Excellent provider of online courses. Extremely responsive to queries. Highly recommend.

The instructors were very kind and helpful.

it worked out very well, self paced course with combination of video lessons and practical exercises. Instructors responded always quickly and to the point. Would recommend!

Really well structured and very prompt and friendly, approachable support via email. Clear outline of modules and the end of module assessments set you up well for the exam.
The online option has pro’s and cons but I opted for it as I could slot it around childcare and work commitments.

The course I did was very well organised with enough assessments. Help is only one e-mail away and feedback is friendly and usefull.

Way to go

Very good and interactive way to learn the rye dayskipper. I manager to complete it in 3 weekends. Highly recommended

Very helpful, friendly and responsive group of people running this operation! Would unquestionably recommend for all courses. My journey will continue with them I'm sure. Thanks all! Andy

The course is set out very methodically and help is on hand whenever you reach out.

Never sailed before and found this course very good. Easy to follow instructions and great communications from staff. i would highly recommend.

I took the Day Skipper RYA online training course. The presentation of the lessons was very good.

I took the online RYA Coastal Skipper / Yachtmaster Offshore Theory from NavAtHome. The quality of the online lectures was spectacular, and easily accessible. I had the freedom to visit the lectures and training material as much as I want. The lecturers were swift and constructive in their feedback. I could receive answers almost immediately, and every day. It was overall a great learning experience for me thanks to NavAtHome's online system and great team of lecturers. I would recommend their courses to everyone.

I run the RYA YM Ocean Theory with Navathome online. Perfectly structured course with a lot of exercises. During the exam the topics were very familiar due to the training, not easy, but I could rush fast and precise through the questions. In the course and exam the feedback from Navathome team was excelent.
Marcel from Germany.

Excellently run online course. Really helpful, exceptionally prompt, responsive instructors (any day of the week)!

Good enough for an online course but wish I had done it in person at an RYA club as strangely it would have been easier.

The good points - the course was well structured and it develops well despite the amount of topics required.

The bad points - the final assessment could have been explained better - what you needed to 'pass' for example. Although there was no required pass mark there was a lot of back and forth on emails to determine exactly what was needed to gain the certificate. They almost charged me again for retaking the test also.

Once I was successful, they told me to confirm address for the Certificate but now 2 months later I am still waiting and there is no response from email so I wouldn't say it's great value.

Thank you for your response, unfortunately I have been emailing - a total of 5 now since last December and all have been ignored.

Update - Again - I have emailed this address 6 times now and nothing. Can you please check your junk folder.

Poor experience . I started the day skip theory course but asked for a full refund. I found the reading was long and arduous and tiring on my eyes.I called and asked if they have the text speak ability that others have, along with modern app on apple ,makes learning so much easier and user friendly .This was abruptly brushed aside and I felt it very poor that they are not up to date and modernised training. By looking elsewhere I immediately found much better online training with videos and text speak which is so much better so my advise is look around and ask for a deal which you should get .This system of reading only/small video, seems to me very out of date .Im sure 1000s love it but for us we prefer text speak when wading through tons of learning literature .

poor attitude from staff and didnt want to listen to constructive improvements to help students .. Look elsewhere .

Im quite sure ill get a very negative response from navathome here but this was my personal experience and adapting to modern methods, with apps and text voice for those that want ,over mass reading ,makes sense and investment in modern apps and training seems a very sensible step forward . I found better more advanced courses away and better value . Perhaps take constructive critique onboard is the way forward in this ever competitive world .

Rapid support, good course content.

Assessment requires more detailed knowledge than the quizzes suggest, particularly on buoyage.

Excellent content. Helpful staff online
