What a terrible experience!

Firstly they failed to credit my sons account with 10 hours worth of lessons then he was unable to book any lessons for weeks, the calendar constantly greyed out each time I tried to book something and I had to keep emailing them to fix it only to try again and it grey out again. When he did get in there were only lessons between 9am and 3pm which wasn’t suitable. Eventually some lessons became available after 5pm so he booked 10. The following day all the lessons were cancelled by the instructor. Then he received a phone call from a very rude instructor saying to hurry up and book lessons!!
I raised a complaint requesting a refund and was sent a complaint form saying they would respond in 28 days, I completed the form and questioned this as hadn’t received any service, 5 days later they sent me the form again asking me to complete the form.
I wish we had read the reviews before we parted with £640!!!
Avoid!!

Very horrible company with bad instructors and customer service doesn’t even care even when you make a report , had an instructor I wasted three lessons with very disrespectful man never teaches anything always yelling and being rude , cancelled my lessons when I complained about his behaviour, customer care doesn’t care either and only gave me another instructor when I asked for a refund who did not turn up only responded when I called several times asking why he hasn’t showed up for my lessons.I’m sick of this company I just want my money back asap absolutely time wasters horrible people take peoples money and never deliver I regret ever booking with this company I do not recommend at all I want my money back !!!!!!

I Had a great time learning with Douglas Scott, I looked forward to every lesson. Dougie was very calm and helped me brush up on weak spots with patience. I wouldn’t have been able to pass my test first time without him. Highly recommended 👍

I had a fantastic experience with Phil H in Leeds - absolutely fantastic instructor. It is fair to say that without his support, guidance and experience, my driving journey would have taken much longer! I strongly recommend him if you're based in Leeds and aren't a confident driver.

I am submitting this complaint regarding a serious issue with my booking made through your website.

When completing the booking, I clearly selected automatic driving lessons. This was done deliberately, as I am only planning to learn in an automatic car. Despite this, my booking was somehow changed to a manual instructor, which I did not select, request, or agree to at any point.

I only discovered this problem the day before my scheduled lesson when I checked the booking details. After noticing the change, I immediately contacted the instructor, who informed me that he only teaches manual lessons. This confirms that the booking I made for automatic lessons was not honoured.

I then attempted to contact your office straight away to resolve the issue, but unfortunately it was after 1pm, meaning your office was no longer available. Since then, I have made multiple attempts to contact you to address this situation.

What is even more unacceptable is that I am now being told that I must pay a £10 fee, despite the fact that the mistake appears to have occurred through your system or booking process. I selected automatic lessons, yet the booking was changed to manual, and now I am expected to pay extra to fix a problem I did not cause.

To be completely honest, this situation feels extremely unfair and misleading, particularly when I am not being offered a proper refund and am instead being asked to pay an additional fee. From a customer perspective, this genuinely feels like a scam, as I paid for a specific service that has not been provided.

This is especially difficult for us financially. I am a full-time student, and my partner works on a low income, and we do not receive benefits. Because of this, the money spent on these lessons is extremely important to us, and losing money due to an error like this is not acceptable.

I therefore expect this issue to be resolved properly.

If this issue is not resolved fairly, I am fully prepared to escalate this complaint further and pursue formal action if necessary.

I expect a prompt response and an appropriate resolution.

I had my driving lessons with Andrew Jeffry from Pass and Go, and he is a great instructor. He taught me all the skills needed to pass my driving test. He was very patient while I was learning, and he was always calm and polite. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a driving instructor in Pontefract.

I had a fantastic experience learning to drive with Darren cook! He was always very straightforward and honest when giving me feedback on my driving and my progress, but it never felt harsh. I could sense how experienced he was in teaching, so I always felt well-informed and well-advised. If I had to do it all over again, I would 100% have him as my instructor again.

I passed with Lee today and can’t express how grateful I am for all his help! He accommodates all my lessons to my needs and he is so incredibly patient and kind. He helped me re-build my confidence and my and my passion for wanting to learn how to drive after a bad experience with another instructor. So incredibly grateful! Thank you Lee!

