asked her if any of her cats/kittens had the same symptoms. In spite of reminders, she failed to reply. Preloved claimed to have requested her to contact me but she still failed to do so. I even got in touch with their parent company The Hut Group (THG) and then Preloved claimed to escalate the request but still nothing.
I then found that those selling animals do not have to sign any declaration. All they have to do is to agree to Preloved's Ts & Cs, whatever those are. I have also asked numerous times for a copy of these and still nothing.
To me this demonstrates a total lack of care shown towards animals advertised on their website and I would urge others to look elsewhere. After all, the responsibility towards a pet does not stop when money has changed hands but is ongoing and enshrined in the Animal Welfare Act 2006.

The very best customer service on…
The very best customer service on Earth, absolutely deserve 10 stars, this is one company that has it together, the customer service for any company is important because it is the 'face' of the company. I have used the site for some years and normally everything goes according to plan. Some time ago l encountered a problem that could have caused by anything but Holly and the team were on it within minutes and also messaged very often to ask about any change. I doubt there is any company that would do this, it means they care about the company and the users of their site, it also helps them keep their jobs unlike OLX that over the years has closed in almost all countries due to bad service. If you have a problem message Holly, she will help you l guarantee.

Not being able to log in as usual as i have done for many years i oersisted many times & contacted customer service, over about a month i had many replies from various persons !! all repeating the same instructions ???generally
eventually KATIE told me that due to security reasons preloved was blocking non UK contact ???

Having now spent a lot of time on this & thinking that c/service could renew my listing, HOLLY came back to me to confirm this ! & done it , suggesting that when IT change their mind about non UK clients i would be informed ??? A very non professional approach by PRELOVED & a wasted 2x months for me ,
i joined Preloved many years ago as i live in France & had spoke to various clients her using the web site , so i thought i would try it , hoping to buy items from it ! But the delivery costs prohibited this ,

I have been a member on preloved site…
I have been a member on preloved site for a few years. I now find it a load of rubbish! Why all the unwanted ads popping up? I have now cancelled my membership. Not worth the trouble. Will stick to another online selling site which is very easy to use and NO ads.

Great customer service from Preloved
I have used Preloved for years to advertise the few pets I have bred, and this time I was confused by the new rulings surrounding dog microchipping, but it was explained really well by Katie in Customer Services, who, once I had changed the wording on my advert, posted it straight up. preloved is such an easy site to either sell, or buy on. Any problems, and the reply very quickly, and sort things out. I have used Preloved for quite a few years, and find it is brilliant. Would recommend it to anyone.
