No trust in this company, will not use again
I've waited on posting a review being hopefull (naive?) that the company will do their due deligence and all is fine. The only thing they've done is a really good job at blaming Amazon.
Here are a few facts for anybody considering purchasing anything from Natures Aid, let alone products for infants and babies.
- Amazon emailed saying the product contains hazardous substances
- After 2 days Natures Aid released a statement that this was merely a withdrawal and the affected batch never reached consumers, blaming Amazon for doing the recall in error.
- People started sharing pictures holding the bottles from the affected batch (obviously it has reached the consumers!).
- Natures Aid promised a Q&A on Monday - this has never been released (Thursday evening now)
- Parents still have no answer from Natures Aid what exactly was wrong with the batch - what component and how much by besides the "fish oil" answer.
- Natures Aid confirmed on multiple phone calls that only every 3rd batch gets tested. No answer as to why only 1 batch was disclosed as affected.
- I was promised a call back on Monday and of course there was nothing.
- Especially annoying is the company posting online about "sweating" when there are parents loosing their sleep not knowing what they'd been giving to their babies.
The general feel is that Natures Aid are waiting out for parents to give up and for it to go away with time.
Not handling the DHA recall situation…
Not handling the DHA recall situation well. I haven’t been contacted back.
No problems
I would never trust Natures Aid again
I would never trust Natures Aid again, they are handling dha mini drops situation pretty badly and lying to people on such a sensitive matter. For example, they stated that they issued a product withdrawal (taking back the product before it reaches any customers). But several people have bottles from the affected batch. They have been very slow releasing information. We need full details asap! Testing reports, exact levels of how much the thresholds were exceeded. I think this company should be investigated asap and all their products tested!
Unacceptable Product Recall
Unacceptable Product Recall - Natures Aid DHA Drops through Amazon
I am writing this review to express my outrage at a recent product recall from Amazon whereby Natures Aid is the manufacturer. In July of last year, I purchased Natures Aid DHA Omega-3 Mini Drops for Infants and Children. Just this week, I received an email stating the product has been recalled due to containing hazardous chemicals! I trusted you and your product to provide vitamins and should AID my son’s maintenance of a healthy heart, brain and vision- YET YOUR PRODUCTED COULD HAVE CAUSED SIGNIFICANT HARM AS it contained HAZARDOUS CHEMICALS!!!!
Here's the most disturbing part - my son, who was 19 months old at the time, consumed these drops! Amazon offered a simple refund as compensation. This is absolutely absurd! A refund does not come close to addressing the potential health risks my child may have faced.
I am utterly disgusted that Amazon considers a measly £5 sufficient compensation for potentially exposing my child to harmful chemicals. Their response is shockingly dismissive of a very serious situation and I cannot wait to see how Natures Aid responds to my emails.
This experience raises serious concerns about the safety of products sold by Natures Aid. Parents trust YOU with the well-being of their children.
Other parents, please be aware! Check your cupboards for these recalled drops and take immediate action to protect your child's health. Furthermore, I urge Natures Aid to take product safety and recalls much more seriously. A simple refund is not enough when a child's health is potentially at risk.
Contains hazardous chemicals
I wouldn't trust Natures Aid.
After they found out from their supplier there is a higher level of a hazardous chemical that affects health in their Omega 3 oil for infants and small children they quietly withdrawn a whole batch from the market - not addressing customers that were already using it!
They are refusing to show any testing resuls and previous batches were never tested. They refusing to specify the chemical found elevated.
NA inforned 250 worried parents (via third party) that previous batches are safe, but refuse to back it with any relevant information.
Public statment re this was changed at least two times, all questions are dismissed by turing comments off and not replying to their social media direct messages.
Product recall for DHA drops
Product recall for DHA drops
Item recalled via Amazon, heard nothing from Natures Aid. As a parent of a small child you can imagine how concerning this is. No further info given. Not professional or reassuring.
Products contain hazardous chemicals
On Friday, 27th April Amazon sent a message: “Natures Aid has published a recall notification about DHA Omega-3 Mini Drops for Infants and Children, Sugar Free, 50 ml” So far they haven’t provided any other information. I’m freaking out, how can they just say ‘contains hazardous chemicals’ and leave it at that in a baby food supplement?!

Harmful chemicals DHA Omega-3 Mini Drops
As a concerned parent, I am deeply troubled by the lack of transparency and responsibility shown by Natures Aid. Purchasing their DHA Omega-3 Mini Drops for Infants and Children on Amazon.co.uk, I trusted this brand to provide safe and beneficial supplements for my child. However, learning that this product contains hazardous chemicals is absolutely unacceptable. Not only is it alarming that harmful substances were sold to children, but the lack of detailed information provided to parents is appalling. The absence of clarity regarding what these chemicals are and their potential effects leaves parents feeling betrayed and helpless. Natures Aid has shattered any trust I had in their brand, and I urge other parents to exercise caution when considering their products in the future.
