Amazing company! They are genuine, super friendly, and really go out of their way to help. I had an issue with my item and even though they weren’t able to find the part or fix it completely, they still tried their best and didn’t charge me a penny. It’s rare to find a business that puts people first like this. Highly recommend

We called them to come have a look at a hydraulic hose replacement in our forklift.

The gentelman on the phone asked for £200 deposit paid prior to visit. I insisted on knowing at least a rough cost estimate prior to their visit to avoid a nasty surprise. I sent him photos of the job and forklift model so he could estimate the price which he quoted to be in the range of £400-450.

He seemed to be pushy to charge that deposit as called a couple of times to get that charged. Once on site, the quote was raised to £950 + VAT. Of course, we refused that so they wanted to charge us over £100 for the callout. We never received any explanation why this quote doubled while on site. What Pirtek did not know was that we had obtained two other quotes prior to their visit one at £380 plus VAT and the other at £550 plus VAT.

How could the initial quote be so miscalculated if they are "hose specialist" and do this kind of work daily?

We ended up getting both hoses from a local shop for the total of £220 and replaced those ourselves. It took us, complete newbies, 1 hour and 15 minutes. That basically means Pirtek wanted £700 for labour... Shocked at the whole experience...

Appalling company.
They have been contacted about their employees trespassing and parking the van in a private (and designated) parking space.
The driver was also advised not to park there.
But every weekend, the Pirtek van WM19 GXX is dumped on my driveway.
We have decided we are going to install an electric gate or a bollard.

I contacted Pirtek via email regarding a dangerous and unpleasant experience with one of their vans.

Their level of concern was reflected in the fact that they didn’t even bother responding.

I went into PIRTEK Edinburgh today. It was not a pleasant experience. The guy there was rude, abrupt and impatient.

He did replace the faulty part, but his abrupt customer skills were very poor, to the point of embarrassment.

They just lost a customer.

From my first phone call to you to the completed job for what is outside your remit but perhaps a market worth exploring more, in less than 18hrs and with 100% professionalism from B in the office to J the visiting engineer who was brilliant as a representative of the company that the customer sees and C with whom I had a follow up conversation about the whole thing. It takes a lot to impress me nowadays....but Pirtek Cambridge...you certainly did...perfect all round and I would have no hesitation in recommending your services

I got everything I needed with great service I needed 1mrt of hydraulic hose I tryed every where this company no problem my VW T4 power steering all fixed up I am really pleased the amount of fittings they carry is amazing give them a try

I dug my 30 year old Karcher A210 out of my garage when having a clear out. I remembered it had a leak from the output port and out of curiosity I checked to see if it had got any worse with it being laid up for all that time, it hadn't but having a bit more time I decided to see exactly where the leak was coming from and discovered it was only from the plastic garden hose type screw connector, sadly after phoning Karcher I was told that it wasn't repairable and the hose connected to the lance end was no longer in stock.
The agent suggested buying one of the latest models for a mere £50 - £70 which didn't impress me at all.
Not to be one for wasting money I "Googled High Pressure Hose Repairers near me" and up popped PIRTEK near Preston, I called the depot and a very helpful chap suggested I brought the hose and lance section in and he would see what he could do.
It took me 20 minutes to get there and after inspecting the problem he took it into the workshop and came back with some parts and suggested these might make a good repair, I agreed and off he went and came back 10 minutes later, job done!
Cost of parts, fitting and VAT £22.80.
Great value and service.
I couldn't wait to try it out when I got home and it worked perfectly.
My van has never been cleaner, Block paving doesn't know what hit it and even used it to was the house windows. A great investment.
If you have a similar problem with your power washer hoses don't hesitate to contact Pirtek, they may not be able to help but they far exceeded my expectations.

I needed a oil return pipe for a turbo charger making up . I had the old one for a pattern simple job crimped both ends. I went the Oldbury branch nearest to me. He said
I can’t make it up iv got to braze the Ferrols and they are longer than the ones on mine we don’t have that size. I could see he couldn’t be bothered to do the job. Total time wasters. I would bother going there again.

I needed a couple of fuel hose clips and as the Ipswich branch is virtually next door to my offices, I popped in.
The guys were very helpful and I got exactly what I wanted. Friendly, helpful, and went the extra mile rather than simply supplying what I originally asked for.

Superb service today from Pirtek. The engineer Ben was super quick solving our problem and offered excellent advice.

Arrived on site within an hour and gave fantastic service when we needed it!

I highly recommend Pirtek, particularly the Isleworth branch. I received very professional and excellent service from Pirtek in Isleworth, London. The Manager's skill in working with hydraulics helped save my car from being sent to the scrapyard. I had been told by the main dealer that they could not fix the problem and the car was only good for scrap and they left it to me to source the necessary hydraulic repairs. Thank you Pirtek for your fantastic help!
