Found it useful starting off with machine learning and have been very persistent trying to make it work. But I come across problem after problem. Machine's won't shut down. Won't start up. Spontaneously stop working and I lose all my work. The idea is convenient but the implementation is just so frustrating. Can't take it anymore!

It just works.

I was able to get my ML training job on Paperspace VM up-and-running in just a few minutes. Their predefined ML template has everything you need for your training purposes.

I didn't use them for production loads or more complicated things like distributed training, but for my straightforward use case it did a great job.

I first tried AWS pre-built AMI for DeepLearning, but that one is just a disgrace, doesn't work out of the box, and therefore deservingly has 1.5 star rating on AWS marketplace.

I run marketing campaigns where each client has their own google chrome setup with an extension that must run 24/7. This software allows me to store and run an infinite number of client accounts without slowing down my actual computer!

Even more importantly, it gives me the peace of mind that if something should happen to my laptop, all of my clients accounts will remain safe and keep running. Even if I have to replace my laptop.

Furthermore, customer support has been great!! They really go above and beyond to ensure you have what you need.

For my company Paperspace its running 100% good, without any problems !
I like Paperspace because was so easy to understand and see all prices that they charge.
Also like a lot the easy configuration of snapshots , that let you make a save copy of the full machine easily.
Also the support had reply all my messages that I have doubt.

After 3 days of shut down, they sent an email saying the can't get back online and we'll loose the machine and the data ... They offered $50 of credits but for such a crappy product, it's just ridiculous.

They keep charging me the money. I realized that fact, then I canceled my account and tried to prevent them from charging the money, but they still....... Now I don't have access to my account, and they still have my card information. I sent them an email and ask for a refund, nobody replies. Hope they could see this review and reply to my email.

Paperspace lures people with cheap prices, but the product is terrible. The workstations crash, with down time up to 60 hours. Support is slow to respond, even for big accounts. This can be brutal if you use it for work, and frustrating in general. The workstations will log off and shutdown for no reason, due to problems with their "auto-shutdown feature." Again, this is a feature that sounds good on the surface, but when I was using it for six months, the workstation would log off by accident and kill lightmap renders and other important sessions that resulted in having to start them over. This is when the cheap price is not worth it. Then support is terrible. They often do not understand the problems, then give incomplete information. One support person, "Rusty" is incredibly rude and hostile. And then after all that, there are billing problems. The workstation will crash for 48 hours and then that was added to my bill on multiple occasions. I noticed it and contacted support, and they removed the bogus charges, but it happened often, and what if I don't notice? Why should I have to search the bill every month for bogus charges? The final big reason to stay away from Paperspace is that the graphics drivers are all buggy because it comes to your local computer, so this results in many professional software titles crashing or not being usable. If you intend to play video games, be advised that most AAA games will not play correctly because of their remote login driver mismatch. The cause is that their login software (remote desktop) is always buggy, and each update introduces more bugs. Paperspace is a total fail of a product, so don't waste your time.

The website won't detect that you are logged in when browsing most sections of the website.

You will often be unable to log in to your account, preventing you from turning on your machine and using it if you are paying hourly.

Turning on and off the VM is very unresponsive, you will lose some minutes waiting for the VM to turn on and trying several times to turn it off.

The infrastructure is good and it is very simple to setup whatever you want, but the service is so bad it is unusable a considerable portion of the time.

Simply put, paperspace sucks.

if you wanna use it for gaming, try parsec on top

Tried some tests here, and must say their Servers are VERY FAST when using Parsec Client.

The Support team stepped in when my test machine did not shutdown properly, and returned credit to my account for the hours stuck shutting down..

Also they stepped in when a Hacker (Shame on you) logged in on my account - and misused my saved creditcard for something (mining Bitcoins?)

USE STRONG UNIQUE PASSWORD on this site - And maybe also Two Factor...

Can recommend their services..

So far just amazing! Had a double charge and it was refunded without problems in just days!

Been having a virtual machine to do multiple projects and it works the way it is suppose to work.

Give it 4 starts because without a Public IP the LAG sucks!

Paperspace offers top-notch virtual desktops and so much more. Have tried it for a month now and uptime was 100% and performance just as good. Support is ok 2. Highly recommended!

My first and last for using Paperspace.com. Signup with Paperspace and try to connect to the Desktop .So much lag.

Ok so i changed to terminal mode. Waited for more than few minutes still cannot connect to the server.

Then I tried to post to the support team, after 5 hours still no reply.

I gave up. Paperspace can take my money for today and this month, I'm not going to use it ever again.

Using paperspace since a long time already and I love it! I love the service and I love the very good support. Please keep doing this way!

Very bad with pricing. They charge even after you give up your working machine. Have been charged for two months straight. They won't respond to your mails!

Get overcharged.
You think you don't want to be logged in and charged by the hour while you sleep? Paperspace will charge you while you sleep. Get used to it.

I learned about Paperspace through the Parsec app for gaming. I was also looking for a low latency rendering machine so I can do realtime renders during my SketchUp work. It turned out that Paperspace P5000 and P6000 machines are both doing a great job here. You can easily access the Win 10 desktop using -just- the Chrome browser. They also have an app but it is not required and they don’t need to install special plugins for the browser. It just works! Especially in combination with the Parsec streaming app. Then it feels like you are working locally instead of at a long distance. For €7 a month they keep my storage intact so I can get back to work whenever I like and also wherever I like! Because it even works awesome on the slow library computers. Imagine that, working cpu/ram/gpu-heavy tasks on a dreadfully slow machine. With all the other services they offer, such as unlimited data traffic and an optional dedicated IP address, Paperspace is a seriously good desktop service. Highly recommended.
