Had OVH dedicated servers and VPS since 2008.

In this 11 years, I can honestly say that I have never had any issues with them. The VPS I just use for my personal email and for the cost, it beats the cost of hosting my email elsewhere.

Yes, they do rely upon you have some idea on what you are doing, but you are paying for an unmanaged service.

Cannot see me moving away from OVH.

I have rented servers from OVH for like 8 years now and they have been so good with everything. I don't know what I'd do without them.

Edit: I moved failover IPs to a new server which should be "within minutes" and yet it has still not happened after 20 hours. If that was it, fine, but no, I have contacted the support about their fault and yet have been told that I will only receive further assistance if I put the server into "rescue mode" (making it unavailable for the hundreds of people that use it) despite trace route clearly proving that it has nothing to do with the server as the trace route shows that it's still going to the old servers location, not the new servers location in a completely different place. So I tell them I've put it into rescue mode and here waiting for 2 hours now wondering if they're ever going to do anything and at this rate I'll just have to pay for new failover IPs to get the server back online just because they don't accept that their failover IP migrator had a bug.

We rented a VPS server from OVH. After a while, when we published our website, our visitors had some speed issues on connecting to our server. We made contact with OVH, and their skilled officer Adam warmly assisted us with diagnosis and resolution. Our problem disappeared within less than 48 hours. I really recommend them for any IT project at any scale, they are there to provide you what you need whenever you need. Thanks OVH team!

Had an issue where I paid my invoice while I was abroad. This triggered some security systems. Adam O. offered quick and professional assistance via e-mail and resolved the issue in the blink of an eye.

I have been using OVH for a long time and cannot remember any problems or anything like that. And I can recommend them as one of the best service providers in Europe.

Tech support has been fantastic, world with me to solve an IPv6 issue, now all working perfectly, great value, great support.

I placed an order (111741502) for 40+ domain names as OVH was advertising an attractive registration fee of just £3.79 for .uk domains.
Payment was promptly taken, but even after 8 days the order was not yet fulfilled.
Raised a support ticket on the website (291071425) but no answer...
Called their support phone number repeatedly every day, again no answer...
I've given up and used a different registrar.
Suffice to say I won't be using OVH ever again

On 19th July 2019, I had renewed two UK domains for 4 years based on prices displayed at the checkout. On 20 July 2019, I noticed that the domain only renewed for two years and not 4 years as my order.
I have been trying to resolve the issue with OVH.co.uk since 20/07/2019 and to date, no satisfactory resolution. They tell me that due to techincal issue with their website, the prices shown should be for two years and not 4 years. They also say, they do not refund. Now they do not respond to my support messages at all.
I now considering taking this complaint to domain name regulators as no response received from the OVH.

Last 3 years i have a dedicated server on Ovh.
Support team is very helpful my all problems. Last 3 years no 1 minute downtime on my server.

OVH seem to have resolved my queries below and I am currently working with them to ensure this situation doesn't happen again. They've answered my questions but haven't in all cases given the answers I was looking for. Given that they've reached out to me though provides hope that things will improve.

Continue to invoice cancelled services.

I have this morning received an invoice for a service that was cancelled on Thursday (portal confirms the cancellation). Also no response to the ticket I raised on Thursday related to the cancellation.

Raised a new ticket this morning but I doubt that'll get responded to and billing support is Monday-Friday only.

If they don't refund the invoice I'll be asking my bank to issue a chargeback.

The worst company ever! Decided to go with OVH as many people have recommended me the services and VPS for being "good" the way it is advertised. "Powerful" cpu from 3ghz etc. However, that CPU is Intel Core Processor that is worse than most i3 processors with a benchmark of 5k. Also, the machine was lagging a lot. In addition and most importantly "ddos protection pro" that pro does it stand for there is NONE existent one? I put it to the test, ddosed my project, well I managed also to take the entire machine off.... There is no DDoS protection at all as being advertised. Customer support is worst than any other company! Sent a support ticket, 12 hours of no reaction to it, sent email same thing, called twice on the phone, waiting for 5-8 minutes someone to pick it up, the company doesn't seem they care about their customers and didn't even pick the phone, left it to keep ringing! Also to mention that the machine I got, came as faulty, giving erros in the RAM and crashing it automatically! Unreliable source same the company is! Requested the refund, hopefully I will get my £82.04 refunded back to my bank account (some day) .....

A friend of mine with his home internet provider has way better, reliable and strong DDoS protection as well as machine. I tried to DDoS his machine and server after we set it up on it, however even with 65 500 threads for hours flooding him, I couldn't knock him out, nor slow his pc or anything. Only his internet went down with 30 mb but that is not a big issue since he has 250mb internet upload and download. OVH is just a joke!

The 5 stars are for the customer support staff! I would give only 3.5 stars to the company as we waited over 4 hours for our 2 boxes to go live. It is quoted as setup in 120 seconds - dropped the ball there OVH!
