We had a wonderful time in Egypt. A week on the nile with so many excursions included. We also went to Abu Simbel an optional trip. Well worth it , we had a really enjoyable morning. We also went on to Cairo to visit the pyramids and saqqara , also the new Grand Museum. This was an experience not to be missed, we had our own excellent guide for all our Cairo excursions. Thankyou Orbital travel, all staff I have talked to are really helpful. This time it was Greg he was always really helpful and never too much trouble to listen and discuss plans for holiday . We have travelled with Orbital travel several times. We started our holiday 9th March to 19th March. Thankyou again from Pauline and Kirsty.

From initial communications with Orbital, they were pleasant, courteous and extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of their holidays. It being our first visit to Egypt, we.chose a 7 day Nile Cruise on the Royal Princess.
Greg at Orbital was a mine of information and always available to answer any queries w might have.
On arrival at Luxor, we were met by a delightful Orbital airport transfer rep, who assisted us all with the process and transported us to the boat.
We really enjoyed our trip on the Royal Princess. The staff were charming and the food was very good and varied. Our assigned Egyptologists Sameh and Hani did a superb job of guiding us around the impressive sites, with their passion for their profession. Sailing down the Nile was glorious and made for such a memorable holiday.

From initial enquiry, which we changed quite a bit from Cruise to beach, Beach to Cruise and everything in between, to returning home it was a pleasure using Orbital Travel and their partners.

We had a great holiday and although there were some last minute alterations, they were dealt with very satisfactorily. Can’t fault the staff at Orbital and the way everything was managed.

The staff at Orbital, especially Denise, are so helpful in arranging trips to your requirements. Nothing is too much trouble and all questions, even the stupid ones, are answered promptly.
This was the second time we used Orbital, having had a great experience with them previously.

From my contact at Orbital to the reps at Cairo when we arrived to the rep when we left the staff were fantastic, the guide organised by Traveline through Orbital was brilliant. I really can't praise them enough.

The ship was good, everyone was courteous. Our guide Adil was knowledgeable.
One thing that we asked from the beginning was denied to us. We wanted to see Edfu temple. We were told ‘NO’ various reasons were given among them was the locals beat the horses with whip.
The ship stayed anchored for more than 10 hours near Edfu temple. Half of the tourists on the ship were Germans they went to see the temple. They told us that they did not see any beating of the horses because they used taxis. Clearly this was a lie told to us and we were deprived from an experience that we could have had. Thank you

We really enjoyed our holiday to Egypt and the cruise up the Nile. Everything was taken care of for us. We were met at the airport in Cairo and from then util we were dropped at the airport to return home we were looked after completely. The cruise was wonderful with expert guided tours and a pleasant crew on a very comfortable boat. I highly recommend Orbital Travel.

I stayed in a hotel in Cairo for 3 nights and was on a boat for a week on the Nile with a group of friends (12) last month. From when we arrived until we sadly departed we were treated by the Orbital Travel reps like royalty. Everything was perfect; from the airport, hotel in Cairo, the boat, the food and all of the staff. The whole trip was magical and will remain with me as one of those moments in life, when you experience relaxing, calming, togetherness and renewal of ones being.
The assurance given by Orbital that all of the food was washed in mineral water meant we were able to eat and drink anything throughout the whole trip without having the feeling that you were going to be ill, which made a huge difference to me and the others who were in my group.
Egypt is one of the must things to experience in life and I can’t thank Orbital Travel more for making it happen so brilliantly.

The whole trip to Cairo and the pyramids and the Nile cruise was very well organised from the minute we booked. A guide was there to meet us at the airport and they looked after us superbly. The Marriott Mena House in Cairo was lovely and the Grand Mandarin cruise boat was great. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a Royal Suite which was fantastic. The food on the cruise was good too and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. The guides were great and made us feel very safe and relaxed. We thoroughly enjoyed the trips to see all the sights. Orbital Travel organised the most memorable and unforgettable time with friends in Egypt. 4 nights at The Mena House Hotel in Cairo and then a week on the Nile on The Grand Mandarin boat which was excellent.
Orbital Travel exceeded all expectations. At every stage we were looked after superbly, flights, transportation, sightseeing was effortless. Our guide Ayman was so knowledgeable, an Egyptologist at the highest level. Thank you to him and thank you to wonderful Orbital travel. HIGHLY recommended.

