My actual driving instructor was professional, but National Intensive as a booking agency was a complete disaster. They failed to deliver the basic administrative services I paid for:

Wrong Dates & Threats: They booked the completely wrong dates for my intensive course, despite me explicitly telling them beforehand that I was unavailable. I actually had to reschedule my holiday to make the test date they forced on me, because they said they couldn't change it and I would lose my money.

Appalling Communication: I had to make contact with the instructor myself, only to find out they had absolutely no idea about my test date, National Intensive, or our agreement. The agency left them completely in the dark.

Unfair Deductions: I had to pay out of pocket for the first test, and National Intensive then deducted that off the hours I had already paid them for! Absolutely crazy.

Zero Support: When the issues became obvious, they offered no help to resolve their own mistakes.

Because of their incompetence, my driving progress and subsequent job opportunities have been delayed by up to 6 months.

I am now forced to go through a lengthy bank chargeback process just to get my money refunded. Until that clears, I can't really afford to progress with my driving test and lessons.

Do NOT use this company. They have absolutely no goodwill, understanding, or common decency. They just want your money and will use every trick in the book to get more out of you and squeeze you dry. This is not an ethical company.

I am editing this because I saw my Instructor also wrote a review reporting he got ripped off as well! We are not the only ones be it student or instructor this company just likes to rip people off! Please visit reddit, and other forums to review. People don't get this upset over nothing. In the coming months I will be pursuing a Group Litigation Order.

When you are reviewing my comments, please can you review this company, it looks like they are Selectively sending review invitations just after a call and before service.

"Stay away from National Intensive. I was hired as an instructor to help them out with three pupils. We agreed that the pupils would pay £42/hour and the company would pay me the remaining £4/hour of my usual rate. After 65 hours of lessons, they are now denying the agreement and refusing to pay me what I'm owed. They have ripped me off and are incredibly unprofessional. I’ve stopped working with them and strongly advise others to avoid them."

Viewing the web site I was unsure what I would need to book for my son. I called spoke with Yad who was fantastic through discussions he advised the best package to support my son’s ability. I have now booked and everything is now in motion. It’s now over to the kid to do his part, no pressure 😉

Good booking service and they found me a great instructor Andrew which helped me pass first try.

We've payed a lot of money to have the dribing instrutor contact us just a couple weeks before the test date saying he doesn't think he can fit us in. What do we do now? We paid extra to go on the cancellation list. This is a joke. Stating to feel this is some kinda scam

All the 5 star reviews are due to initial phone calls with the company and them being really polite and asking for 5 stars. After paying or having an arrangement, it is really hit or miss with the DI you are given and usually it is a miss. My DI was extremely negative and did not help my driving confidence at all. It seemed like he decided very early, about 6 hours into our 35 hours that I was not going to pass and was from then unwilling to let me use the car for my test to which the company supported due to his reputation. I tried to explain to the company that he may well be a great DI but does that actually mean that my experience did not happen. Anyways have my license now but would really recommend not using these as they are just a middle man and once they get their money they aren’t fussed about the quality of driving instruction.

I can’t recommend my driving instructor Adriana enough! She has been absolutely amazing from start to finish. Her patience, encouragement, and clear way of explaining things made such a difference to my confidence on the road.

Thanks to her support and guidance, I passed my driving test first time on Thursday (02/04/26)! 🎉 She always believed in me, even when I doubted myself, and pushed me to do my best in a calm and reassuring way.

My instructor Yasir was amazing and made learning very easy to understand and quick to get the hang of. He helped with my confidence and was very easy to learn with. Cant recommend him enough! The booking process was easy and handy that my test was sorted for me. Thanks for the help!
