Patient and informed person and smooth experience

….preferring to wait around and chatting to each other rather than helping people. No helpful solution to our questions around booking things because of a payment processing problem. They clearly weren’t interested. Five or six of them sitting around joking and muttering to each other. It made us feel like we were interrupting their holiday. I’ve been on a Neilsons holiday before and it was pretty good and the guys were so interactive and helpful. These guys are just on holiday themselves and def don’t want to be put out by us wanting to try and book things. Not a great experience.

Our week in Vounaki was fantastic,all sports were great, the food was excellent, the best we have ever had at a Neilson resort. Staff were so helpful , especially the Greek bar and restaurant staff. No wonder the return rate is so high, we book for 2027 whilst on holiday!

Flights were unavailable from Glasgow so phoned and spoke with very helpful lady who made some enquiries and was able to organise Flights from Glasgow instead of having to travel to Manchester.

I'd highly recommend this holiday if you are looking for a mix of an active but also relaxing holiday with great food!
The Neilson staff were all brilliant throughout - both at the hotel itself (Stef and Charlie) and also the activity based instructors - at the beach we enjoyed the SUP, e-foiling intro, sea scooters, guided swim. The yoga was excellent, as was the fitness WOD! Cycling great too! We did a couple of guided rides and also took the e-bikes to Sciacca ourselves partly following a guided route we had done the previous day. Tried Pickleball for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed!
The hotel itself is of a high standard. Hotel staff all friendly and helpful. Good sized room with large balcony. Air con, good shower, super-king sized bed. We enjoyed the complementary spa access. We took the inclusive breakfast & buffet dinner every day. The food was lovely and of consistently high quality. The buffet restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating areas. The outdoor area has super views of the coastline. The hotel pool area was good, we were able to swim in the pool but as it was used by other hotel (non-Neilson) guests lane swimming wasn't available - this didn't impact us too much though. It was a short walk from the hotel to the cycling / racket sports centres, and also to the beach facilities. The main beach is sandy and has free sun loungers available. it is shared with the general public. However, there is also a "quiet" beach which is available exclusively to hotel guests.
We typically did a couple of activities or classes each day and spent time relaxing ourselves at the beach and by the pool.
We will definitely do another location Neilson Inside Collection holiday and we also intend to go back to the Neilson x Mangia Torre del Barone resort.

Booking was straight forward, intuitive, and lots of information provided.

Ski Holiday - Andorra
We love skiing with Neilson in Andorra, every ski holiday has been amazing.
The only limitation is the number of resorts and locations but have enjoyed locations in France (3 Valleys), Andorra but miss the Mayrhofen location (pre Covid)

Easy to see options for holidays and dates. Some are reasonably priced (bed and breakfast), others super expensive. Neilson has gone up hugely in cost since taken over by private equity. Would benefit from a lot more photos, especially of bedrooms.

Had a fantastic 2 weeks at the Buca beach club. Facilities and food were great. Staff were great. Have already booked for next year.

we went to vounaki as a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children age 2 and 5.
We had a brilliant week, the staff were all fantastic, a special mention to the kids club team, who were full of energy and enthusiasm, and worked tirelessly to entertain the children. Erin (manager)Lia, Cory, Lois and Bobby were super accommodating and our children loved being on their groups.
The food was great, as we're the restaurant staff, a waiter who stood out to us was Anastasis, always very helpful.
All activities and staff were great too.
The room was a bit tired, lots of space but not much storage for clothes, but still spotlessly clean and you aren't in the room enough to worry.
We did end up booking an alternative flight for returning home as the standard Neilson one was a night time flight which wouldn't have worked well with our kids. Again the GSM Scott was very helpful here and got us on a transfer bus to the airport.
Overall a great holiday, would recommend to couples and families.

Booked what we wanted but as flight prices are live our group of friends going together all booked the same day against the same quote reference but all paid increasingly higher prices as the day when by as popularity of the flights grew during the day as we all started booking which seemed a bit strange .

It was easy to book. I like the room choices and ditterent flight times.

Stress free holiday, everything sorted

So well looked after by the fantastic Greek staff and also Neilson staff. The food is absolutely wonderful not your average buffet. All beautifully presented. The chefs really take a pride in all they do. Activities very well organised in all disciplines. Well done Neilson. Back next year. Thank you.

Neilson Sardinia. The Neilson activities crew are great fun and really helpful, covering so many activities, and very good for children, from really quite young upwards with their own activities crew as well! Food superb on the four inclusive nights, and though buffet style, there is lots of variety! Thought excellent for families, and with children, couples and friends together, less so for singles on their own, in my week anyway! Pretty quiet after 9.00pm, though there are organised events like a Salsa evening at the pool bar! Being a bit shy I did not venture there on my own! Also, there is a ‘social’ table on the inclusive meal nights, no one on it for my first two to three nights! No ‘host’ on it either. However, a head waiter told me that on my week it was quite quiet, but it had been lively on previous ones! On the ‘meeting’ at the pool bar for new arrivals, we were advised about restaurants for eating out on the non inclusive meal nights, like walking around the bay, or taking a taxi, to other restaurants, as the resort is fairly secluded! So far I have stayed in the resort and had evening meal in on these non inclusive nights, and paid for by being put on a tab. Most things paid by putting onto a tab, like at the pool bar, and paid at the end of one’s stay, or earlier! Highlights for me were definitely the Beach activities with dinghies, ‘cats’, windsurfers, kayaks and paddle boards available, along with teaching sessions for different experiences, with rescue motor boats always on hand, and not forgetting the beautiful views! There are plenty of dedicated sun loungers and parasols for Neilson guests on the beach, and poolside too! Lovely sea swimming area , shallow enough for supervised 3 years upwards I would say! The edges of the beach had ‘sea grass’ on them, not sea weed I was told, and fine to walk through! I also saw that the area for yoga and other types of sessions in the wooded area were very popular too! Tennis was also very popular, and there is a great cycling team, with some e bikes as well! Even on my own though I still thoroughly enjoyed myself, and depends on what one wants! Another joy is having a lovely air conditioned room to nip back into, all of them being on one level in bungalows, not far from the restaurant, and of course a great fresh water swimming pool, wonderful for after sea swimming!
