This charity loses money, not gains.
I have encountered this charity in the last week, as a shop on eBay, and so much as it may not see much - I saw a pair of shoes of theirs that I want to buy, I saw the shoes £11.99 in the auction first, which failed to gather interest three weeks in a row, so the price was put up to £12.99, eventually brought down to £9 and so I bought them.
The shoes came with the original box, when the shoes and box arrived there was no cover over the box, but loads of brown tape, which had to be ripped off to open the box left with much torn cord and paper, and a large postage label stuck to it.
I asked for £3 refund for this, negotiable, yet this charity decided that the shoes must be sent back, at their cost of £4.50, and to be refunded AND no doubt to be put back onto eBay auctions or sale to start all over again, incorporating at least the fourth eBay fee on top too, and they are not cheap.
THE CONSEQUENCE of this is a large loss to this charity, and if a charity loses money or is this irresponsible about their actions on a smaller scale, they will be just the same on the large scale aswell, it follows suit.
I most certainly would not feel comfortable supporting this charity and I think that is so important for everybody to know.
