I have to say I think this product is average. I will continue to use the clean refill pack as I am trying to be more sustainable but it does mean I have to descale the kettle (which was the whole reason I got a filter in the first place - to avoid having to do this). With Brita I never had to do this. Saying that I do live in a very hard water area which may contribute but anything that can be done to make it so I don’t have to descale the kettle would be perfect! Maybe a bit more R&D on really hard water areas 😃 Overall the concept is great and I will persevere but it has been 6 months and at some point I might have to switch back to Brita if it doesn’t improve!

This product maintains the kettle in good condition as we are in a hard water area. In fact, the kettle has become the end-of-life indicator - time to renew the filter.

Labelling needs improving as the box containing the filter packets doesn’t specify which of the two choices is inside. Perhaps adding Clean- for hard water or Alkaline containing Mg and minerals. Had to write on myself or endlessly look it up

The Clean packs are printed in dark blue ink and say "Clean" on the front of the box - the Alkaline ones are printed in light blue and should also say "Alkaline".
