High Risk service
This company is great for some shipping and great pricing. However it does come with some warnings and we have experience some issues! ( see below)
We have trialled this company for our shipping operations from
the US to UK. Despite offering very competitive pricing this company is proving extremely disappointing with their customer service, especially
to resolve missing parcels and issues. ( Which saldy has happened too often)
They advise in the small prints that their services are 'not guarrantteed' and keep fobbing us off by saying that they are only the broker and need to contact the shipper to let 'investigate'
We have had to continuously chase their customer service for updates to not prevail.One one order we have been waiting nearly 1 month for a delivery.
Which the tracking showed the parcel for never delivered and yet they have not taking any responsbility for the missing order.
I would not recommend this company if you want your good to arrive.

We can see that today is the last day in your parcels standard advised transit time, we are sorry that your goods have not arrived within this time frame.
Unfortunately we are not the courier and therefore have to request updates from them in order to provide you with the most accurate information possible. If the courier does not provide us with any updates then we are unable to provide you with any further information.
We can see that your goods track as being at the local post office and the courier is currently carrying out an investigation into this. We have to allow the courier time to carry out their standard procedures to try and locate your goods, before they will declare an item missing and allow a claim to be submitted.
It does not benefit yourself or the courier to declare an item lost without carrying out full investigations and searches into the parcels location.
As per our email correspondence we have contacted the courier again today, as soon as we receive any updates from the courier regarding this we will advise you.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Original review:Paid for next day delivery and item eventually arrived 3 days later. Not the fault of postage supermarket but despite promising a partial refund, it never arrived.
Modified review: Paid for next day delivery and item eventually arrived 3 days later. Not the fault of postage supermarket at all and the customer service team were quick to offer their apologies.
A partial refund has now been processed so my opinion of the company has moved from 3 stars, back to 5.

Unfortunately, the couriers have advised that on this occasion the goods were not sufficiently packaged for transit.
In order to try and prevent this we have a packaging advise page on our website which outlines how the couriers require goods to be packaged sufficiently.
We chased this claim as much as we could, however as we had to wait for the goods to be returned to yourself, in order to gain the evidence required by the courier it took a longer duration.
We apologise that a more favorable outcome could not be offered on this occasion by the courier.

I find this company great to use…
I find this company great to use generally. I have had two minor problems in the whole 2 years I have used them. I bought my own industrial scales (up to 500kg) to weigh my packages before placing my orders. On two occasions the courier company have said my boxes were heavier than I stated (within 1-2 kg). I then occurred additional charges. I let it go as the charges were not massive but I feel its a no win situation whether you weigh your own boxes or not! Other than this Postage Supermarket in general is a good company.
