From the original order to the finished project was a very short period of time and both the electrical and
garage door installation went smoothly and efficiently. I couldn't be more pleased with the result.

Exceptional service from start to finish. We were kept well informed at every step and all the workmen involved were friendly, courteous, considerate and tidy. I can't praise the company highly enough and would certainly recommend them and use them for any future work.

We were very happy as regards having our resin drive completed from start to finish. The company kept us informed from day one to let us know when they were coming and what was going to happen, they completed the job on time and we could thoroughly recommend them.

From start to finish, we have had a great experience with Next Generation.
Great communication throughout and the lads that did the foundation work were hardworking and made our drive level from something that was leaning off in all directions. The final resin lay was done with precision and we have ended up with a fantastic drive, which aesthetically looks amazing and is maintenance free. Thank you Next Generation.

Let's keep this real for all of you thinking of parting with your hard earned cash.
1) Sales guy:
Now I have to be honest, the sales guy that visited me was a lovely chap. As a salesman myself, I thought he did a great job of going through the process as well as why they charge so much. We went through colours, design, even the staged payments (1st straight away, 2nd after stage one, 3rd on the day the work is complete). He said I would get a dedicated project manager that would keep me up to date every step of the way. I had the feeling after getting the quote, that although it was twice the price of anywhere else, I was dealing with the right company.
2) Project manager comes to do a site survey:
The Project manager turned up and ran some fancy piece of kit over the front garden, which he said helps him see where cables and drains are under the ground - very hi-tech. He also let me know what workers would need access to water and power, so I showed him where they can get those from. He leaves and says they will be in touch to arrange the date for the work. All very professional and very good, I have a good feeling about them. I will say though, this is the last time I saw or heard from the project manager.
3) Clear the garden and old drive to lay the base layers down:
2 lovely and very professional guys, did a great job and also cleaned up after themselves whenever they had to get water through the house. They spent 3 days doing the work with some machinery that had been dropped off, and I couldn't praise them enough. When they left, I essentially had a tarmac drive with a ridge around it that I could park on after 48 hours, the only requisite was not to dry turn on the tarmac. Fantastic! As I still needed a wall built, the office staff agreed I would pay half of the 2nd stage payment at this point and the other half on completion of the wall. Very happy with that.
3) Build the wall:
This stage won't be relevant for most people, this was because I asked if they could remove a bush and replace with a wall. The stage 2 guys removed the bush, so now they were sending a bricky to build the wall. I had to chase for this, as I wasn't given any pro-active communication about when this would happen, but I got a return call to let me know that the materials would be delivered beforehand so that they are onsite ready for the day the bricklayer comes out and a date that the work would happen. He needed water and power as well, and also made sure my house wasn't left a mess as he went through. He did a great job on the wall, it looks fantastic. However, he decided to leave the pallet behind on the drive, never came back for it, so I had to get rid of that. Not the end of the world, but for the money this job cost, I would expect better there. But the office team spoke to me about it and were apologetic about this. Not great, but still a great job on the wall. I then payed the 2nd half of the stage payment.
4) Cement the base of the wall to form a good barrier to the tarmac:
We were told they could do it even if we weren't in as they wouldn't need anything, but I asked if they could still let us know so we could ensure they have access to park. We never got told what day they were coming, and it turns out they did needed water. Fortunately we have lovely neighbours who helped them out, but that could have gone wrong. Not great communication.
5) Resin top:
It took a few calls to find out when this was going to happen. They explained that it would have to be after a few days of nice weather and the fact that they had a backlog due to the poor weather we had been having, I can get on board with that. They would need power, so I asked if I could get at least a week preferably 2 weeks notice so I could book the time off. I then got a call saying they could do it "next week" and if I had a preference on day. I gave 2 days that would be preferable, and was told they would call back shortly, once the schedule was done. I never got a call back and had to chase 2 days later. But I got the date and the materials were delivered a few days before the date. When they turned up though they weren't happy about where the power was (same place I showed the PM). We found a workaround, but more luck than judgement. This time I was asked for the payment before the work was done, which wasn't what we agreed when the salesman came out. However, I was confident I wasn't working with cowboys, they just weren't great at communication, so I agreed to make the payment the day before. This went wrong when my account got frozen due to a security issue, but to be fair, they agreed for me to pay on the day of the installation.

Negatives:
Never saw the project manager after his first trip. Communication not pro-active enough.
Process not exactly as explained initially.
Positives:
Except the leaving of pallet, very professional work team.

Next Generation have done a superb job on my drive, widening, building a retaining wall and finishing with a resin surface. The work has been much admired! They were very accommodating with delaying their work while I had builders in. I also had their composite fencing fitted which has greatly enhanced the look of the house.

The project was well organised and on schedule.
The crew worked very hard all the time and were cheery with it
The heavy machinery was returned in good time when the work was done.

Extremely efficient garage door installation in spite of fitting to an old concrete panelled garage. Super motor operation. Turned up on time and date.

I was well informed by the company about the work to be carried out. I got detailed information from the team on every step of the process. Staff were always polite and considerate. The end results were great and we experienced very little disruption during the process.

Our journey with this Company started with a knock at our door by a lovely young man who was distributing leaflets about new driveways and garage doors. He arranged for someone to come and talk to us and possibly give us a quote. From that we had another lovely man who came to give the quotes and do the drawings ( and played with my little great grandson ). Once we had accepted the quote, everything happened exactly according to plan. There were telephone conversations with us, confirming what was happening, all through the process. It was all very professional and everyone involved in the work was very polite and friendly.

This company was very good from start to finish. They completed the Drive. Compisite Fencing. Patio extension and path. Garage door and facia.
We highly recommend them.

From initial contact to aftercare, this company has been brilliant. Informed us when a delay was gonna happen, checked in with us at various stages. Each department was courteous, polite and well informed. Yes it was a bit more money than I would have liked to pay but the quality of work done is fantastic so I do not begrudge the price at all.
Would use them again for any future work.

After three years, unfortunately, the pebbles fall out and the driveway falls apart... You have to do everything from the beginning... if a company can't do this type of driveway, they shouldn't do it. I emailed to them however I was ignored. It's very sad, as when it came to money, they managed to contact me every day or to call to push me to buy another of their products... I don't recommend this company as a user of a driveway made of resin by them after three years of use...

The company adviser, explained to me about the company. She was professional. She helped me with the different ways of paying the bill. She measured the path, patio area and gave me a quote, for glacier resin. The colour is very bright, clean and looks natural. I’m happy with the deal I got. The surveyor checked the area. The workmen were professional and helpful.
They also fitted a metal gate and fence panel. I’m happy with that. So I’m having another gate fitted.

Everything worked smoothly. Site staff were pleasant, polite and informative. Very pleased with quality of installation. Neighbours remarked on how much an improvement it was. Have arranged for some additional work to be done next month.

the first fitter arrived at 8-20 and asked if the gates were here and he started to assemble what he could until the other fitter arrived and they started to fit the gates after taking the old ones out and when complete they cleared all the old rubbish away I would like to say that new generation do an excellent job and the fitters all all very polite this is the second job they have done for me and I have praised them for there professionalism and I have another job for them and I would reccomend them to anyone

I had already used this company to complete my patio and just had to use them again for my drive.

A reliable knowledgeable team and the second time they have done work here, both being for external resin jobs: large drive and back patio. They came on time, and I felt pleased they were considerate regards external radio noise, especially during the second occasion when it could hardly be heard. Work was done with minimum fuss, they were experienced workers. The finished results were excellent so I am pleased I chose to have the work done. I would definitely recommend this Company.
