This company is trash. Their shoes are absolute junk. Cheaply made. And when you try to return them, they are absolutely garbage human beings. The ratings on their sites are all five stars. HAHA! Their return policy is an ENORMOUS lie. This germ had the nerve to say return shipping is expensive, how about you buy another pair of these crappy junk shoes, keep the ones that are broken. No? How about we give you a little bit of money back and you can sell them yourself? No? Then you can open a dispute. They will NOT accept or honor their return policy.

Very cheap and unreliable material. The "safety shoes" that I foolishly ordered are anything but safe. They fit snug and are the correct size, but they're just made of some thin, foamy plastic, so they slip off if you side-step or pivot! They were advertised as being highly breathable, but my feet are suffocating. Both laces came apart before I even tried them on... All of the product reviews appear to be written by the Chinese business and run through a translator. Just read through them, it's so obvious now.

the shoes I ordered were a very small 13 that did not fit. After many emails with them wanting to sell me other products in place of mine I decided to return shoes. The address I was given to return them doesn't exist according to USPS. They then sent me a address in china to return them to. shipping was a lot of money. I'm currently in process of disputing charges.

Do not order anything from this joke of a company. They will not take back their products unless you want to send them back to China for more than the product costs in the first place.
Poor quality control on their items and worse customer service!

Terrible experience with this company. My package was received all mingled up. I contacted CS with the picture of the packaging they wanted to see more pictures. After finally opening the box i tried one shoe on and the lace clip broke of. I sent them another picture asking for a replacement. All i got is a sorry and video clip showing me how to put it back. The company made no attempt to send me a replacement. Customer service is the worse in this company. I would not recommend these shoes to anyone. The durability advertised is a big lie.

I ordered August 28th, it is now Sept 25th and these shoes are nowhere near what is in the pictures.
I mail demanding a refund and he responds:
"Hi Jay R,
I am sorry for it
How about i refund 8 dollars, you keep them?"

What the actual **** kind of response is that? I'm within his own return policy date.
I'll be looking into pressing fraud charges if he doesn't fully refund and take this junk back.

Google their core mission "we love every passion and interest on Earth because it is a reference to your UNIQUENESS. And to spread exactly that" statement from their website to bring up all assoc sites.

They are all sketchy.

This is a drop-shipping scam. They are super-cheap shoes. I ordered and the lace holder broke immediately. This "store" is just a guy who takes your credit card, charges you $80, and does a drop ship from a Chinese manufacturer (pays them $10). If you ask for a refund, he wants you to ship back to China, which will cost you almost $200 in shipping. If you do a search on Alibaba for "steel toe safety shoes for men and women" you can see he only pays about $10. They're not even worth that.

These shoes are a joke. The mesh is so weak that they're more like swimming shoes with a steel toe. Try wearing these to work! You'll end up with so much debris inside your shoe, and a blister all the way across the top of your foot where the steel insert rubs. Crappy, cheaply made, and really poor customer service.

I wanted to return mine once I saw what they were, and they want them shipped back to China before they'd give me a refund. This is a scam. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

If zero were an option, I would give the zero! I cancelled the order within minutes of placing and days later they still sent them and refuse to refund! They are not a real business! Of 79.95 they offered 10 dollar refund! Worst company ever! Don’t do business with them!

Hands down, the worst expirience I've ever had speaking with a company, EVER. My exchange requests were consistantly ignored. My refund requests were consistantly ignored. The support team consistantly ignores you because they have your money and don't care about you. Their products are subpar and poorly made as well as falsly advertised. Unfortunately I was ignored to such an extent that I had to go over their heads and report them directly to Shopify who have expressed their extreme displeasure with Oak Bay Online's dispicable customer service. I doubt their site will remain up much longer. You can buy all their products on other sites and Amazon.com who have PROPER customer support. Happy shopping!

I would give them a one if I could.

Don’t risk your money or time! They look promising. And some people have allegedly received them, but I am not one of them. I’ve been waiting almost 30 days for mine. I was promised by support 10 days. They still haven’t even left China. I’ve moved in the last week, have no way of having it forwarded, and the “Support Team” will not refund me my money for an order that’s not left China and will never make it to me. On top of that, for 6 days, the “Support Team” refused to respond to me. Now I am told to wait longer until the shoes (which may or may not have actually been shipped) arrive to my previous home then get returned to sender back to China. They have lied to me a number of times when inquiries about shipment delays. One time telling me that customs was holding it up, when in fact CBP and USPS hasn’t even received the package yet. All the while, they are capitalizing on my money both principal and interest per day and giving me a run around about delivery. I’m having to go through my bank to get my money back at this point as well as other services. Curiously, during this issue, the company has changed names or websites from oakbaystore.com to durableworkshoes.com. I’m glad that some have had good experiences. I am not one of them, product or customer service wise. BE AWARE!

Don't buy from this middleman company. They charged nearly double over Amazon for the same shoes. 30 day return only if you have not worn the shoes. Otherwise they offer $5 to shut you up, nothing more.

Cost but pair of shoes took a month to get them they were too small I reported to the company they said that they were the size I ordered but they did not fit they offered me to buy another pair for $35 more and I could keep the old pair was not intrested in their scam they offered me $5 re fun don't buy shoes from them they're crooks they should be put out of business

The only 2 good reviews on this site are actually the customer service reps. Check out Oak Bay on BBB website. We spent $139 dollars. In an attempt at resolution, we were offered $5. It was only then we went to BBB and saw that not one complaint had been resolved. I'm not sure what entity is responsible for stopping them. We're just putting our experience out there is hope of stopping others from making the same mistake.

It's obvious the only positive ratings are clearly employees or paid scammers. These shoes are total junk. Mine fell apart the first time I wore them, have the crappiest, flimsiest insoles I've ever seen, and are already falling apart on the outside after 3 wears. Shipping took over a month, and impossible to reach them. Go scam in your own country please!

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CHINESE SCAMMERS! I ordered two of these shoes hoping they'd be a good compromise for work needs and comfort. The toe box was too tight and I attempted to return them.

This business—and the others that "Frank" and "Keqin" run (e.g. Hearttell Jewelry)—presents as a reputable American business with a return policy and location in The States. It is not. They list a return address in Charlotte, NC, but if you send anything there your package will be returned.

They dropship shoes straight from Chinese factories in beat up boxes. The shoes reek of whatever petroleum based resins they are off gassing. They ask you to return the shoes to China. The cheapest price to do so is $35/pair. They know that most people will not pay half of what they paid originally for the shoes to ship them back to China in the hopes that these scam artists might acknowledge receipt and process a refund. Instead we are left with cheap shoes, more plastic pollution and little recourse.

If you are reading, HELP SHUT THEM DOWN:

1. Click on their ads from lots of different IP address. You should be seeing ads on Facebook and Google. Click them, but don't buy! They'll be charged for the clicks.

2. Report them to the FTC.

3. Add your voice to the many who are exposing their seedy business practices.

I mean do I really have to give a star? Mine had no steal toe, no insole on one of the boots, both falling apart, and looked so raggedy. I'm so upset because I feel like I will not see my $130 plus my $10.50 return shipping. Ughhh talk about the best commercials and ads scam ever! What can I do about this? Does anyone no? May I add that in the review comments there is a guy named "Frank" who's the only person that says this product is good. Can someone please check that out? Seems sketchy to me. P.S "Frank" and "Lilly" should stop reviewing and giving themselves 5 stars ⭐️

Poor quality shoes - steel toe pokes through into my foot. Worse customer service! They don't speak English and refuse to understand the issue.

Save your money and find a company who can back-up their product.