Once again Orbital Travel delivered an amazing experience of Egypt 🇪🇬 and its wonderful history. After a flight with Egyptair from London to Aswan via Cairo we were met by Orbital’s agent and transferred to our boat, the Steigenbrergen Royale. Our Egyptologist, Dr Mohamed Ali Abbasy was brilliant. He was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating to all our requests and through his contacts at each site we visited was able to get us access to less seen parts of the sites. The crew on the boat were excellent, the food varied and were reassured that salads were all prepared with bottled water. At each over night stop we were able to take escorted walks ashore. All too soon we were back in Cairo. All credit to Greg and his team for arranging this cruise. The only downside of this cruise was that the Grand Egyptian Museum was not included in the itinerary.

Our friends recommended Orbital and said 'they were always on it' we 100% agree. Everything worked like clockwork, well as much as it can in Egypt. From initially speaking to Greg, it was clear they are experts in Nile cruises - don't go for the cheap cruises! Our guide was brilliant, PHD in Egyptology and so friendly and helpful, he went out of his way for all of us. Orbital also organised transit to the red sea to Fort Arabesque resort which again was excellent for relaxing (and diving!). Small things like the boat (MS Royal Princess) used bottle water for ice cubes and salads so you could eat anything on the boat made a huge difference.
The Nile cruise itself was something we will remember for life, the sights, sounds, history, 'how did they do that' moments... we are normally independent travellers, but this a cruise is the best way to see all the sights. Yes it is crowded, you get some hassle to buy stuff and lots of cruise boats, often rafting up which cn be noisy - but look beyond this and you will have a brilliant holiday. We also opted for some extras which we would recommend; Bird watching, Old Cataract hotel, Abu Simbel and Balloon flight over Luxor. I would definitely use Orbital again...

I had seen a holiday advertised on another web site but they were unable to help me with the dates I required and so I googled the same cruise and found Orbital Travel. From the first moment I spoke to them I felt at ease and they managed every aspect of my holiday seamlessly. Denise gave me excellent advice and I truly felt so supported. Thank you does not do justice to the service I received.

'Thank you' doesn't seem enough to say to Orbital Travel for organising our holiday to Egypt in January.
Everything went to plan.
We travelled from Birmingham to Alexandria, via Istanbul. We had 4 nights at the Alexandria Hilton Corniche. Excellent hotel and staff. We had a private excursion to El-Alemin Museum for a day with a knowledgeable Guide and driver.
We then flew to Hurghada via Sharm El-Sheikh for 4 weeks of relaxation and delightful weather. Sunrise Holidays Resort was wonderful. Courteous staff, beautiful room and view and delicious food and drink. The sunny warm weather made is want to stay longer.
Greg at Orbital was exceptional at meeting all our needs and so very helpful with even the smallest of queries.
We shall certainly be on the phone again to organise our next trip.

We have just returned from a tailor-made 6 week trip to Egypt arranged by Greg at Orbital Travel. It involved 3 cruises, 3 hotel stays and all the transfers. We cannot overstate what a joy it was to work with Greg arranging this trip of lifetime. His knowledge of the destination, his professionalism, his courtesy, his reliability, his willingness to go above and beyond ensured our trip was seamless. I wouldn't book a holiday with anyone else

We just went on our third Egyptian trip organised by Orbital. If you like Egyptology, then there's a lot to see, one trip wasn't enough. This time, our trip was to mostly rest, and we did so on a 7 day cruise from Luxor to Aswan on Blue Nile IV (Esadora). As usual, the whole thing was very well organised. Our travel, transfers, access to assistance. We were absolutely delighted to see that our favourite guide was again present; Sameh is a legend. Not only does he know incredible amounts of historical information, he's fun, charming and engaging. Even though we did fewer tours this time, being guided by him was as enjoyable as ever. He's the top reason we would go back to be honest. He went out of his way to be helpful, and accessible if we needed anything. Regarding the boat, the staff were helpful as always, and they made us feel welcome to be back on board again. While the boat isn't as luxurious as others we've seen, the people on board make the difference. We may just be back for that reason, and hope that Sameh will be there to dazzle us with his knowledge and personality again!
