Delivered quickly but there was a complete lack of communication as to 2hen to expect the delivery. All communication seems to have been with the sender not the recipient. We got no notice of delivery and it was a heavy item that we had to ,it inside by ourselves.

108 Pound Charge for no reason
I booked a pallet for domestic shipping and the experience has been extremely disappointing.
On the original collection date, no driver showed up and I received no communication explaining the missed collection. Because of this, I had to take the time to rebook the service myself.
On the second agreed date, a driver did arrive in a full sized HGV and attended the property without any apparent issue.
However, around 30 days later, I was charged £108 for a “wasted journey.” The reason given was that an HGV could not access the property, which is completely inconsistent with what actually happened. Your company itself sent an HGV on the rebooked date, and it arrived successfully.
To be clear:
The first missed collection was entirely on your side.
The second collection was attended using an HGV without access issues.
The later charge is based on a claim that contradicts your own actions.
This charge unjustified and unacceptable. I expect this to be investigated properly but got no real response and the £108 charge remained.

The collection on the 2nd of February was booked and dispatched as planned; however, it was unsuccessful as the driver was unable to gain access to the collection address on the day.
Access is assessed by the driver at the time of collection, and conditions can vary from day to day. It is therefore at the driver’s discretion to determine whether it is safe and possible to proceed.
As per your request, we changed the collection date, and a smaller HGV successfully collected your goods.
As a result, the failed collection charge has been correctly applied in line with the carrier’s terms.

The delivery was on time and the driver was great. 5 stars for that bit. Unfortunately one corner of the pallet was badly damaged, to the point where it is unusable. Hopefully I’ll not need to return my purchase, but if I did, the pallet would need major repairs before I could use it.
