I had a few technical issues on my side and precise were very good and were patient and extended my offer when required.
The transaction was very clear and communications was excellent

So easy to understand and a great service would recommend precise to anyone.

I was disappointed with the solicitor appointed from the provided list. Not very helpful, quite pedantic and box ticking. It made the whole process far more frustrating and challenging than it needed to be.

After spending months applying for DIPs and being refused we really believed becoming homeowners wasn’t going to happen. We then found the right broker, and were pointed in the direction of Precise Mortgages. After receiving our DIP we went ahead with the full application. The whole process took just over 2 weeks. We were asked quite a lot of questions and were happy to answer. I really can’t fault them, yes the rates are higher than a high street lender but we are more than happy to accept this as people with less than perfect credit history, to be given the opportunity to get on the property ladder after losing all hope is priceless. Thank you!

I hadn't heard of this company before but have found them easy to deal with and helpful. Their forms were fairly easy to complete and the whole process only took 4 weeks from start to finish.

I had an extremely frustrating experience with Precise Mortgages, and I strongly advise others to be cautious. They charged me £450 for a valuation and then rejected my mortgage application based on incorrect and unverified information, despite clear evidence proving otherwise.

Key Issues:
Incorrect Assumptions: The surveyor falsely reported that my property was "tenanted" without context. In reality, I had a lodger under the Rent-a-Room scheme, which is fully allowed under my existing mortgage.
Lack of Due Diligence: Instead of verifying the facts, Precise Mortgages wrongly assumed I was renting out the entire property under an AST and living abroad, leading to an unjust rejection.
Financial Impact: Their error caused significant delays and additional costs, including a bridging loan and a second valuation costing £1,020.
Unwillingness to Engage: My broker attempted to clarify the situation, but Precise Mortgages refused to discuss or rectify their mistake.
Their rigid and unfair approach has caused unnecessary stress, delays, and financial loss. If you're considering applying with them, think twice—there are far more reasonable lenders out there. I complained and the person investigating took 3 months only to conclude the same without once checking the facts. I have now began legal proceedings against precise

Initial dealings were with our IFA but all subsequent contact was clear and PRECISE!
Correspondence was clear and easy to understand.
This is our tenth move over 50 years but the first to use bridging loan facilities .Bridging is ideal for our circumstances being able to reside at our existing property while our next home is being renovated.
We were also happy with the pre advance contact.

Truly awful experience. A catalogue of mistakes through the whole process led to unnecessary stress, wasting time and constant chasing from myself. Would steer clear of Precise!

My purchase wasn't the smoothest, with the vendor adding additional time on by amending planning permission prior to the sale and our joint legal team (Precise & us) being shut down by the SRA just before exchange
With these issues aside, Precise didn't not shy away from the hassle and supported us through every step.

The level of delays in getting this mortgage over the line were ridiculous. Your solicitors were very unresponsive taking weeks to reply to my solicitor and then sent the money so late on the proposed completion day, that it ended up needing to wait until the following Monday.

The time it took resulted in the mortgage offer expiring and needing to be extended. This should have been a really straight forward process but it was torture.

My experience was great because for the first time in my life I used a bridging loan and I experienced how efficiently it is organized. I mean the speed of receiving funds to the account and the fast response to the client. Precise does a good job because they suggested a lawyer which also speeds up the whole process because I did not have to organize anyone myself. The documents are legible and easy to understand. I think that the first thing that distinguishes Precise, I am talking here only about my feelings, is the organizational speed of the entire purchasing process.