The online booking system was brilliant and extremely convenient. The website and progress tracker was also very helpful.

My instructor (Muhammed Gulbahar) was the most attentive, professional and kind instructor and hereally took the time and care to provide me with a personal learning experience which helped me significantly, especially mentally.

Since my enrolment to this driving school in September 2025, I, unfortunately, have not had a single driving lesson without significant delays, cancellations and rearrangements, except for the very first session. PNG personal profile has provided me with a booking calendar system where I could book lessons on the days of the instructor’s availability. The bookings I have made were mostly changed as the instructor was either busy with other matters or simply not available. This is all evidenced in my WhatsApp communications with the instructor.
This is, in my opinion, not acceptable as the instructor could not honour our lesson arrangements. These booking changes significantly affected my schedule, and I had to adapt to his availability most of the time.
Secondly and most concerningly, on 11th December 2025 we had a driving lesson where this instructor was going to be examined by a DVSA agent for his own instructor’s licence. Interestingly, he has failed his test. The feedback received by his examiner was that they did not properly/adequately correct learner's mistakes (myself) on several occasions during our lesson. The DVSA examiner raised some issues during our driving lessons which were new to me.
Hence, in my opinion, that instructor was not qualified enough to train a learner in the first place since he lost his instructor badge. Given that all my lessons were delivered by that instructor, who evidently is not qualified to teach a learner - as he lost his instructor badge - I questioned everything I have been taught. Above all, in my opinion, I have spent so much money in the past few months to be trained by someone who failed their own instructor examination.
So I decided to make an official complaint to PNG and tried to escalate this further by asking for a full refund. However, my complaints were totally ignored. Their escalation team - which is run by only one individual - refused my claim and did not agree on a refund.
As our dispute was not going anywhere, I was keen to chase this up via Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), as mentioned on their website as to what they have done.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the services must be provided with reasonable care and skills". As per my belief, PNG has failed to provide me with reasonable quality service and refuses to provide me with a full refund.
In this instance, PNG has not shown the integrity and professionalism one would expect, and therefore, I had to mention my concerns here, making my voice heard to other customers.

Great driving school! Registration was simple and the PNG app is very easy to use. My instructor Hayley Tanya was brilliant—she helped me feel confident and safe on the road. I passed my test and couldn't be happier. Highly recommended

Pass N Go is a reputable driving school, with top notch driving instructors who, have been certified adequately to carry out driving lessons to build and enhance your experience level on the UK roads.
David Hutchinson, who happened to be my driving lessons coach is one of the finest instructors. He takes you one a step by step journey to becoming a professional driver. I will recommend him to anyone who is on the journey to getting their driving license.

I had a very disappointing experience with Pass N Go.

I initially changed my instructor because he was quite rude . While the company did allocate me a new instructor, the situation only got worse from there. When I arrived for my scheduled lesson, the new instructor refused to conduct the class, stating that I needed to provide a DVLA code. At no point prior to the lesson was I informed that I would need a DVLA code, so this came as a complete surprise.

To make matters worse, they refused to reschedule or transfer the lesson to another date, even though the lack of information was clearly not my fault. I contacted customer service hoping for a reasonable resolution, but the agent was unhelpful and did not attempt to resolve the issue in any fair manner.

Overall, this experience has been extremely frustrating and has resulted in me losing my hard-earned money. I would not recommend Pass N Go based on my experience.

Forever grateful to Tanya for getting my son through his test first time. My son was having a bad experience with his previous instructor who initially booked his test then at short notice said he would not be ready for his test, I made contact with Tanya who managed to fit my son in and fill all the gaps in teaching that were missing. I sat in the car on the first lesson and could see all the "light bulb" moments take place with my son, Tanya has a way of explaining things and it just makes sense. I will be hunting Tanya down to be my 2nd child instructor, she is ace and she actually cares!!!!

My instructor was Simon Tyler was absolutely spot on with me. 100% be recommending him to anyone. Now passed my driving test i’ll be forever grateful for him.
