Found out that this company has been charging my card for years without notice. I opened an account years ago as an undergraduate student and never ended up using their services. I was not running notebooks or instances yet I was continuously charged. They just charge you in secret without ever sending an invoice to let you know you have been charged. I only found out because my card eventually expired and then they sent me an email complaining that the payment could not be taken. Steer well clear.

The service is OK, but there is hidden prices, and their billing system is buggy... If I'd known I would have selected another option from the start, so I wasted not only my money but also my time.

Edit: the customer service just came back to me about the higher-than-expected charges, but wasn't able to break down the total I was charged into a documented price list. So it seems even them don't really now how the fees are calculated. Nice to have somebody to talk to though, even if useless.

Lot of hidden fees and awful customer service. they have a simple plan but lot of hidden fees and condition to milking their customer and empty your pocket. do not trust them and do not fell for their low prices. the final prices is a much more than that

The UI is perfect but ML ecosystem lacks. There are still some issues with notebook and lack of features features for free users. Overall, I have positive experience using the Paperspace platform.

From my experience, this service is perfect if you need to use a more powerful computer for work (3D Modelling & Rendering) without paying heavily up front. You pay different hourly rates for machines with different component specs. It isn't as responsive as having the computer in-front of you but that is highly dependent on your internet speed.

The reason I give this 5 stars is because of the great customer service. I couldn't connect to one of my virtual machines (and access the data stored on the drive) but after submitting a ticket, within an hour or two I was going back and forward with Jordan who clearly knew what he was doing and wasn't just following a tech support flow chart. We tried a few different things to no avail, but eventually after he created a new machine and mapped the drive containing my data to it, I got access to all of my data and could move it to the new machine.

However good the product is it's always nice to know that when something goes wrong, someone will be there to help me fix it.

Overall it does what it advertises.
I've ran into some problems connecting to the machines once in a while. Customer support is very quick and helpful, but I'd rather not have had to contact them in the first place.

The website sometimes is a bit buggy, their built-in terminal rarely even works.

still in the process of learning more about paperspace, but for the moment

positives:
* tech service is very prompt
* the free plan is great (6h gpu)
* for the same money you seem to get better hardware than google colab
negatives:
* deactivating card removes machine access
* web interface is confusing and at times too complex

I use Paperspace (CORE) machine mostly for cloud gaming (with Parsec) and tasks for which Windows (with full access) is needed (because I am using Mac).

Regarding cloud gaming: this is one of the best services I used: fast server connection, wide choice of GPU's and CPU's (and so on) for any requirements and wallet, user-friendly interface and also - opportunity to play with mods.

Does it have minuses? If you play a lot, it could be a little bit expensive.

I have been using Paperspace for about a month now and really like the platform. I have been using their Machines with Dedicated GPUs for training Deep learning models. They have a wide selection of GPUs, easy to use interface, clear pricing, and make the process of spinning up a workstation very easy. Whenever I have had any doubts or problems in the past, the customer service has always been extremely fast and helpful (often get responses within an hour). Having wasted a lot of time trying to work with GPUs on other cloud platforms in the past, I am glad I found Paperspace and will definitely continue using their services for the foreseeable future.

Overall the free plan is good. When it comes to paid subscriptions, I recommend to stay with competitors. I probably paid 100$ for 1 month usage because their payment system is broken.

Charge your credit card without notifying you and do not respect their billing dates. Run!

They don't allow you to remove you're credit card without deactivating your account and very happily charge you incorrect amounts and prey on this confusing process.

Pretty useless! Took forever to provision and when it finally provisioned there was no storage left on the 50GB they provide...

Waste of time!

Very good customer service. Informative, cooperative and very precise in their instructions. They really deserve 5 starts and even 10 stars as their service was very helpful. I couldn't get connected with the VM because of my slow internet, but after the staff assistance, I can play now my favorite games on their platform. Thank you very much for everything.

I've been using Paperspace for gaming for about two months now. In that time, everything has worked flawlessly and I am happy with their service. The fact is that my game is not particularly demanding - it's basically a text-based game but for some reason I couldn't run it on my computer.

Web interface is simple, clear and intuitive - I really had no problem to find myself in it. The application mirrors the website which helps.

I had a bit of a problem with the client (the machine was working perfectly all the time) but they solved it almost immediately which impressed me.

One thing that annoys me a bit is that I have to manually set the resolution to full HD every time I start the machine. But overall I am very satisfied and for the price I recommend it.

Bought the lowest option as a test. Ran OBS with a static image and a playlist of music which I streamed to YouTube. The CPU was running at around 25%.

The virtual machine appeared to be running fine (The YouTube stream was running as expected) but more often than not I couldn't reconnect to the computer to manage it. It just stuck on 'Loading' most of the time I tried. This happened whether I was using the web interface or their app to connect. Tech support moved the machine to another server but this did not resolve this issue. Only reboots worked ... until the next time I wanted to connect.

On those instances where I was able to connect to the machine the mouse and keyboard latency along with the refresh rate was terrible. Pretty much unusable.

Cancelled after a week. Machine trashed instantly (fine). Account closed instantly too so I couldn't chase a refund for the remaining 3 weeks I had paid for.

Amazing company from my experience so far . The customer service I have had from them has been the best I have ever had from any company so responsive and clear

Pro-tier of paperspace. User since Feb 2021. Extremely happy with the product and service. I mainly use gradient notebooks, which means I have 6h of free GPU running on the cloud. The options are Quadro M4000 and Nvidia P5000, so pretty powerful. Also, they allow you to use your own custom image as a notebook, which means I can use VScode (through code-server) as my IDE. On top of that, I asked for support a couple of times and the response is always in 24h or less. Kudos to the team for that. I would recomend it to anyone.