Hazardous chemicals - no response
Received a recall notice from amazon saying that dha baby drops contains hazardous chemicals. I have been giving these drops to my baby for many months now.
Being a recall i expect to receive detailed information. The company doesn't seem to care or respond to my queries.
Product Recall - No Information for Consumers
We have received no information regarding the DHA mini drops recall, other than that it contains ‘hazardous chemicals’. Our very young daughter has consumed these for months. It’s horrible a company can release such a terrifying recall and offer utterly no information (not even what batches are impacted or what hazardous chemical(s) are in the product) to concerned parents, but Natures Aid is still active on social media advertising their other products.
Completely unacceptable, abhorrent behaviour from a supposedly reputable company. We will never purchase anything from Natures Aid again.
Gross Negligence and Utter Disregard for Consumer Safety by Natures Aid
I am utterly appalled by Natures Aid's handling of the recall for their DHA Omega-3 Mini Drops, a product I have trusted and administered to my daughter for over a year. The recall notice simply states the presence of "hazardous chemicals," without any further explanation or details. What chemicals are we talking about? What are the potential long-term impacts on our children's health? Natures Aid's failure to provide these essential details is not only irresponsible but downright dangerous.
The company's vague communication and lack of urgency in addressing the severity of this issue demonstrate a shocking disregard for the well-being of its customers' children. By leaving parents in the dark, Natures Aid has shown an unfathomable level of negligence. As a parent, I am left to worry about the unknown consequences that these "hazardous chemicals" may have on my child’s health, both now and in the future.
It is disgraceful that Natures Aid has not taken immediate steps to inform affected consumers comprehensively. Their silence and inaction only add to the anxiety and frustration of countless families. This is not just poor customer service; it is a severe breach of trust and a potential health hazard. Parents deserve better. We need clear answers and a responsible action plan, not vague alerts that leave us fearing for our children’s safety.
Products with hazardous chemicals recalled
My 4 year old son has been on their all kind of products including Omega3 since he was an infant and now what has been going on is unbelievable! Many bottles that we bought are recalled with no explanation! Amazon only told the hazardous chemicals which made our worries even worse as it’s not clear what chemicals!! We are left in dark and there is no one to make a decent explanation to all the parents here! We are very worried and what this company did is unacceptable!!! There is someone to make recall by Amazon but there is no one to make an explanation!! We are talking about our little children!!! Loads of people are trying to reach you via Amazon, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, emails to managers and many other ways!!! Someone should come forward and explain this situation right away!
Awful customer service with no care for customer safety.
Natures aid have recalled there Infant DHA drops over hazardous chemical concerns but provided no other information. Parents have been left in turmoil over the weekend. The company have been active on social media this weekend however remained silent in response to hundreds of concerns raised by parents. Really poorly managed situation, really awful customer care. Will stop use of all products from Natures Aid, I have absolutely zero confidence in the company's product safety or customer relations. Very disappointing, you owe your customers a response.
Product recall due to hazardous chemicals
Product recall due to hazardous chemicals, no further information, just "Please do not consume and dispose of the product. If you have consumed the product and are feeling unwell, please seek medical advice."
What the hell? I guess I'm lucky that my kid even as a baby didn't like the taste and spat out almost everything with the drops in. I would still like to know what kind of illness these chemicals promote, as my kid has been chronically ill for a while now, which coincides with using these drops.
This company is immoral.
This company is immoral, craven and ignorant. Any reputable company would respond to product recalls and speculation and provide further information; especially when customer health is involved. The fact that their products are marketed towards infants is even more abominable. Shame on this company for the worry they have purposely prolonged for parents affected by this product recall.
The product contains hazardous chemicals.
We have been a customer of their Mini Drops for some time now and recently they had a recall of their DHA product without any explanation. We are still waiting for a statement from the company.
The recall notice for a product that is intended for INFANTS read - “ The product contains hazardous chemicals.”
HAZARDOUS CHEMICALS
Received an email from Amazon stating that Natures aid has published a recall notification for the DHA Omega-3 Mini Drops for Infants and Children. Stating the products contain hazardous chemicals.
Yet there has been no direct information from Natures aid and the published recall is nowhere to be found.
The fact is many children and babies(mine included)have consumed this product, and no information has been provided to inform us exactly what this hazardous chemical is. It is shocking and the lack of communication from Natires aid is unacceptable .
Product recall on children’s DHA…
Product recall on children’s DHA vitamin drops received today from Amazon, where I have been buying this brand from, stating HAZARDOUS CHEMICALS and absolutely NO other information. Irresponsible customer care. Many people are extremely worried. We want answers immediately. Just totally unacceptable.
