These men and van turned up at 6.45 and unloaded their tools and of loft insulation in a quiet residential cul-de-sac!
Just rang the company to ask why they think it's acceptable to turn up at 6.45am And do this and their answer was the customer had expressed them to come as early as they could.
So if the customer would ask them to come at 5 o'clock in the morning, would they still turned up? Do they think that 6.45 is an okay time! look at the laws about when workmen can start working on private residences it's usually 8 pm which if they turned up at that time would've been fine but 6.45in the morning and they have just been sitting around the last two hours and now they've just started work at 9:15! dreadful shellfish company and neighbour!

Please stay away from this company they are total scammers taking money from clients running, they have just set up another company with the same name but north east ltd. Avoid at all costs

Great Customer service delivered what they said they would great price completed on time to a high standard kept me informed through the full process and made it as smooth as possible for me and my family definitely use this company again highly recommended thanks we love the space you created for us

We had a conversion done to our late parents house to increase the resale value, we weren't there to experience the actual impact on day to day living if any but the overall finished conversion was to a good standard.
Would use them again if I had other projects.

Overall it was a good job and finished well to being fair a really high standard. Was supposed to be installed in November and its just finished yestoday so there has been a delay in works which I'm told was down to weather and Christmas break landing following the weather. All in all its hard to find perfection but I'm satisfied with what I got.

Not happy with the service. We should have realised they were not great because they did not come out to look at the loft beforehand. The loft room rate 7/10 however the loft ladders were terrible. They were not stable and we were not happy with the ladders so they agreed to replace them free of labour and we had to pay for bespoke loft ladders. We paid £650.00 for the bespoke loft ladders. We waited for 12 weeks and nothing, called and called, replied three times and after that nothing. Thankfully I paid using online banking so was able to claim the £650.00 back and had another company rip out the unstable ladders they put in and had them install bespoke ladders. Not great. Also not happy with how much money you have to pay upfront.

Caution: Consider carefully before engaging with this loft company, as it may lead to regrets. Initially, they requested a 20% deposit as the initial project cost. Despite the contract stating that this is refundable within a 14-day cooling-off period, refunds are never issued.

In the worst-case scenario, I ended up paying a further 40% for the material cost (second stage), and the project never commenced.

Despite assurances that the cost covers design, planning, and application for building regulations, none of these materialized. Expect additional charges at higher rates.

I’ve reported the situation to Action Fraud, Citizen Advice, and Trading Standards, and I'm resorting to filing a court case in the money claim court.
