Octopus Group is a scam, I find they ask you the majority of the survey questions then screen you out, meaning they don’t have to pay you. This has happened multiple times to myself and my friend.

So OCTOPUS GROUP pride themselves on being the highest paying survey company.
At the start you can see the survey length, then you click that link and the next page adds more time on the survey so the first page with survey length is misleading. I have done numerous surveys that actually take triple the time to complete by the time i’ve finished! There are also surveys where I have done 56 minute survey only for there to be a glitch and that has happened numerous times over a couple of years. I have received 2 return incentives in that time for the glitch but what about the rest, OCTOPUS GROUP just apologises, or doesn’t believe you or don’t care and you get no incentive for the hours and hours of misleading survey lengths. So, OCTOPUS GROUP DONT PAY MORE. The time and effort and glitches for what a couple of dollars……… OCTOPUS GROUP think we are fools but boast how lucky we are to be with them. Pffffft, DONT BOTHER.

I am not affiliated with octopus and I am a real customer. Don't listen to these bad reviews, they are salty they got screened out or rightfully banned. I have earned $500 from this site and it's genuine.

This is a good paying site, they pay well when you get surveys.

did a over 60 question survey and got $0, get F ed - dont waste your time with these dumb questions that seems very strange some things they ask.

I have been a member of many paid survey online groups and this one is one of the slowest earners out there. I have been sitting on $19.90, just 10c off being able to claim, for weeks now. Once I earn enough to claim I will be shot of this one

I have just read through the reviews on here and am honestly amazed that people say they have had such bad experiences. In the time I have been with Octopus Group (a few years now) whenever I have had an issue of any kind, it has been resolved speedily and to my satisfaction. Not once have I had any problems cashing out my rewards and this company is by a long way the best paying at 28c per minute.
I attempt to answer all surveys honestly and to the best of my ability and have never been flagged for giving dud answers. All in all, by far the best survey company as far as I am concerned - and I am about to post a scathing review of another company which pays 16c per minute and has left me with a very bad taste in my mouth.

Varied surveys usually short easy to complete only first survey incomplete , today because could not answer in questionable format

i went with octopus as it's claimed they are one of the higher paid providers.
in ACTUALITY, as many many others say, MULTIPLE, consistent survey errors & issues that trigger their 'fraud' protection even without answering anything (not even getting to the survey)!!
in the end, very few invitations come, very few get successfully completed.
i'm a member of other survey sites & by far this is the WORST - in frequency of surveys offered, errors but particularly in staff handling.
they really do NOT care about their users...
go with a site with better all round offerings.
oh, & their redemption process is a pain in the a$$!! (needing to send text messages at your own cost to access 'your' money) - even banks don't do that!!
final insult to injury (if that were even remotely possible), like others have said, i had my account shut down despite 'reading every question' & 'answering honestly'.
they don't WANT 'honest' answers...& they do NOT value their users or their time.
look to others to avoid massive loss of time.

And they have the nerve to say I done the wrong thing! There fools are insane!
Scum of the earth DATA THIEVES WHO WILL SHUT YOUR ACCOUNT DOWN FOR QUESTIONING UNPAID SURVEYs. I even supplied screenshots of the last page of the surveys for proof of completion yet they still shut my profile down and stole all my data! It's criminal I will have this site shut down as this is an illegal scam site!

They shut my account for giving what they deemed "false answers". I completed the surveys as best as I could and this is the rubbish they push out. An organisation with very little credibility.

Staff are arrogant and perfect at sending standard responses and pretending to not know what you’re talking about. ‘Screens out or times out’ more than any other survey provider. They’ll also sell you their BS that we don’t get paid if you don’t get paid. Staff couldn’t care less about their constant errors with Octopus surveys. Surveys constantly say you’re not eligible after wasting 6-10 minutes of your time on octopus surveys. They also send surveys out not targeted to the questionnaire you have to fill in. Staff are not interested in helping. Whoever they’re hiring are not doing their business any justice. Also as an employer I would never use this business for data. EVER. I highly recommend not signing with this mob.

I can make more in a single day with another site than in 6-8 months with Octopus Group Maybe it would be slightly worthwhile if there were a reasonable amount of studies but there isn't so I'll be sticking with my other site where it's simple to make $20-$40 every day that I can have put directly in my paypal rather than giving them access to my bank account

Pompous, arrogant bunch. They seriously think they are the best and highest paying of the online surveys. They are not.
1 or 2 surveys a week, at best.
I self quit this site after about 7 years.
I did a $14 survey which I completed every day as per instructions. They did not honour it.
Like rewardia, they are the best at screen outs.
Do not be fooled by any high paying survey that says, wait 4--6 weeks, or download any aps. They will screw you over.
I've made more in 1 month with a competitor than this trash in 1 year.
Octopus gave me the 70c so I could have my $20 total to see me off.
I always stand up to ripoff companies like rewardia and octopus with aggression and you should all do the same.
Do not believe the, 'we don't get paid for incomplete surveys part'.

Beware, they suck you in and give you questionnaires and add money to your account. But you can’t withdraw the money until it hits a certain amount. I had my account terminated and once I emailed they re-activated it. Then they did it again and I’ve had no response from them at all. So I guess the money they paid me is now theirs as I can’t access it and they won’t respond. I wonder how many other people they do this to.

The method for redeeming funds does not work. It is obvious how to contact a support team. At best this is sloppy and disrespectful. I will reserve judgement on whether it’s more than incompetence until I have had or not had a reply from the support “group” (contact details could only be found on this review site).

I’ve joined this online survey company for well over 6months now and I’m honestly impressed.

My total earnings is around $200. I’m not actively doing the surveys every single day, only when I get the chance and time to do it. Now these surveys range from different pays from $0.50 to even $20 per survey and time to complete can range from 2min to 30min.

Overall, if you have time to sit down and complete a few surveys for 10-30min, it all accumulates slowly throughout the months and you’ll find yourself being able to purchase a McDonald’s family meal from your survey money :)

My only problem would be sometimes you won’t be an eligible participant if you aren’t a qualified register. Other than that Octopus Group is great and I still use it till this day!

I have tried on 4 occasions to redeem an amount,still waiting
It is now 1/11 and once again and not paid,maybe after completing last survey for and organisation that is 800 metres from home I think a visit will be necessary to let them know this organisation does not PAY

Their internal system to suspend people is a joke.
It's too harsh.

I'm a member of other survey sites where I have no issue with quality control, but Octopus Group will ban you at the drop of a hat.

Sometimes the survey client surveys fail, but they'll flag your profile because you incompleted the survey or did something wrong, yet the survey might freeze.

I’ve also tried to resolve this with staff.

It’s a company issue.

Was alright until I reached the cash out amount, now all of a sudden I haven't had a successful survey almost all of them have screened me out. Seems a bit strange that it works until your close to cash out.
