Collection of new van
Have used Northgate for long term hire for the past 10 years and recently collected a new van. The switch over process was very easy, I filled in some paperwork and once everything was in order we were able to drive away in our new van.
All of the staff were very helpful, especially Matt, who gave us an overview of the new van and what was different about it from our old van.
Would highly recommend Northgate for any vehicle hire requirements.

Friendly and accommodating staff!
Staff always friendly in the office. Workshop and staff very accomodating if you need to keep courtesy van over night if you cant drop off van etc.

Great service!
My vehicle had an issue in December and I work on the Isle of wight. Despite the busy time of year, Carol at Portsmouth worked very hard to find me a replacement van. She also arranged for Rob to bring the replacement van to the island for me. Brilliant service!

There were a couple extra repairs that need to be done with the van,but the the technician Robbie kept me updated on the repairs.

Vehicle repair after breakdown
From coming onto the site to my van being handed back the service was excellent and I was kept informed all the way through the process. The repairs that were completed were above and beyond as they recognised two tyres were getting low on tread fo did them too! Many thanks Robbie, you did a great job!

Professional yet Personal
Carol and Rob delivered my rental with a professional yet personal manner remembering me from a previous rental.
I was run through all that came with the van as well as where to find the inflation kit hidden under the floor.
If you're looking to hire a vehicle look no further these guys are great.

Northgate Portsmouth Branch are exceptional. They are professional, diligent and have a quick turn-around with the vehicles. I don't need to chase them up for MOT'S, servicing or repairs. They regularly book these in themselves, keeping the fleet of vehicles operational. When things do go wrong and vehicles have issues, as is inevitable, they are quick to respond to get the vehicles back on the road. I can't recommend them enough. The coffee machine is still top notch.
