Love the products and my dog gets on well with it. The only issue we have had in the 4 years of buying was that when the rebrand happened we ordered food and it never arrived, turned out unfortunately they didn’t have any stock. We had to order quickly off amazon as the dog had no food. We’ve had no issues since however.

Our dog was on the health and digestion dog kibble for a couple of years and since they have rebranded and changed recipes my dog has been very poorly, being sick and eating grass. Will no longer be buying!

Moving our husky to the dry health and digestion food is the best thing we have ever done for buddy!

His stomach has always been sensitive, but now he’s such a happy boy!

Would never move away from it now!

We always buy pooch & Mutt food and treats, especially the calming range. My dog loves it! Service is always amazing, fast delivery and good prices!

We have a 4-month-old wire-haired pointer, and originally, we were giving him what the breeder was giving him, but the chicken didn't seem to agree with his stomach. We switched soft foods to the same brand, but with lamb instead, and also started him on Pooch & Mutt Health & Digestion (from Amazon, in the old packaging). That seemed to do the trick! His poos were formed, looked correct, and he seemed to have a lot more energy. This was along with giving him a Prokolin paste probiotic and Panacur, but we definitely felt we were headed in the right direction.

Knowing that he enjoyed the Pooch & Mutt, I decided to order directly from the site. When the food arrived, I put it into a large storage container and noticed straight away that the stuff from Amazon and the newest from P&M looked, smelled, and felt a bit different. I was worried I had received something outdated from Amazon, so I wrote to P&M and received two separate emails. Prior to receiving the emails, my dog started on the new batch, and we could instantly see a difference. He started having loose stool immediately and was acting off. We attributed this to taking him on walks to the beach and perhaps him eating weird stuff or drinking seawater.

In the emails, one stated that variations in recipes could explain the differences. The other asked about the packaging that the Amazon batch came in. I responded to both and still have not received anything back from them. My partner and I have been worried, so he decided to investigate. That's when he came across reviews about the recipe change and how it has affected other people's dogs as well.

Needless to say, this is very frustrating. We spent money on a 10kg bag plus treats, and now I have to introduce a new food and toss out the old.

I accidentally came across this food when searching for something to support my aging dogs, I have 2 working cocker spaniels and they are 14 years old, they are absolutly thriving on this food, we feed them a mixture of the wet and dry food plus the salmon oil... and I honestly wish id found it years ago... on another note, we had an issue with a leaky salmon oil bottle and the team were amazing, recieved a replacement the next day - 5* service - thank you :)

We absolutely love Pooch & Mutt! My dog suffers with dry skin, coat & itchy paws and needs low treats only due to a recent health condition. Since trying him on Pooch & Mutt treats he has been absolutely loving them, so excited when I give him one and they are super low in fat, which makes them perfect for him. He adores the health & wellness treats and the dental sticks too! I love how they are full of natural ingredients and they are free of any nasties too which gives me complete peace of mind when feeding them to my pup. I cannot recommend Pooch & Mutt enough!!

Started my senior dog on the complete superfood 2 months ago and he absolutely loves the stuff. He's always been a fussy eater when it comes to kibble but he literally hoovers up pooch and mutt! I don't even have to bribe him by adding any cooked chicken. Highly recommend if your dog is fussy I'm spending less money overall as he seems satisfied with this on its own.

My dog has been eating P&M food for nearly 3 years. A wet carton for breakfast and for dinner, every day, and she is absolutely thriving. Quick delivery every time!

My experience has been positive and life changing for my rescue dog. He has irritable bowel disease and has been on the same hyper allergenic diet for years. Which never sorted his runny and soft stools. He hated food time and only ate because he had to. This was heartbreaking to see.
My dog has been on pooch and mutt for two months, even chicken is not affecting him. He now has a selection of flavours as opposed to the same flavour every day.
His stools are firm! Every time and was instant change.
Nothing has affected him negatively and he's so much happier.

After trying our miniature dach on the Calming Dental Sticks For Dogs he was rushed to the vets after experiencing bloody diarrhoea and vomiting.

He suffered from hemorrhagic gastroenteritis after eating the stick.

It was our first time trying them and certainly the last.

We have two miniatures dachshunds both had one stick each. Within 2 hours both were vomitting.

Within 24 hours one was taking to vets with hemorrhagic gastroenteritis.

Fab adult dog kibble, used to train my dog and he looooooves it. So much so we’re off to get more 🤗🤗

I am writing this to raise awareness of my dogs’ experience after eating the new recipe Pooch & Mutt dry food.

One of my dogs became particularly unwell after eating it. She had loose stools for around a week, which did not improve even with probiotic paste. When she became worse — barely eating and then passing blood in her stools — I took her to the vet. She was diagnosed with gastroenteritis, and the vet advised a chicken and rice diet, followed by a gradual reintroduction of her normal food.

I followed that advice, but when I tried to reintroduce the Pooch & Mutt dry food, she did not want to touch it. I will always feel guilty that I sprinkled chicken over it to encourage her to eat, because at the time I did not realise the food itself might be the issue. After that, she became lethargic, stressed, and visibly unhappy around mealtimes. She started hiding when food was put down, and I was genuinely worried something more serious was going on, even wondering whether she might be developing a cognitive issue because her behaviour changed so much.

My other dog also began refusing Pooch & Mutt products completely, including food she had previously eaten without issue. At that point I went onto Facebook to ask for recommendations for alternative foods, and I was shocked to find other dog owners reporting similar problems after the recipe change — including dogs refusing the food, having upset stomachs, loose stools, and becoming unwell.

I immediately stopped feeding all Pooch & Mutt products. Until then, I had not considered that a recipe change or new ingredient could cause such a strong reaction in dogs that had previously tolerated the food.

I did contact Pooch & Mutt, and they refunded one bag of food, which I appreciated. However, I feel this issue needs wider awareness, because many owners may not immediately connect sudden stomach problems, food refusal, or behavioural changes at mealtimes with a change in recipe.

I am not claiming that every dog will react the same way, but in our case the change was significant enough that both dogs refused the food, and one became ill enough to need veterinary care. I would urge other owners to be cautious, especially if their dogs have sensitive stomachs, pancreatitis-prone breeds, or a history of digestive issues.

I also hope Pooch & Mutt will take these reports seriously, look carefully at any recent recipe or ingredient changes, and be transparent with customers about what has changed and whether they have received similar complaints.
